Californians, to the barricades!
There's still time to vote for prop 73, a very common sense initiative that begins to restore the proper balance of family authority over the state's in making moral decisions. And for Prop 74--tenure for public school teachers? Please. Given the discussions of academic freedom on this blog by our pseudonymous host, I don't think junior-high health teachers are in the same need of tenure that Rusty is.

Oh! There's still time to vote down San Fran's odious Preparation H, oh wait, Proposition H (One of them really chaps my hindquarters, the other relieves it...). Gun laws in California are draconian enough, thank you.
Polls are open till 8, I think, so do your duty.
UPDATE: Well, bugger that. I'm off to buy earthquake supplies.

Damn, you beat me to it. I've been watching
Preparation H ever since I found out about it, and I even have the SF election returns up in another window, waiting for the results to get posted.

It's too damn late for California to get itself out of the mess it's in. What we in the Red States need to be on the lookout for are these fools from California coming to our states after having ruined theirs, but with the attitude that they want to try the same thing in our states that ruined California. I've already noticed some of them coming to Texas, so all other states need to be on the lookout.
Just be sure they don't run unopposed in elections, etc. without having to give their views. They normally do not win if opposed, other than in Austin. Well, there ain't no hope for Austin, either.
