There has been a letter bombing at a British embassy in Croatia. The media coverage is detailed at
.
As more reports come I'll be updating the coverage of the story there.

Violence mongers - probably Impy or some other nutjob.

Regardless of whether there was a bombing or not, the fact is that we have created a monster in Bosnia. Radical Islam has taken hold there, and I see no way to root it out. US and UN forces there do not intervene, and the jihadists have taken over the mosques.
This is where the push in the conquest of Europe will come from. US forces already encounter fighters from this region in Iraq. Terrorist training sites exist in the Balkans and are working overtime training recruits.

Is it just me, or does anyone else think that possibly the reason that Western nations are not really trying to solve the islamic problem is that once things get so bad that the people will no longer remain silent, it will make the imposition of police states, along with the elimination of democracy and civil rights, that much easier?
I hate these idiot conspiracy mongers like greg and DSM, but when one applies Occam's Razor to the current situation, i.e. almost total non-resistance by our governments to the onslaught of islam, one must choose between incompetence or complicity.
Is the government trying to stop islamic terrorism? Is it trying to secure our borders? Is it trying to stop the proliferation of nuclear weapons and technology? Is the government really doing anything to make things better, or is it just using the worsening situation to gather and consolidate more power?
I get the distinct feeling that the politicians and bureaucrats in Washington are only trying to control the situation, but not solve the problem, because if they solved the problem we'd demand balanced budgets and more government accountability, whereas now we are more inclined to overlook irregularities in budgets, such as the massive pork found in the recent highway bill, though everyone is screaming about deficit spending.
I have lost all faith in the government, and I believe that they are paving the way to our ruin, solely for their own short-term political and financial gain. Now is the time to arm yourselves, because as the recent government behavior in NO shows, protecting citizens isn't their priority, but rather controlling them.

Maximus,
You're on a roll. One does wonder about some of the stupid decisions we've seen over the past few years. The relentless attacks of the Left on America from both home and abroad should give a hint as to what's going on. I believe the takeover of the media by the Left is the single worst event of this period. The amount of propaganda coming out of the MSM is unprecedented in both its scope and intensity.
The triple alliance of the media, Left, and the Islamists is almost as bad as the Left's takeover of the media.
Think about this for a minute, if it doesn't make your head hurt due to the absurdity of it: the Left attacks Christians for opposing homosexual marriage but align themselves with the Islamists who want to execute someone for being homosexual.
Only the Left could be this narsacistic.

Don't forget, jj, that the Republicans, though holding Congress and the Presidency, are behaving as if they're waiting for orders from the dhimmicrats. They are either incompetent to hold office, or complicit in the crimes, or both. I'm sick of everyone at this point, and don't believe for one second that things are going to get better without a war of cleansing on our own soil.

Maximus,
Glad you brought this up because the hard Left wants a fight. Every time I go over to DU, the Kossacks, or Indymedia I see post after post from people who want to go to the White House and rid the country of the President. I assume they think the nation would go along with their coup, even though 90% of the officer corp and 70% of the enlisted men are red staters.
Honestly, I don't think it would be much of a fight, but it could get sticky if the military didn't declare quickly and take decisive action. We'll just have to see how this whole thing plays out.

You want my honest, no-bullshit opinion about a coup? I say go for it, because I don't believe things could possibly get much worse than they are now, what with the maddest of the mad in charge of the asylum. I can think of about a dozen generals whom I would trust unquestioningly to get things fixed if they didn't have petty political BS to deal with.
Civilians don't realize it, but the best and brightest in our society are most often found in the upper ranks of the Combat Arms branches of the military services. Among the officers I have known, and that is no few, I found men versed in the Classics, scholarly in history and philosophy, deeply humanitarian with a true distaste for violence and bloodshed, but willing to offer their own lives as a sacrifice for the good of the nation were it necessary. In short, they were Heroes in the truest sense of the word.
These are men with a deep sense of duty, honor, integrity, and loyalty to the nation, the people, and the Constitution, as compared to most politicians, any of whom would sell his or her own mother to a whorehouse if it would get them power.

The US finished all its coups in 'the Stans.' The other countries were left alone.
Maybe its 'the criminal elements' that paniced for the same reasoning(EU or other groups-'Stans') and took out the Russian school?

WTF? Is English not your first language, or did you forget that you're not supposed to post when high?
