Off subject. comment here is to answer Bourbon. I don't believe Cardinal Ratszinger will make it. His ties with the former nazi youth movement will cause to much liberal disruption to his appointment. Nor will a black or latin Cardinal be elected. Look for the Cardinal from Venice or Cardinal from Milan. Probably Milan. The next pope will be Italian.
Of course Cardinal Ratszinger is pro traditional and is 78 yrs old. Could he be an interim pope? Then another Italian.
