It took Canada decades to even consider limited aboriginal self-government (a people with more sympathies across Canada than Muslims), so the adoption of anything close to Shariah law is, realistically speaking, a ways off, if at all possible. Not to mention that Canadian laws will continue to supercede all others (aboriginal, Muslim, or otherwise).
