Beth Geisel Gets DWI

(Albany, New York) Most people, after finding themselves in a hole, quit digging. Not 42-year-old Sandra "Beth" Geisel. Remember, it's only been a couple weeks since she was indicted for rape of a student in a high-profile case that has embarrassed and humiliated her children, her husband, her friends, and the Christian Brothers Academy.

Yet today, around 0830 EDT, she decides to drive while sloshed, cuts off a police car, and gets arrested for driving while intoxicated. She blew a 0.13 on the breathalyzer. And this all happened before 9am.

The only explanation I can figure for Geisel's behavior is that she's trying to fortify her contention that the hooch made her commit the rape of a student, or that she's exceedingly stupid. In either case, she's a menace to society.

1 I would be suprised if she stops here. Looks to me like she's gonna plead insanity. This should help.

2 I think we shouldn't refer to her crime as rape.

3 The woman is an alchoholic. Her family needs to get her help.

4 She is a danger to herself and those around her, and apparently has been for some time. Her behavior is not rational and has not been since at least early this year, possibley longer. She is mentally ill, whether it be extreme addictive behaviors, some sort of extended manic episode or what, and strong mental health measures need to be taken.

5 Gee wheez: Such a tantrum. Terrible crime. Only thing that happen was that the victim got willfully laid. Exactly what he wanted.

6 This woman needs help. As a parent myself, I would never leave my kids in a motel room & go drinking all night & forget about them. She’s made one bad judgment call after another concerning her own kids & so far she’s been lucky, & the kids have not been hurt or killed. But it’s just a matter of time before her luck runs out & these kids either seriously injured, abducted or killed either by direct or indirect negligence of “mom”. She’s got an alcohol problem & my guess is that she probably felt the calling of the booze, so she left the kids sleeping in the room at around 10 or 11 pm, went out somewhere all night drinking or God only knows what else, then morning came before she knew it, & in her “drunken fog” found herself lost & probably flagged down those that “stranger” for directions back to her hotel & at that time the police got her. Right now this woman is a danger to herself, others on the road, & if there are kids in her care, she’s a danger to them as well. She may love her kids very much, but b/c her head is not on straight, she is incapable of being a good, responsible parent to those kids. Her husband & the law need to intervene now, before it’s too late, & we are reading some very sad & unfortunately news about her children instigated by their mom’s inability to think straight. So, yes, I agree, her kids need to be saved from her & she needs to be saved from herself. It doesn’t matter what Beth Geisel says, her family need to put their foot down & not allow her to continue to put these kids in danger by allowing her to have them in her care. Those kids could have been killed in an actual fire, & when the law found out they were “neglected” by their mom while she was drunk & lost on the other side of town, that could have added to the list of charges already against her. Thank God, that didn’t happen. She was lucky! The kids were lucky! But luck has a way of running out & one day so could the lives of Geisel’s children.

7 She leaves her kids alone in hotel room while she is miles away drunk and picking up alleged crack dealers? Where is the limit to the disgrace this woman will bring on herself, the kids and her family? Why doesn't her husband beat the crap out of her for all of this dishonor she has brought down on him? Heck why doesnt he beat the crap out of her for putting "his" kids in danger the way she did? If those were my kids and anyone did that to them, they surely earn a very bad body hurting from me. Jeff out.

I usually don’t condone violence, but I’m sorry, placing “my kids” in danger(even if it’s their own mother) is really where I would just “snap” Jeff out.

12 Sexual predator lives out high school fantasy? August 04, 2005 12:17 PM EST One has to ask the question, how many of these stealthy child predators are working in our schools, both public and private? Sandra Beth Geisel, a wife currently separated from her banking executive husband, is the latest in a continual outing of female child rapists. Let's deal with some facts out in the open. Women have been having their way with young, underage and inexperienced boys since forever. Obviously, this doesn't happen to every boy, but it happens far more than society would like to admit. What was once seen as some perverse rite of passage (having your virginity taken by an adult female) is now beginning to be seen for what it truly is - statutory rape. As men, we are going to have to decide that we and the young men growing up around us have value as human beings. We don't want some psychologically-stank pervert deflowering our young daughters, either forcefully or through suave manipulation, and that goes without saying. However, how serious are we about having that same conviction about our sons? Why should their innocence be written off just because they're males? Yet, that is the message that society sends through its silence and taps on the wrists of female sexual predators. One has to wonder when enough will be enough and parents, family, close friends and responsible members of society will demand that young boys have their youth as zealously protected as that of young girls. We all know that men have been preying on young girls and women and that's wrong, period. Now, what are we going to do about women preying on young boys - ignore it as we've done in the past or step up and deal with it like responsible adults? I encourage you to write your Local, State and Federal representatives in government and demand that female sexual predators receive the same sentencing handed down to male offenders.
