Are British Conservatives Weak on Terror?
Wow, I never thought I'd be criticizing the Tories for being weak on terrorism. To their eternal shame they voted against Labour's proposal to outlaw the glorification of terrorism. The opposition claimed that the new law was not needed. But as Robert Spencer rightly points out, "If the existing laws were adequate to the problem, why did Abu Hamza preach unhindered for seven years?" Indeed.

The Tories are weaker than our Republicans. They can't get the word out like Fox and non-MSM can here and are easily marginalized by the BBC, Guardian, Independent etc. So, my point is they're weak period.
But I don't necessarily disagree with them on this. "Glorification" is just one of those words that can go a long way in directions originally unintended. As some have commented at jihadwatch, the existing laws are good enough, but its a matter of will to enforce them. Britian has a PC problem gone amuck.

Sorry about a "me too", but the point made by javapuke is correct. The existing laws are perfectly adequate, but a well developed sense of political correctness verging on dhimmitude has prevented their enforcement. That has been caused by the present administration, not the opposition.
Please will Maximus not judge the whole of the people by their government?
