Al Qaeda Working With Iran?

That's what some intelligence analysts seem to think may be happening. It should be remembered that the main al Qaeda leadership, Zawahiri, and the Iraq leader Abu Musab al Zarqawi have publicly disagreed over whether or not targetting Shiites was acceptable. Perhaps there is a reason Zawahiri and presumably bin Laden have come out against this. And while I'm not 100% convinced that Iran is aiding al Qaeda, mutual enemies have created stranger alliances.

1 I do not want the U.S to even mention Al-Qaeda members being in Iran, as being part of the reason to impose military action. Iran would put three rounds in the head of any of them and put them in a mass grave before they would allow the U.S to find them, or prove their presence. This is the sort of talking points that come back to haunt the officials "OK, you took out Iran, where is Al-Qaeda?" stick to the facts, they're attempting to build Nuclear weapons, and have threatened the Nuclear destruction of Israel. I don't even want to hear about their global support for terrorism, which is a widely accepted fact. Just the Nuclear tyranny.

2 Good point davec. It is the old song, and dance. Talk up a problem for a few months. Iran. Say all the really bad things Iran has been doing, then blast them to the stone age. How about with someone elce's taxes this time. At least, pay me with oil stock, or something for helping to pay for the bombing. Ya know?
