A Quick Look At The Indictment

I just got done listening to Fitzgerald's press conference.

I believe that in addition to Scooter Libby, the following people should be forced to resign in the wake of this scandal:

Ari Fleischer
John Ashcroft
Colin Powell
Paul O'Neill
My mailman
The grumpy lady at the social security office
The entire staff of the Internal Revenue Service

One final thought. Now that he has copious amounts of free time, perhaps Mr. Libby can track down the person who nicknamed him "Scooter" and kick his ass.

Ok, I gotta go back to work now.

UPDATE:

Howie says his parents nicknamed him. Well then, that explains how he turned into such a hardened criminal.

And while we're on the subject, I must announce that I am asking Rusty to refer to a special prosecutor in order to investigate WHO LEAKED MY EMAIL TO FILTHY ALLAH! Who, btw, is cooking beef stew today.

1 Uh his parents called him that because as he was learning to crawl he scooted around in some fashion I'm not sure exactly how. But they called him scooter and it stuck. One comment Fitzgerald is a pit bull of a prosecutor. He goes after anyone no matter the party. If this was all he found it makes me feel pretty good. Scooter just made the same mistake Martha did. Keep yer mouth shut silly.

3 And another fine example of our media: As the President finished his short announcement just now, you could hear a reporter in the background shout (I'll paraphrase, but it's pretty much on the mark) "(unintelligible) ...do you find this embarrassing?" I would have turned around and said "FU". But that's just me ;-)

4 Okey, it's official. As with my cup of coffee, I now need the Jawa report to keep me on my game. This is great over here.

7 Vinnie: He first called it "Filthy's Kitchen". Somehow that just didn't sound right. But then, Filthy ain't right ;-)

8 I think the entire CIA should be forced to resign. As well as Sandy Berger,Jamie Gorelick and Madeline Albright. Add Nancy Pelosi and Barbara Boxer just to clean Cal up.

9 Bush should offer Libby a pardon in the tradition of Clinton, but Libby probably doesn't have two million dollars with which to buy a pardon.

10 Dang! Is that what pardons are going for these days?

11 Depends on the crime. I hear Marc Rich got off for a quarter million, but I could be wrong. By the way, has anyone else heard anything about the Marc Rich connection in the oil for food scandal? It wouldn't be surprising to hear that the Clintons were getting kickbacks from Saddam all that time too. The sooner the Clintons are tried and hanged for treason the happier I'll be.

12 Even with all the things the Clinton's have been involved in over the years, I would be very sad to hear that one.
