"If you did have such an occurrence, whether it was in Iran or elsewhere, it would certainly be despicable," US State Department spokesman Sean McCormack said in Washington. "I think it has clear echoes of Germany under Hitler."
What makes me laugh is that our policy towards Iran has clear echoes of Britain under Chamberlain.

Much worse than Hitler is this puppet nut and the mad moolas pulling his strings. Hitler never claimed God was the reason for his stupidity. Muslims are mindless idiots. Just that simply. Long ago I saw the need to outlaw this gutter religion. Stupid libs still think we can reason on a civilized level with Islam. BULLSHIT! Its them or us. The longer the civilized world waits to end this menace to world peace the harder it will be.

What did you expect? The Democrats have been united in opposition to all measures to defend America in any meaningful way since the invasion of Afghanistan began, the Antique Media is carrying on with it's familiar old line that our troops are murderers and torturers who can't win in a land where they're hated occupiers, Wall Street is frightened that military action will drive gas prices to intolerable levels, the world community has probably been bribed again and would like us to fail anyway, and the average American is stunned and bewildered by it all. I hate this...I hate knowing that the US is going to have to get its nose bloodied again before anything will get done. All we can do is wait for disaster while our leaders wring their hands in impotence. Neville Chamberlain indeed!

Well said. But remember to continue the fight. Americans are intitled to as much security and justice as anyone else.

My lefty President has been re dooing Peace in Our Times since 2/10/06 when he supported the terrorists and condemned the Danes. As I said here about 2/12. I voted for a liberal in 04 but he is no worse than JFK just a different kind of lefty. Bush talks the talk but does not have the b*lls to walk the walk! Typical lefty.

Actually, JFK was a "righty" like W. He believed in low-taxes and high deficits in his fiscal policy and aggressive, interventionist foreign policy. JFK practiced domestic surveillance on a level that makes President Bush seem "somewhat ho-hum" about terrorism by comparison. For idealogy, JKF had more in common with George Bush than he did with Ted Kennedy now.
I can't really say how Kerry would have governed. Nobody really knows what he believes, other than that American soldiers are all savages. John F Kennedy was once asked why he had become such a hero in World War II and his response was, "They sank my boat."
Contrast that humility with Kerry throwing his service up in our face at every opportunity and it's clear that John F Kerry is no JFK.
