Polls: Bush Up, Bush Down?
Two polls: One shows Bush and Lurch neck and neck, the other shows Bush over Fonda by 14 points. What's going on here? Two different interpretations: Steve Green and Demosophist.

Thanks for the tip. Steve may have a point, but one reason the "snapshots" are so imprecise is that we have an intermittent avalanche going on. And the moving picture is also inaccurate because it's not capturing the magnitude of the shifts. What this tells us is that the whole mountainside is very unstable. Man, I'm mixing metaphors all over the place, huh?
