Kenneth Bigley Memorial Service Held

Kennethh Bigley was memorialized today in a service held in Liverpool. Bigley was murdered by Abu Musab al-Zarqawi, the man who is arguabley the most dangerous terrorist in the world. Rest in Peace Mr. Bigley. It is my belief that we honor your memory best by hunting down those resposible, and killing them like the dogs they are.

1 God bless the old guy. He truly suffered all those days in captivity. May he rest in peace, along with Armstrong, Hensley and the others.

2 PS OMG! I did NOT know that Bigley's body was never recovered!!!! They cannot even have closure, the poor family!

3 I'll second Rusty and Laura's statements.

6 Rusty, is there not a smiling image of Mr. Bigley to remember him by, other than the horrific last photos? Would be a nice rememberance, anyway.

7 We must understand that according to several contributors (if you care to call them that, I don't) Islam is a religion of PEACE.

8 I see that US troops say all of Fallujah has been taken. If this is the case, where the FUCK is Zarqawi and his cohorts???? They formerly said that they were holed up somewhere in the part that the US hadn't occupied, but since this latest news, they must've have fled...I bet they were gone before the elections were over!

Posted by: Laura at November 13, 2004 06:43 PM (ptOpl)

9 Our Ken is gone now. If it were'nt Ken it may be another 3000 or maybe 300,000 next. Sitting on our hands would not have stopped the next 911. Fallujah was a set up. The enemy were stupid enough to congregate too many in one place and were led to do so for good reason. Zarqawi will be found, dead or alive.

Posted by: qpr jon at November 14, 2004 05:07 AM (CYlYP)

10 qpr jon: You hit the nail on the head. So far we've got over 1200 of them. I honestly think it's downhill from now on.

Posted by: greyrooster at November 14, 2004 08:57 AM (gRK3v)

11 We certainly did get a lot of them. If Bush hadn't invaded Iraq, wonder what Zarqawi and others would have used as an excuse or where they would've ended up?

Posted by: Laura at November 14, 2004 09:25 AM (ptOpl)

12 What conclusions? What every1 feared is becoming true.Falluja is proving to be a disaster.Just imagine Falluja assault was initiated simultaneous attacks have started off in Ramadi and Mosul!!! .The brains of the insurgencies had already run off from Faluuja and only the "Stupid" Jihadi foriegn figters have stayed back and smoked out by the US. This is just going worse.Just imagine a US base in Mosul being looted is last thing to want any1 to hear when their talking about the success of Falluja. Look at the casulaties also last 5 days 50 US soldiers killed. Realities of Urban warfare. A lesson still to be learnt. All deaths going in vain due to "again" poor intelligence.

Posted by: Roopesh at November 14, 2004 10:52 AM (q9wBH)

13 To think that the taking of Falujah is going to be anywhere near the end of things might be foolhardy at this stage. My original impression is that it was a mistake to publicise military intentions. The higher ups of the Tawhid and Jihad groups had probably already left for Mosul and other rebel towns to regroup and consolidate their forces before the initial assault on Falujah took place. What we cannot afford to do is get comfortable. We need our forces to get on the road with these guys and keep with it,tracking these scumbags night and day until they are so worn out from running that they either give up the ghost or get neutralised!

14 Lastest news reports 24 American soldiers killed in the Fallujah cleanup. Over 1200 terorists killed. That's 50 to one in urban warfare. 50 to one and they have had months to dig in. No wonder they take innocent unarmed hostages. They fight like little girls. Scott finally called after 8 days. All is well. He hasn't lost a man. Bless the Marine Corps.

Posted by: greyrooster at November 14, 2004 02:37 PM (PYLjW)

15 Greyrooster..ur update is not right.Latest official is 33 Killed. But if Al Anbar province is included it counts to near 50 .Also this 1200 killed is just a assuption. No official count has been taken.Hopefully only the bad guys were killed.I just Hope but hte videos showing the US campaign does not promise though.

Posted by: Roopesh at November 14, 2004 03:47 PM (1K6Wj)

16 I seriously doubt that we will ever again have the opportunity to kill over 1200 of them in one place again. Even if they are dumb enough (and they are) to congregate in one area again, I'm quite sure the liberal America hating bloggers will advise them against it. We killed a lot of their idiot zealot soldiers. Their leadership of course abandoned them. Our politicians should be hammering on this issue. Zarqawi is too cowardly to fight. He is only good for cutting the heads off innocent people that are tied and held by others. The Zarqawis of the world are nothing without others to do the fighting.

17 ROOPESH: 50 is the number of little girls slaughtered in India this month just because they are little girls and not little boys. Shouldn't you be caring about what happens in your country instead of America. No one on this blog sticks their noses in India's business. Do not stick yours in ours. JUST ANOTHER WANNABE.

Posted by: greyrooster at November 14, 2004 04:10 PM (PYLjW)

18 Rooster: I heard 32 troops of ours. But, yes, lots of insurgents, yet no Zarqawi, damn it. Guess they knew we were coming.

Posted by: Laura at November 14, 2004 04:22 PM (ptOpl)

19 Did I miss something? What was the "big announcement" that the Swiftvets were supposed to make at that DC rally?

Posted by: Laura at November 14, 2004 06:41 PM (ptOpl)

20 Does this guy Zarqawi even exist? Funny how people will buy any propaganda fed to them by the government.

Posted by: bvxcmn at November 14, 2004 07:23 PM (tPtF4)

21 Laura: No one expected to catch Zarqawi in Fallujah. It was pretty much a given that he would leave before the battle started.

Posted by: greyrooster at November 14, 2004 08:24 PM (QpTZy)

22 one of the best consolations we can take from Fallujah is that the Terrorists had to listen to some serious PsyOps: America! F**K YEAH!

Posted by: Editor at November 14, 2004 10:06 PM (uurD1)

23 byxcmn: You'd better get that phone, I think it is Art Bell, he wants you to guest host Coast-toCoast. greyrooster: Glad to hear he is doing well, and that his Marines have fared well. Roopesh: Even if the total were 50, you do realize how incredibly good that is right? Have you ever had any close quarters battle training? Ever studied small unit tactics in an urban environment? No? Our guys have, that's why our casualties are so low and theirs are so high. Of couse the insurgents are kicking up dust elsewhere, but 1200 of them are now kicking up dust in hell, shortly after discovering God is Jewish. Laura: I would opine that, while I would certainly like his family to retain fond memories of Mr Bigley, it is more valuable for the rest of the world to remember him just that way. It is valuable precisley because it makes us uncomfortable, and because we don't want to, and because it hurts us, enrages us, and sickens us. We shouldn't forget that Mr. Bigley deserves at least that much, and the one thing he didn't deserve was to be killed like livestock by sub-human thugs in some dusty basement in Iraq for the sole crime of being non-Muslim. 24 Just got an email from the cousin of a friend serving with special forces,Quote: ''lots of hand to hand shit when up close, air support is hitting these ragheads from so far off theyre smoked before they can even think of surrendering,I cant here shit for the air support guys.Note we are not taking any prisoners, anyone walking towards me white flag, hands in the air or what have you,is dead fucking meat, sorry guys you had your chance to get out of town,if your still here you aint up to no good,I cant get over how fast these motherfucking ragheads can run at the sound of return of fire ''!!!

Posted by: wekno at November 15, 2004 04:55 AM (OUdG0)

25 No prisoners should be the call of the day. ISLAMOFACISTS don't take prisoners. Taking prisoners, sending them to Cuba and later releasing them to fight another day is plain (as the liberals would say ignorant). Better to spend the money the ones that wish to act civilized. Go Marines, get some.

26 QUOTES: of the day. Roopesh: Fallujah is proving to be a disaster. Rest of world: Fallujah is no longer a viable terrorist stronghold. This jerk uses the phase poor intelligence. You want poor intelligence? Look in mirror.

Posted by: greyrooster at November 15, 2004 06:10 AM (aavE0)

27 I cant believe it!I'm sat there driving my car when some pastor something or other comes on the radio and actualy says our troops must be restrained in our acts to repel the insurgents. It is not beneficial in the long run, we want to defeat the bad, not annihilate them, and in time replace them with the good people of Iraq. They are human' beings too after all. Yeah fucking right pops! He goes on to say'How can we ever expect to win the peace afterwards if we are not seen to be acting in accordance with the rules of engagement now. There must not be seen U.S. Marines jubilating at victory, after the awefull scenes at Abu Ghraib when terrible shame was brought to the flag,we must now make extenuous efforts to be seen to be doing the right thing in the eyes of the world, especialy the moslem world.Yeah,I think were doing the right thing pops ,only you wont find an explanation of it in the political correcter type persons code of conduct survival in the real fucking world manual! Jesus christ give me a fucking break!!!

29 What I'd realy like to know is ! - IF THERE REALY ARE ANY GOOD PEOPLE IN IRAQ WOULD YOU MIND TELLING US JUST EXACTLY WHERE THEY ARE SITUATED FOR CHRISTSAKES! AND HOW WERE SUPPOSED TO KNOW WHO ARE THE GOOD GUYS AND WHO ARE THE BAD GUYS. CAUSE THEY ALL LOOK LIKE A LOT OF FUCKING RAGHEADS TO ME!

Posted by: wekno at November 15, 2004 06:52 AM (OUdG0)

30 QUOTE OF THE DAY! The injured combatants from all sides of the former Yugoslavian conflict were given medical aid in a war zone. Are we realy saying, that we from the so called civilised world,Americans in the year 2004 after 2,000 plus years of civilisation, are not prepared under any circumstances to attend to the immediate medical needs of the injured and dying of the enemy in Iraq? YES I GUESS SO YOU DUMB FUCK! EAT SHIT YOU RAGHEAD LOVING LEFTY KERRY LIBERALITES!

Posted by: wekno at November 15, 2004 07:29 AM (OUdG0)

31 Roost: Glad your son is okay. Godspeed. To the ass with the consonant moniker, it's too confusing to type here, although someone else has: FUCK OFF. Propanganda my ass! You don't think Zarqawi is real? Yeah, he's a figment of everyone's imagination, just like Santa Claus and the tooth fairy. Put a towel on and join the insurgents (if there's any of 'em left).

Posted by: Laura at November 15, 2004 08:16 AM (ptOpl)

32 QUOTES: of the day."This jerk uses the phase poor intelligence" The reason why I mentioned poor intelligence is that the every1 knew that giving a beforehand warning that the city was to be attacked would've certainly driven away the "main" goons atleast( not the stupid Jihadis) .But have you ever heard any news anywhere that any top ( or atleast 2nd or 3rd in command... ) person being captured fleeing from the city. The whole city was encirlced and under surveillance But No. Also even before the war has been completed ( at least the City retaken) announcements are already made that the so called "Zarqawi" has escaped.Pathetic is not the word.Who told? what proof? A recent news mentioned that 22 bodies were found in house.Among them was a person who has artifiical leg(does that ring any bells),but hell no he has defintely left the city=concluded. They should have immedialtely proclaimed that he was killed. This would have broken off the Zarqawi network at least for some time period or at least the time they would had a chance to regroup which would have proved very vital for the army. But NO. Now Other cities have started to fall off.You mean to say the HUB has been broken to again simliar HUBS??? The third largest city was left unattended just justifies my statement of the still persisting "poor" intelligico factor. If they calim their intelligence is credible then there must be a serious BUG for sure within it and still they yet to crack it. I'm not trying to gain a bigger point by saying that the intelligence is poor but the fact still remains and is yet to be ACKed. Also Grey rooster..we ain't talking about internal state affairs regarding your earlier point about what's happening in India. My response is [???] what's the relevance here? Also form where did you get the news of 50Girls being slaugtered every month( not a very credible source though).Admit that attrocities are done against girls/women but is america or any other country safer.I doubt.Recent study shows murders(excluding r#pes..etc) have risen to 18,000 a year in US alone.ie 1000 plus month( is that perfect). This has nothing to do with topics discussed here. Also don't try to be a hypocrite about asking me to mind my own affairs. I've never seen Dr.Rusty mention anywhere that only the "we are americans" people are supposed to comment here. Also my mention of US casualties was that I hate the fact of good people in war dying irrespective of from which country they are...whther if it's from my country or another country.and if if its due to poor intelligence it's just a shame.

Posted by: Roopesh at November 15, 2004 09:52 AM (q9wBH)

33 Pretty stupid of Roopesh to think that we (AMERICANS) haven't already thought of and weighed every senario in the cleaning out of Fallujah. The jerk doesn't realize we had to give 200,000 civilians a chance to get out 1st. The revelance is you people cannot solve your own stupid, backward way of life so we sure as hell don't need your comments. Americans call it CLEAN UP YOUR OWN ACT before sticking your nose in our business. You dip shits couldn't control the Muslims in your country so the rest of the world has another ISLAMIC country to deal with. Namely Pakistan. India created the country now the rest of the world has to deal with it. That in itself is proof you people failed in dealing with fanatics so we don't need your advice. Now go worship a 7 headed, 9 legged snakegod or something. I promise not to stick my nose in India's business.

36 NO, but we can pay them to work in telemarketing or customer service positions, taking away the jobs from the Americans. Can't blame anyone but ourselves on that one. It's called GREED. And if they are going to be employed by US corps., at least learn to speak English correctly. If I'm transferred to one of them, I have to hang up. KEEP THE JOBS IN THE USA.

37 Laura : I think were singing from the same hymn sheet on that one! Dont get me wrong, I have every admiration for an Urdu speaker that can speak fluent English,I mean I cant speak a word of Urdu. But thats just it you see, they dont speak it fluently.I have the same problem. After half an hour of them trying to understand what I want then another half an hour for me trying to understand their accent which I cant,I too put the phone down and need a stiff drink.

38 Lotsa of reading here... I may have to put my 2 cents worth in very very soon.... Hey Rooster, I got out of the Navy in April of 2000. Lt. JG.. So to you and your son " Fair Winds and Calm Seas" and I WILL remember him in Rosary today. Andrea

39 Andrea: My wife is admin officer of base near here. 29 yrs 7 mos. Knowing and loving this military officer for 30 years has humbled me. It has been a honor. No one and I mean no one can run a personel dept. as well as she. The old gal would ship to Iraq at the first call. However, our son a Marine Corps O is doing the job for all five in this family. His lack of communication is pissing me off. Have one phone call in last 10 days. I am tracking his unit. Everyday they seem to be in the lead. Last Thanksgiving we had 7 of them for dinner. From E-3 to O-4. All are now in Fallujah. Scott says he and his command is starting to get mad. Never seen him mad since he was 5. I pity someone. America: Home of the finest military men and women in the history of the world. Thank you for your service.

40 Sorry to have created a commotion here. Was not attacking any1 personaly only against the comments mentioned. Also with Gryrooster my prayers are with your family in the warzone. Also against the personal comments made before aganist me it isn't worth a response. Quote:the rest of the world has another ISLAMIC country to deal with. Namely Pakistan" then why make them your partner in the war on terror.irony? Also the response against Indians. Electing Bobby Jindal just shows most of them don't think like you.

41 My brother is in the Air Guard now, he was in the marines for 6 years then transfered over to the Coast Guard for I think 8 years. And he is a police officer in MS. My dad was Airforce, altho he never went into law enforcement. I was also in admin for the navy, weekend warrior. I was on the police force for 6 years. My daughter is now out of college and on the same police force. There is a brotherhood in ALL this and a camaraderie. I never saw WAR time combat mostly training. My dad did. My brother did. I saw and still see a different kind of WAR.. Sometimes I have to re-think objectively on death. Over there and in any combat of WAR it is YOU or THEM, in military you are taught survival and to follow orders... On the police force you are taught keep the peace, but here you can see there was a peace.. Over there the military have to try to MAKE the peace in order to keep a peace. I can understand your fustration with the communication. You would think with ALL the technology that we have now communication would be so simple and quick. You just have to have FAITH in your sons. If you don't you will go INSANE.. My Compassion is for your family and the thousands of military fighting to keep us safe here. I couldn't give a rats ass if the rag heads get their shit together or not. As long as they stay outta here. I wonder if they have learned a lesson yet..?? DON'T SCREW WITH THE USA...... Andrea

42 Roopesh: you idiot. I supported Bobby Jindal during both his campaigns. It's a republican thing. Bobby Jindal is not from India. He was born is Baton Rouge La. He even had the sense to change his given Indian sounding name to Bobby. Bobby Jindal is an American not a Indian living in American as so many like you are. Hard for you people that cannot assimilate to understand that when you act like, dress like, talk like, think like, eat like and American you will be accepted as an American. And not until then. A piece of paper doesn't make an American. Are you silly enough to think we trust Muslim Pakistan? NO MORE STINK OF CURRY IN MOTELS: NO MORE COMPUTER COMPANIES USING OFF SHORE TECHICIANS WHO CAN'T BE UNDERSTOOD.

44 This is getting spooky. Cop in Ms. Pearl River County wouldn't be bad. Ran Sheriff's Campaign in my area. Won both election and re-election. #2 man Major xxxxxxxxxx is good friend. My 18 yr old daughter is student at Southern Miss and unbelieveable at her age is Deputy Cherk of Court for biggest city in County. 3 days on, 2 days off. Then 2 days on, 3 days off. Then study, study, study. City has offered her a scholarship if she majors in criminalogy. Education is key. If these murdering bastards knew how good the American way of life is, they would emmulate us not try and kill good people like Mr. Bigley. Instead they have chosen a path of jealousy and hatred in the name of a gutter religion. Do they really think we would give this up before destroying all of them? Wonder where they got the red jump suits the victims wear?

45 Rooster, World is truly small when you find a common thread. I will email you via your email to tell you what county in MS. I am so excited I can barely stand it. Rifle season is about to open up here on the mountain... Yippeee...... I have been "baiting" ooops I mean feeding deer all summer in my target area. I have my 30-30 all sighted in and the 270 just in case its farther than the planned site. I have got to be the only woman I know that would rather hunt or fish than go shopping!!!! It's truly like a fever... And I have it bad!!! Just ask my hubby. Hell I had my hunting license for big game months ago. He waits till the day before season. Now all I have left to do is tell my boss I won't be here to work for at least 3 days hahaha Andrea

46 I was kinda wondering about the jumpsuits myself. There has to be a trail of getting something like that. And, I doubt you and i are the only ones to think of it... Speaking of indians and I am NOT talking about the native american indians. Down south, we had the influctuation of vietmanese to lower Plaquemines. Then into neighboring New Orleans. Well, if you ever come up this way its india-eetians... hahaha They own and operate, ALL gas stations, hotels, and highway robber stores. Oh and some hamburger franchises. They are the RUDEST, group of people I have met. And in these places you will hardly find one american working for them. They employ their own... And to top it off.. Just like the vietmanese they don't have to pay taxes of any kind for 5 years. Damn I think I wanna REFUND... As I have said before somebody jumps up and down in my mud puddle, I am not racist.. I hate everyone hahaha Andrea
