Mr. K: The French never did crap for America. The Brits were surrounded and outnumbered at Yorktown when the cowardly french merely blocked their escape. The battle & war was over. The French merely came in to assist in the kill when the end was obvious. Notice, how they waited until the very last days of the war before coming to bombard the Brits that were already done for. Let us finally tell the truth. The French wanted cotton. They always start crap then run. Think about it, Mexico, French Indo China, (Vietnam), Algeria, Haiti. They unlike other countries don't give the countries they invaded their freedom. They get their asses thrown out and leave the mess for others. The French suck. Every nation in Europe hates them. Soon the rest of the world will.
