DNC Officially Didn't Happen!

Remember my thoughts on Kerry's speech and my nihilism toward's the whole DNC?

There is nothing to make fun of. Nothing worthwhile is being said. It's worse than that, there is nothing un-worthwhile being said either. The convention is not happening to me. It is not there and no one is writing about it. I feel nothing.
Well, apparently I was right. Kevin & Paul at Wizbang have two posts (No Bump For Kerry/Edwards & DNC Bump = 4pts -- For Bush!) about two seperate polls, both of which show that the nominating convention had absolutely no effect for John F. Ferry.

Combine that with the Newsweek Poll, which will be released tomorrow, showing J Freakin K with a measly four-point bump and I think the obvious conclusion is that the American people just didn't give a rat's ass. The speech didn't matter, Michael Moore didn't matter, Ben Damon or Matt Affleck or whatever gettin it on with JK's daughter didn't matter....even that hottie Sarah Bender didn't matter.

Like I've been saying to everybody: The convention didn't happen.

3 The convention didn't happen because John Kerry's Senate career didn't happen (or it did and no body noticed) and John Kerry's platform didn't happen (or it did and it was meaningless.)

4 What convention?

5 I shall await the momentous Republican convention when I shall no doubt be truly inspired by visionary proclamations by the likes of Dubya, Dick, and Jenna. This election is about sanity in foreign policy, a modicum of fairness in the economy, and at least lukewarm intelligence on the Supreme Court. We have our own fundamentalists here in America, and they are being led by Southern Republicans. It is time for them to go. Can I get a hey, hey and a ho, ho?

6 Good, Your wish shall be soon granted. And if Jenna doesn't 'inspire you', you are a homosexual.
