today. Hey terrorists,
Monir A. Dawoud, M.D., acting president of the 31 year old American Coptic Association, is urging officials investigating the Jersey City murders to call in the hate crime unit of the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
Yesterday, a web site was named that tracks and reveals identifying information of Christian users of Pal Talk, active in religious discussions. In some cases their photos were also posted.
Five law enforcement agencies have been investigating this case; The Hudson County Prosecutor's Office, The Jersey City Police, The Federal Bureau of Investigation, The Immigration and Naturalization Service, and The Federal Office of Immigration and Customs. According to an FBI spokesperson the Federal authorities were called in under the doctrine of "domestic police cooperation". The lead on the case is the Hudson County Prosecutor's Office.
"Adding the FBI Hate Crimes Unit to the investigation would make us feel that nothing was being overlooked," said Dr. Dawoud.
It's been three weeks since the Armanious family was killed in their home; and no leads have been reported in the case. The family was Egyptian born Christians, known as Copts. Mr. Armanious was fervent in his religious beliefs, and it was reported that he spent time in internet chat rooms promoting Christianity, proselytizing, and publicizing the discrimination and persecution Christians suffer in Egypt.
"We have faith in the American system of justice, but the initial conflicting reports and the lack of progress have caused fear to overtake our community. Children are afraid to sleep alone. People are installing double locks on their doors, bars on their windows and sophisticated alarm systems.
The discovery of a web site where Christians had their identities revealed, and were targeted for voicing their religious beliefs makes us, as Christians, fear for our safety, and contributes to the speculation that this was a hate crime."

there have to be legal consequences for this. inciting a riot is a crime, so inciting other crimes must be criminal.

True, but how do you track down these people?

Thanks Rusty, you just gave me an idea. I'm getting ready to apply for my gun license here in the people's commonwealth of Massachusetts. The local police chief can deny it or downgrade more or less arbitrarily. The local offshoot of the NRA suggests describing why you may be in danger, and need a class A permit. In leafy suburban Mass? In short, I feared he would downgrade my license. But as a political blogger...the class A permit should be as good as mine. Now I just hope I don't need it.

To kill the ideas in the heads of savages who believe in a reward of 72 virgins for murder is an impossible task. They must be killed not only for defense from them but also so they can not spawn.

i have to agree with allah sucks balls to some degree. we are at war, and the opponent must be fought. when the war is over we can discuss it civil-ly.
i'd be perfectly happy to have a rational debate with muslims, but when they start targeting me for murder as a result.... i have no problems with killing them.

They have that all wrong, the 72 virgins are not in heaven, they are in hell. We all know that spirits or souls do not do it. So when these myrters go to hell and see the vigins, and that they, the myrters, do not have penises, that's the hell of it.

You are right. Kill the ideas. not the people. So, how do we go about killing their ideas? Move to prove that Allah is a false God and that the "profit" Mohammad was nothing more than a pimp in fancy duds.
Bulldoze Mecca for one yes?

I like the bulldozing Mecca idea,or at least it's peaks my interest. I think it's about time to bring out my "Nuking Mecca" essay again.

Islam doesn't need annihilation, it needs reform or at least its laws do. Instead of praying every night that it goes away (which it won't), try writing to your local mosque and discuss ways to advocate reform. You might actually learn something.
Rusty you say you want to kill ideas but not people...nuking mecca would kill hundreds of thousands.

How about, we offer all muslims a free ham to convert to the way of Jebus. If they don't take the ham and join us in the way of love and peace, then they get put down like that Shiavo chick in Florida.

Islam is incapable of reformation, which would be defined as exposing the original "goodness" in the scriptures and adhering to the edicts.
There is no original goodness or morality in the scriptures. Read it online at www.prophetofdoom.net. It presents the oldest known authentic record of Muhammad's life along with the history of Islam by Tabari and reorders the Qur'an in chronological sequence to correspond with the history. Without this material, Islam doesn't exist. The resultant picture is damning. Islam self-destructs.
The Sunnah and Qur'an taken as a whole is no different from Mein Kampf.
Islam must be eradicated. Close the Mosques and schools as seditious (?) and illegal, cut off the funding. The latter implies taking the oil fields by force.
Failing that, forbid Western assistance in running the oil fields. Sure it's expensive, but the world's safety is in the balance.
And for gosh sakes, quit sending $3 billion a year to Egypt. It's coming back to the free world as arms and ammunition.

I agree with Loren.
For one, if you've ever read the Qu'ran, then you know that it is not friendly to Christians and Jews first and foremost. You would also know that the Qu'ran teaches that Arabs come from the line of Ishmael. Ishmael was the son of Abraham who was conceived by the Egyptian slave, Hagar. Sarah told Abraham to "go in unto her" because she was barren at the time. Later on, Isaac was born of Abraham and Sarah. Isaac was born to two free people. Ishmael to a free man and a slave woman. However, both sons received blessings. But the Qu'ran seems to be spiteful about these things. It reminds the reader that Ishmael was also born to Abraham. As if we should not forget that for some reason. Well, both sons received a blessing. The Torah (first five books of Bible) contains the book of Genesis. In this book it states that God established the everlasting covenant through Isaac. This may be why the Arab community is a bit peeved - maybe they feel robbed? The Qu'ran makes a point to tell the reader that God established the Kaba (Temple Mecca) with Abraham and Ishmael. I really doubt that one. It's like there was animosity toward the Jews existing in the Arab community so they decided to out-trump them somehow if they could.
For two, a lot of the Muslims in Egypt follow a stricter form of Islam. They may even follow the Wahabbi interpretation. Debates on PalTalk with them are proving to them how "blasphemous" U.S. citizens (whether truly christian or simply upset at muslims) are because of how free we speak due to our freedom of speech. Some of the things they've witnessed in debates has caused them to hate Christians more because the Christians "say it like it is". Pull no punches. And why should Christians show regard for a teaching that Jesus has already exposed as false? The Qu'ran would like to inform its readers that believing that Jesus is the Son of God is not only false, but is an excuse to kill a person who believes that. In the New Testament, 1 John explains that those who do not believe that Jesus Christ came in the flesh do not believe in God and are basically antichrists. So...here's the conflict.
It's mostly spiritual.
But...as with Elijah and the Prophets of Baal ..the Elijahs always win.
Writing to a mosque is probably not a good idea. If you read this
Report: Saudis spread hate through U.S. mosques: Propaganda against Jews, Christians 'mainstreamed within our borders' then you'll understand why.

Loren, your arguements cannot be taken seriously if you refer to translations of the Quran from a site called "Prophet of Doom". Try reading a more unbiased translation or learn how to read Arabic yourself.
Besides, modern day religion is based on INTERPRETATION. If you take the writings from thousands of years ago literally then a number of major religions are flawed.
That is why when I say "reform", I mean a more humane interpretation of the religion. I am not calling out for Islam to change the Quran. Just change their intrepretation of it. Specially in the human rights department. All it takes is prominent religious leaders (and the government) to take a stand in SOMETHING. Next time a women is stoned because she was raped, they should denounce the act and prosecute the guilty party. Thats all it would take.
The more time you waste on paranoid thoughts and cry out for the extermination of the most wide spread religion in the world, the less things get done.

Instead of critising Islam, Muslims, or Allah perhaps we should work harder at building up Jesus and loving each other so that Christianity is irresistable. I agree we are at war, but not with flesh and we cannot fight this war with conventional weapons or thoughts. Above all else we must believe in the All powerful All Knowing God that Christians believe in.

A scripturalist (a person who believes that his godhead authored books) will never interpret hateful passages of his "holy books" in a way so as to contradict what is clearly written there.
Therefore I cannot agree that interpretation will solve the problem of rising hatred based on religion.
Yours sincerely,
