What are you TALKING about? Before the US invaded Iraq, the Islamic "imperialists," as you call them, were COMPLETELY suppressed by Saddam's SECULAR regime. Now these guys are overrunning Iraq and having a field day at recruiting.
You guys just just speak in vague moralistic rhetoric about terrorism. You never get down to specifics. And you know why? Because you don't have any.

krj,
you are right, of course. But Saddam had no problem funding Islamist terrorists in other countries (eg, Hamas) and terrorists who would attack US interests (see my post on the Oil for food vouchers).
But, we find ourselves in the position we find ourselves in. The Islamists are NOW in Iraq. Was Iraq a mistake? Possibly. But we're there now and that is where the Islamists are too.

Rusty:
I could'nt agree with you more.
Just wish I had your powers of diplomacy.
Bush had me scared there for a while.
Now we can knuckle down, get out there and kick some serious ass.
