3 Very true. Just look at the sources they cite to support their "facts." Let's face it, most people believe what they WANT to believe, and the Left WANTS to believe the worst about America. 4 Carlos I sometimes wonder if American lefties blame the problems in the world on America in order to put it in the realm of something they can affect. That is, if the problem is simply our being 'bad' or 'evil' than it allows them to be able to 'act' to effect change. The problem of course, is that America is not to blame for all of the worldÂ’s problems. The problem is the tyranny of men who have power and the willingness to use it for their own selfish interest. Just a thought.

5 Hehe, possibly one of the gullible Europeans I guess... Nah, Europeans just don't give a damn, so they pick the side that is living closer to them, so for most of them Middle East and to the Brits you. Also, political activities are part of social studies around here, so loudly expressing any opinion in large groups counts as showing ability to influence society. I don't think many people actually care unless they have close relatives living in U.S. or on holiday near the war zones.

10 The former reputation of being a dandy land that doesn't have anything to do with the rest of the world, or the former reputation of being the place that takes all other countries poor, weak and hated and makes them rich? I seriously doubt you want to go back to any reputations post-WW2.
