4 I feel sorry for people who have such limited intelligence that they refuse to read more in depth articles and books about what is going on right now in the world. Ernie is right, Iraq will *eventually* be a catastrophic failure. We may be able to keep a base open there, sort of like we're doing in Guatenamo, but that will be about it. Eventually, we will return to simply being a trading partner (or rather a consumer) to acquire oil. If Bush really wanted to liberate the world and spread Democracy he should be spending all this money on developing alternative energy sources and dropping food from airplanes instead of 2000 lb. bombs.
