New Margaret Hassan Video Emerges

Al Jazeera calls the film 'too graphic' to air, by which they mean it makes the jihadis look like the animals they are. This is the third video released of Hassan and the first one which gives a definite timeline. The terrorists now warn that if their demand that all women prisoners are not released in Iraq, Hassan will be killed. Margaret Hassan is Care International relief director in Iraq. Though Irish by birth, she is married to an Iraqi and had been a resident of Baghdad for years. Care International openly opposed the US led invasion of Iraq and the US sanctions during the Clinton administration.
UPDATE: Just learned via reader Laura and from Digger that the threat to kill Hassan was much more specific than earlier noted. The terrorists have threatened to turn Hassan over to Zarqawi for beheading within 48 hours if their demands are not met. Call it death by Zarqawi.

They make demands they KNOW will not be met. The guise of using kidnappings and beheadings in response to the occupation only helps them justify their sociopathic actions. The reason they do this is out of a simple desire to kill people. It has nothing to do with occupation, or they would let all of the non-combatants go.
It is an excuse to feed their hunger for murder and pain. It will end only when the sands of Iraq are turned to glass. Oops, did I say that out loud?

Ireland Online (Hassan was born in Ireland) is claiming the "condition" is that she fainted while pleading for her life and then the terrorists through water on her.
Why Al-Jazeera wouldn't air that is beyond me, but I'm guessing it has to do with them looking bad by pushing some old lady around (I guess beheading isn't as offensive).

What I keep thinking is that harming this person, kidnapping her at all, equates with shooting yourself in the foot. I mean, am I missing something here? How many Iraqi kids lives has she been instrumental in making at least a tiny bit better? How many meals fed to the hungry? Medical care? Clothing? It defies logic as to why they would target her at all.

This whole thing really baffles me. We are the superpower of the WORLD.....the freaking US of A. Why the hell can't we pinpoint these bastards? We have the most advanced intelligence in the world along with one of the most sophisticated arsenals ever assembled. And yet we can't find a few cameljockeys?? Remember when we invaded Iraq and CNN had those awesome videos of Baghdad being lit up like a Christmas tree??? We need to continue with an offensive attack. Invade Al Jazeera and get some answers from them. Then do the same to that company that produced the recent Usama Bin Laden tape. There are contacts there that can give us answers. We need to stop being such pussies about it and freaking TAKE NO PRISONERS.
Also, in response to the beheadings. We need to respond with something that will open their eyes. Release the women prisoners. Let them run free for about 100 yards and then have a sniper put a bullet in their head. Video tape that and send it to them. If they execute one American...we execute 25 cameljockeys we have in custody. They are doing us absolutely no good in prison. Kill them all one by one by one. We will never win in this situation if we keep doing what we have been doing.
Instead of Bush (Kerry) saying "we will not give in to terrorist demands", we need to say F*CK YOU and start bombing the shit out of them. We need get back into the habit of massive airstrikes because, right now, WE ARE LOSING....

Laura has a point about where our money goes. In our socal area, I can not find a business selling gasoline, or many other products I use daily, that does not have a middle eastern person at the cash drawer. Where is the war? On the corner? This is what really scares me. Why can't the store owner be my neighbor or my cousin? None of the small business owners within hundreds of miles of here are from the U.S.?

Why do we allow shit like this to happen? I don't get this picture: We have to go over THERE for jobs (Armstrong, Hensley, Bigley) because all our jobs are going to the foreigners! Well, if we can get those jobs overseas, why not give them to their own people, then everyone can stay the hell in their own country and work.

that Margaret Hassan should be freed. The news states that he said if she hasnt been found to be collaberating then she should be freed. Here's hoping this is true and she gets released asap

Or have I got it wrong? I thought women in Iraq had good education and rights to jobs in high places. When you have psychotic groups that cut off innocent people's heads then it's not as if a country can have a soft leader to keep them out.
