Iraqi Police Officer Beheaded Near Green Zone
An Iraqi Police officer has been beheaded near the Green Zone in Baghdad. His name was Imad Jabouri. I found this
buried in an article on the escalating violence in Iraq. It should be noted that violence seems to be turning away from US military targets, to Iraqi police. A trend we have been seeing for some time:
Police officials disclosed Thursday that Imad Jabouri, a lieutenant colonel in the Iraqi traffic police, was grabbed a day earlier from in front of his home in the Sabaa Bour neighborhood in northern Baghdad by several armed men as he left for work.
The men beheaded Jabouri, who directed traffic at a busy intersection in front of the Green Zone, and fled with his police badge and pistol, according to a police official who declined to be named for security reasons.
"Those men cut off his head, and this is the way they kill the people who they think are spies and agents," said the official, who said Jabouri's absence from work Wednesday prompted inquiries into his whereabouts.
"I'm afraid they will use this badge in their next operations."

The black outfits, the masked faces, and the culture of brutal beheading doesn't exist in a vacuum. Most of brutal beheadings and slaughter houses are probably commited by Saddam's former Fedayeen. The Fedayeen are WORSE than the SS of the Nazis. They paraded with RPG's on their shoulders, goose-stepping and dressed in black, or white. They practiced simulated beheadings on each other, and to prove their ferocity, they would tear a live dog to pieces with their bare hands and teeth. You don't believe me? See the video clip here:

Click on "watch video", then click on Clip 2. I know, PBS is one of the bastions of liberalism like "NOW with Bill Moyers", but if this clip doesn't convince you of the brutality of Saddam's regime, then I don't know what will.

Oh God, I read in this morning's paper that an AP reporter has gotten pics some stupid wife of a Navy Seal officer posted on a website, of abuse of Iraqi prisoners! These damned reporters should stay the hell away from the war!
I'm sure this is gonna open up yet another can or worms, shades of Abu Ghraib.

I'll pass on the dog part. As a big animal lover, I can't even watch those emergency vet shows on TV!
I did see something on a website, where they were pulling this dragging this guy on the ground, one person had one arm, the other had the other arm, and so on for the legs. In the vid you see one arm eventually torn away...the guy was ALIVE.
