Hostage Execution Watch

Two from Turkey kidnapped today. One American Journalist (with dual French citizenship) and his Iraqi Translator also nabbed.

Luckily, two more Lebaneese hostages were released--they were both truck drivers.

In other hostage related news, India is frantically negotiating with terrorists. And a woman, held hostage in the Muslim state of Kashmir relates her story of torture and rape by the Religion of Respecting the Dignity of Womanhood.

1 There's nothing at the Terrorism Website since everything is linked there but no info. I think you should really finish your posts yourself plus I think it's time to add some good things going on in this country instead of focusing on just the bad stuff. ~C

2 I'll let others focus on the good stuff. My focus has always been the broader war, which is against Islamists. I am much less optimistic about Iraq than many of my colleagues on the right.

3 I know Rusty but there are some very good things that are also going on that no one ever covers and which many people should donate to thee charities, just like the Red Cross asking people to send money, not food or clothing. Out of this tragedy, some good things have popped up - such as the "Walk of Honor" et al. I do think awareness of our National Guardsmen and reservists who get plucked out of society, out of their homes and from their families, out of their job or small business. Not only WE but our government should be taking care of these men and their families. I know you are all reports but every once in awhile you should do a public service by noting these foundations for these men and their families or at least LINK to them. The Guard and the Reservists are sacrificing MORE then enlisted men and they deserve our credit. Our Government is NOT doing them any assistance and this situation MUST change. ~
