Might I be so bold to remind you that one of the convicted Bali bombers which killed 202, including 88 Australians, was recently seen in a coffee shop with his Indonesian jailor? That is called "getting tough on terrorists" I guess in that part of the world. Oh, and when they indicted another member of Jemaah Islamiyah last week for his part in the Bali bombing, it caused a riot. VOA:

"Naturally enough, our suspicion turns to Jemaah Islamiyah," he said. "We had some advice a few days ago of possible terrorist attack in Jakarta focusing on Western-style hotels. And we changed our travel advisory to take that into account but we didn't have any information on a specific attack on the Australian Embassy at this time."
