Nepalese readers throw down the gauntlet! Awesome. Just awesome. They invite the Jihadis to come and fight the Gurkhas (Gorkhalis) in open battle. See below (some pretty salty language).

Fucking Eh. Anyone who knows the history of the Ghurkas knows that Nepal, as small as it is, is on the short list of "Do not fuck with" countries. The Ghurkas are among the fiercest, bravest soldiers in the world, and if Nepal sends them to Iraq, Doom on You, Al Sadr.

Good, Lord, Rusty, there's freaking tons of stuff. They've fought for the British for generations. In WW2, axis troops were known to desert just at the news that Gurkhas were in the area. They had a game they would play, where they'd try to slit the bootlaces of enemy sentries without alerting the sentry to their presence. I read a story of a British officer who smugly told a Gurkha Sgt. heading out on patrol to bring him a German officer's watch. the Gurkha complied -- with the German officer's severed hand still attached. The father of a friend online was a British officer, back in the 80's he was leading a patrol of gurkhas on border watch in Hong Kong. They crested a hill and saw a Chinese Battalion on manouvers below them. The less-than-20-man patrol observed them, and the comment from one Gurkha was "Even odds." They are some of the meanest, toughest, hardest fighting sons of bitches on the planet, and their allies fear them almost as much as their enemies. Pissing of Nepal may be the single most idiotic thing the islamofascists have done to date.

Just a note. The Gurkhas fight with the British army, even though they remain Nepalese and are recruited from there. The Brits boast about 3000 of them (and they're right to boast!).
And they're already in Iraq according to a Weekly Standard article I found. I put some linkage up on my blog, Rusty, if you want to look it over.

The Gurkha Regiment of the British Army fights with the British Army. But the Gurkhas are an ethnic group in Nepal bigger than that regiment. I think the baddies now have a tiger by the tail. But thanks for the info, Jimmy.

Right now the British have 3,400 Gurkhas under arms. At their height, the empire deployed some 120,000 in 40 battalions during World War II.
If I had the wherewithal, I wouldn't mind sponsoring some ex-Gurkhas on a trip back to Iraq to extract their pound of flesh.

My Brother fought with the Gurkha in WW2. He had nothing but good to say about the fighting spirt of the Gurkha.
But in the mean time please get this out to the terrors.
Every time a terror murders anyone who is a non combant, we have been gathering a few of ourselves. Then we strip them naked and toss them alive into a pig pen with very hungry pigs.
We shall do this every time! We were only able to toss two in for the brave Nepalese who were slaughtered.
Maybe if you get the word out to these turds, they will understand they are not the only ones that can be burtal.

WOW! I'll pitch in to send them to Iraq. I'll even spread the word. I'll do whatever it takes. Maybe I should not tell the Nepalese that after these 12 were so brutally murdered, they beheaded the other eleven left over. Somewhere there is a 17 minute video that shows all of it from beginning to end.
May God not have mercy on the killer's souls but may he protect those that are killed in innocence and any of those who go after the killers of these and all people.

What happened to your country men should not be forgiven. You have a proud tradition of being great warriors and I have heard personally about your strength as fighters from a former French Forgien Legion soldier. You should assemble a strike-force of your best fighters and take out all the head cowards on your own. Get in, strike and get out. All these animals understand is BRUTE FORCE!

The British owe Gurkhas debts that money can never repay. Now it is time for British forces to arrange opportunities for Gurkhas to avenge their slain countrymen.
Since Gurkhas are the world's most chivalrous warriors, Iraqi civilians need not fear, but terrorists and other combatants had better be getting their affairs in order. When they hear the battle cry, "Gorkhali aiyo!" it will be much too late!
Let the British keep providing these opportunities until the terrorist "leadership" apologizes and pays generous reparations to the families in Nepal. Then honor will have its due.

Hi I am a pure bred Gurkhali from Nepal, and I am really humbled by all the posts by everyone, I am really mad by the cowardly actions by the militants who murdered my fellow brothers in Iraq
They tried to scare us or something??? well they made a mistake, They made every gurkhali Mad. Hiding their face and killing helpless innocent gurhhalis shows their cowardness. They had no reasons whatsoever to harm them, but they did the unthinkable, I would love to find out what the Gurkha Army all around the world Thinks and is doing about this present situation.Does any one have any information yet?? I pray that The Gurkha Army be deployed to Iraq so that they can avenge the crime. The pain felt in my heart mixed with rage is now going to end only when justice is done by the blade of the khukuri.It is Our nature to look in the eyes of death and never step back,we have fought for others sake AND NOW ITS VERY PERSONAL. These insurgents, militants or whatever they call themselves are all "terrorist" killing innocent people of all nationalities. They are cowards that has no balls to fight like a man. They kidnap innocent people using guns, get this..they need to use guns to kidnap harmless people and behead them because they are afraid to get their ass kicked by them. By the way I'm daily listener of the bbc nepali sewaa but it is so boring in turms of the news time . like hindi it should take the time more than 45 min and it is also not sufficient time at all and its corrospondents in Nepal are not active as well . they r all of the radio nepal and they never send the true news at all

well, i just do not understand these terriost people, have they got anything to give to this world, have they invented or donated even when they are rich to the needy , all i hear from these people is just killing and killing and hate, i think they should be wiped out completly. i wounder about their god alla, have their their quran it is written only to hate people or something good , at least a bit ,
And other thing if u asked any muslim that what ever happen in iraq about nepalese killing etc and etc they will not say that it was wrong straight they will give some reason to defend those killer,
