What I'd really like to know is how we can expect the Ummah to exercise reasoned judgment when our own press refuses to do so? In the words of the late Desi Arnaz: "Can somebody please 'splain that to me?"

Why no mention of where those Korans came from? And the rugs? and the hats? and the oil? and the signs pointing to Mecca?
Or is that the "silly balance" Linda Foley mentioned?

The media is nothing more than a propaganda organ of the enemies of America, and have been for a long time now.

Improbulus Maximus, I couldn't agree with you more...although when they aren't doing that, they're rotting children's' brains with advertising and crappy content.

Claire's point was that we go out of our way to provide the prisoners with all the discomforts of home, and if the slightest teensiest accident happens, the media treat it like World War V.
The media have finally entered a closed loop. They're no longer distorting or misreporting what happens, they're making it up completely.

Note that the person above who commented under the name "Demosophist" is an imposter. His URL is: 207.69.138.6 and listed an email address of dsred1295@aol.com. I'll give you a couple of hours to explain why you're posing as me, but I can't think of a single reason why you shouldn't be banned. Adopting someone else's name is simply not allowed.

Whoever the imposter is, he's the same person posting under the name "Cornell." The email addresses appear to be faked, but the URL is consistent. Whoever you are, consider yourself banned, and your posts will be deleted.
