Air America Begs For Bucks

It seems that Air America is in real trouble now. Ladies and Gentlemen The Jawa Report will be taking predictions on just how long they will last. Post your prediction below. First prize will be your choice of an original R5D4 or Death Star Droid action figure. No you canÂ’t have Yoda, Luke, Power Droid or the original Darth Vader carrying case they are mine all mine. Radio Equalizer:

In what appears just short of outright panhandling, a desperate Air America Radio is now begging listeners for cash donations.

1 They'll be off the air by Christmas.

2 Libs and tote bags go together like Tim Burton and Johnny Depp. Gone by St. Patrick's Day.

3 I'm predicting a Soros bail out. They will not go off the air.

4 I'm going to predict that Soros will try to bail them out, realize they're a money hole, and bail out of the bail out. Their last day on the air will be on April 1st, and the last remaining stations to go off the air that day will be here in Eugene, New York, and Austin, Texas. Garobuffalo will cry, Frankenliar will rage, Randy Rhodes will take a final potshot that goes over the line into sedition and find her ass in Gitmo, and the boradcast day will end with Barbara Streisand's rendition of "Nearer my Gaia to Thee".

5 Umbrage, Rusty. "Umbrage," I say! I smacked Air Idiot's copping NPR's fundraising schtick yesterday afternoon.
I sent a note to Maloney and the clown turned around and ripped me off.

7 I hope Soros bails the goofs out. That will be more wasted money by him, and less to spend on the next campaign. For some reason campaign laws don't apply to Soros. Go figure.

8 Furious George will keep it up and running at least throughout the '06 elections. Then when they lose miserably, and only then, will he pull the plug.

9 I think Air America will get a big shot in the arm from the Peter, Paul and Mary fundraiser. After Puff the Magic Dragon, Mary will put down her Bratwurst and double fudge chocolate cake and choke out “Blowin in the Wind” one more time. The combination of her huge girth and complete physical decay will force Mary to struggle to get the words out and breath in enough air to keep her massive frame oxygenated. This scene will leave even the most hardened conservative in a true state of giving. The same people who poneyed up in the 80’s to support the Sandinistas will throw their change in the guitar case once again. This shot in the arm should keep Air America going until ….Jan 27th 2006.

10 Isn't it amazing how communist propaganda cannot survive when subjected to the democracy of the market? And yet, idiots like Perfesser Nostril Von Peckersnout refuse to see this. Could it be because liberals are anti-democracy? Naaahhh...

11 That tote bag is sucky-looking. This is really just wishful thinking, but I think November 9th is a good day for AA to go teets up.

12 Maureen, I was thinking face down, and six-feet under!

13 Limbaugh said it best, conservatives earn money, Libs raise it.

14 Big mistake on my part: Peter, Paul and Mary sang “Where Have All The Flowers Gone. Ole yellow teeth Bob Dylan sang Blowing in the Wind. Sorry BOB and PPM. I can almost hear the strumming guitar and the beautiful voices at the fundraiser ….. Where have all the accounts payable funds gone? Long time passing Where have all the cash on the warehouse credit line gone? Long time ago Where have all the money from the Boys and girls club gone? Gone to graveyards every one When will they ever learn? When will they ever learn?
