Shortly after the appearance of the threat to attack Denmark, in October 2005, a series of arrests occured throughout Europe. We suspect that there may be a link of some sort between the individuals rounded up in Bosnia, the UK and Denmark in late October, and the person or persons currently issuing threats as "The Glory Brigades of Northern Europe".Among the global jihadi community, there are few names more recognizable than Zubbeiddah1417, the person behind the artfully made IMC videos.
As long as we're speculating on who is behind the threats made by a tiny minority of misunderstanderers of Allah's words on killing blasphemers (recall that the original threats were over a cartoon), perhaps it isn't a stretch to imagine that there may be a connection to a cell of potential jihadis in Sweden?

Army of Ansar al-Sunnah--In SWEDEN!?!?!
Interestingly enough, more than a few IMC videos featured the work of The Army of Ansar al-Sunnah, a Kurdish jihad group in Iraq responsible for dozens of hostage murders. The Army of Ansar al-Sunnah is thought to be the Kurdish offshoot of the now largely defunct Army of Ansar al-Islam. The Arab offshoot was Abu Musab al-Zarqawi's Tawhid and Jihad--now known as al Qaeda in Iraq.
UPDATE: And just when I thought this couldn't get any more interesting, Tribeca notices that the symbol used by the Glory Brigades in Northern Europe are much more similar to The Information Jihad Brigades'.
