I was able to catch Mr. Bush's speech via a stream. He presented the Terrorists as they are. But then again we already knew that. Below find a link to the entire transcript and a few choice quotes. If anyone anywhere has any doubt about the GWOT
.
You know Mr. President your approval rating has been low lately. I for one have been watching and the last year you have been right on. While others are running away I for one am impressed. The best sign that a true genius has entered the world is that everyone hates him. You have taken the fight to the enemy. You have preserved the balance on the Supreme court. You have demonstrated your love for this country. You have so far avoided the nasty politics and corruption of the last administration and the Congress. Good job, Good speech and may God bless you too sir.
Another good quote form the speech.
1
Amen. Rock on Mr. President!!! AMERICA F YEAH!!!!

Are you saying Kofi has his head up his ass? Kofi says we need to compromise and negotiate with the Muslimfascists. And the French agree as does Hugo Chavez and Fidel.
Are we to "got it alone" (quoting Sens Reid and jBoxer here)again. With only a few dozen English speaking countries to fight with us.
Oh I forgot the Italian Red Cross(more like Cresent).
I am saying Kofi's head is up his ass. So far his eyes are brown.

I agree with what the president says through and through, but the president needs to stop talking and start acting.
Yes, I know a lot of terrorist die in every battle and our soldiers are doing a far better job than the MSM gives them credit for, but there are a lot of things the Bush adminisraion could have done and needs to for this ware to be one.
For one, Bush should have done as Dr Michael Savage suggested and level Fallujah and sent a message to the filthy terrorist scum that behead our civillians. I say the Bush admin needs to start fucking these terrorists up. They can start with the execution of John Walker Lindh, Richard Reed, and Mousaoui.
For two, as Dr Shackleford has pointed out many times, the propaganda war is being completely dominated by our enemies. Terrorist appeasers like Cindy Sheehan and her socialist backing groups need to be tried under a new sedition act. That might be too extreme but something needs to be done to at least begin to fight back in the propaganda war.

Two words folks ..... NEUTRON BOMB !!!!!
Okay make that plural, BOMBS. Simple, you come across a town that is just crawling with these vermin and their sympathizers just back off, drop one in and bring in the dozers a couple of days later for a nice mass burial. Then we get on the news and ask "Who's Next? You want a piece of this, come get some !!!!" kinda like "We've come here to kick ass and chew bubble gum, and we're all out of bubble gum"

GWOT - Major Strategic Foreign Policy Speech Just Delivered By President Bush
Washington, D.C.
President Bush swings from the hips today and delivers barn burner speech calling a, "shovel a shovel." He clearly announces for once the GWOT is a war of ideologies. For the first time he identifies we are at war with an ideology some have called, ". . . evil Islamic radicalism; others, militant Jihadism; still others, Islamo-fascism."
This is the speech the Blogos has been waiting to hear for a long time. Much of what was said is old news to us but the American people are still clueless because of the lack of reporting of the real issues by the MSM.
The Blogos needs to spread President Bush's words far and wide to ever corner of the earth so that the enemy clearly knows we will not shrink from the battle and its days are numbered!

me some respect. especially after I spent ten minutes dumping all the blank lines for you. Usually I could care less today I'm on my last nerve and you touched it.

"Evil men, obsessed with ambition and unburdened by conscience, must be taken very seriously -- and we must stop them before their crimes can multiply."
It's about time Bush admitted his platform and warned us to stop him before he goes any further. I mean, his crimes are multiplying as we speak. His ambitions are unchecked. His (lack of) conscience is money and power-based.
Deliberately lying to the US and the world to start a war is probably the biggest straw. Just think how many people would still be alive if the administration had never cooked up the intelligence to fake danger of WMD and connection between Iraq and AQ. We wouldn't be in this rediculous-scale warlike situation, there wouldn't be millions of terrorists spawning right now in all corners of the muslim world.
This problem could have been contained much more efficiently if we had stayed out of Iraq.
Soon we won't be able to get enough recruits for the armed forces to supply all the war-mongering Bush wants to carry out. There are only so many patriots, only so many poor people with nowhere else to turn but the armed forces. Most of them are in the mix already. How many more can we get? Katrina refugees may supply a few thousand more, but our poor ignorant masses are almost all wearing camo now. We need to crank up the "no child left behind" program quick so we can turn out more dumb-ass low-income drones to go spill some blood for the big business executives on capital hill. Where will their great grandchildrens' inheritences come from? What ever are we to do?

Question is, does Question have a clue that what's at stake here is NOT a few patriots lives. It's about the idea of democracy, the belief that all people should be free from the whims of a despotic ruler or his thugs. Whether it was King George, Hitler, Pol Pot, Stalin, Mao, Saddam, The Taliban....... they just keep coming, but we MUST continue to fight them AND those like Jason and Question and Ms Sheehan... et al, that would roll over and just close their eyes, or worse, . These people have the same moral fortitude as Vidkun Abraham Lauritz Jonssøn Quisling or Arthur Neville Chamberlain. "Oh if we just give them what they want they will leave us in peace"... Bullshit. The only thing to stop that kind of tyranny is force, hit hard, take no prisoners, spare no lives, for they surely wouldn't spare yours.

Bush is indeed right about the Islamicist terrorists.
But his leadership in domestic affairs is now threatening to tear his party apart!
How will the United States continue and win the war with the terrorists if the Republicans are destroyed and the anti-national security Democrats are running the government?

Dave has a good point. I know the leader always takes the heat but congress seems to be the source of many problems too. I think we've woke up from the Casey Jones/Susy is ready stuff that I've been worried about it for a bit. It's really a buildup of time and can't be avoided in politics. The pendulum shall swing and shall to the middle for both sides. Moderates accepted bush and and helped out the evangelical right now it's time to call in a favor and honestly work to fix what we can. It'll be OK. The dems can't put up a way left candidate and the Republicans will have to move center and watch it's wallet. It's possible that not to take full advantage of Right dominance like we did is a waste because the swing back is inevitable. Should the dems have found themselves sitting on both houses and the oval office they would be just as bad or worse.
but they haven't found themselves there have they....Haaaa!!!!!!

It is certainly getting monotonous hearing and reading the democrat/liberal diatribes. They have NO solutions to any problems that face the U.S. so all they do is carry out personal attacks, insults, and garden variety whining.
Being a democrat/leberal must be a miserable life.

"Question" posts a very provacative message. However, it is just so damn pathetic it just can not be taken seriously. Psychologists tell us we use only 10% of our brain. Therefore, there is a 90% chance "Question" uses none of his/hers.
I think the best part of "Question" ran down the crack of his/her mamma's ass and ended up as a brown stain on the matress.

Bush didn't end his speech with, "Therefore, I've ordered military strikes on Syria and Iran and other nations who harbor terrorists." So, not sure what the point of it was or why everybody thinks it was great...
Time for the big stick...

Usamabintouring - you rubbed the lamp and DSM grants you three wishes!
Bush is a scumbag..all-powerful and all-knowing, yet on drugs. Creator of enemies and desperate to have them strike us, Bush and his fighting Klanrooster, Impies and other rejects fight with everyone else's blood and blame the loser cave-dweller. Sad. Chimp's speech is a fucking senseless joke and the world's press is having a blast ripping our country a new hole.
Chimp is the terrorist, like Bin, yet his troops are foreign fighters, fighting iraqis at 6,000,000,000 a week!
Keep bombin those Euphrates bridges, Georgie, the Spaniards flipped and are comin' for Lexington!

You know Mr. President your approval rating has been low lately. I for one have been watching and the last year you have been right on. While others are running away I for one am impressed.
It's an excellent speech, but it's probably too little too late. They seem to have the idea that a good speech every once in awhile is all that's needed to keep Americans engaged. This speech was actually intended for before Katrina, but was put on the shelf for awhile. I'm glad this President understands the nature of the fight, but it's somewhat ironic that he refers to it as a "war," when he hasn't really communicated that to the public, or asked them for anything much besides compliance. And that just doesn't qualify as leadership.
The country just isn't mobilized yet for a war, and my recent experiences with FEMA tells me that we aren't even mobilized for natural disasters. FEMA is a lot more concerned, for instance, with it's image in the press than with ramping up its capabilities and honing its planning and execution. I honestly don't know what to make of this, but it seems dysfunctional as hell. I've intended to write about it, but it's so demoralizing I haven't been able to.
The Bush Administration seems to be great about devising and promoting grand strategies, and awful at scrimaging their way toward the goal. They aren't up against a very good team, but they still spend most of their time in their own territory, relying on the long pass.
