Despite semi-coherent bluster from Senator Teddy Kennedy (how can anyone from Massachusetts stand the embarrassment of being represented by this blivit?), the vote for cloture on debate of the Alito nomination has passed. Certainly, this will be much to the consternation of the Left's lunatic fringe, which spent the weekend
in an attempt to garner support for a filibuster.

Is this Allito thing still all about abortion? I mean, they aren't even taking it away, they just want the children to have their parents consent. My god, you can't even get a beer or a pack of cigs at 17...why should you be able to decide on a major medical procedure? Did anyone catch Kennedy blowing a gasket on the senate floor yesterday? It was drama at its acme. And Dingy Harry spent 20 minutes browbeating Bush making him sound worse than Foulmood Almondjeans and preaching doom and gloom. You could almost see black clouds and lightning forming over his head.
