Alito Filibuster Defeated, 72-25

Despite semi-coherent bluster from Senator Teddy Kennedy (how can anyone from Massachusetts stand the embarrassment of being represented by this blivit?), the vote for cloture on debate of the Alito nomination has passed. Certainly, this will be much to the consternation of the Left's lunatic fringe, which spent the weekend harrassing Senators in an attempt to garner support for a filibuster.

I'll let Cartman express my feelings to the moonbats.

Cartman: Yes! Yesss!! Oh, let me taste your tears, Libs! Mm, your tears are so yummy and sweet.

3 Dunno, hondo, several of the Dems said that they would vote for cloture, but against confirmation.

4 Its not the final actual vote yet - never get ahead of yourself - there's always room for Murphy's Law.

6 I don't see why you'd want to ban this moron. He's our best argument against muslim immigration. You should keep him around as exhibit A.

7 >>>"I'm Catholic" That's a frightening thought. Ok, so why are you posting that garbage here? There are a billion blogs on the net, why are you haunting this one? Just curious.

8 Is this Allito thing still all about abortion? I mean, they aren't even taking it away, they just want the children to have their parents consent. My god, you can't even get a beer or a pack of cigs at 17...why should you be able to decide on a major medical procedure? And while I'm on the subject...how come there's always like a million lesbians in front of abortion clinics...this has nothing to do with you...don't get me wrong...I like lesbians...but, you sleep with other women...that's the part I like!

9 The boat to political irrelevancy is boarding, and the libtards are stampeding the gangplank. These are good time.

10 I'm changing my final guess to 61-39. Hondo, you underestimate these ideologues on the left side of the aisle. Did anyone catch Kennedy blowing a gasket on the senate floor yesterday? It was drama at its acme. And Dingy Harry spent 20 minutes browbeating Bush making him sound worse than Foulmood Almondjeans and preaching doom and gloom. You could almost see black clouds and lightning forming over his head. Who needs soap operas when we have CSPAN?

11 You smell that? Do you smell that? ...Liberal tears, son. Nothing else in the world smells like that. I love the smell of Liberal tears in the morning. The smell, you know that gasoline smell, the whole Senate. Smelled like... VICTORY. ...
