Great Moments in Black Muslim History
You have got to see this video made by
Bryan Preston and
Michelle Malkin. The two of them went down to the Danish embassy to film the New Black Panther Party's Malik Zulu Shabazz leading a demonstration over the Muhammed cartoons. Let's just say it's funny, and leave it at that.
Notice, though, his problem with geography? This goes way back. For instance:
They [the J-O-Os] have stolen land from the Palestinians, killing and murdering the Palestinians on that landÂ….In truth, the land belongs to the African, who was pushed out of Palestine, Egypt and Northern Africa."
Incidentally I once had a conversation with a guy in the Nation of Islam who was convinced Israel was in Africa. I happened to have a map on me and broke it out. As far as I know, that guy still believes that Rand-McNally was paid off by the Zionists.
Below: Everything you ever wanted to know about Malik Zulu Shabazz, from the

"We will not allow some cracker named Bill Clinton ..." But .... I thought Bubba was our first black President?
"The New Black Panther Party has determined that Zacarias Moussaoui is a Black Man, an African." Gee. I wonder what his first clue was.
This is the first time I've heard of the guy. To call him an idiot would be an understatement. His family must be proud.

If by nature you were made in truth there would be no end to you. Because truth has no end.
You use our wisdom to make you the ruler and added falsehood. You have a bastard like language. Take an airplane for instance, Who made the plane. Where did you get the idea (from the bird) Who made the materials? Who made you?
Our Black People are called to return to their own and to heed the warning of The Warner that these are the Days of judgment of this world (white man's world). They are nearly insane and their brains can hardly receive the warning when you try to tell them that this world's life (devil's world) is short-lived. They think that that which the devil offers to them is better than that which Allah (God) offers to them. Therefore, they seek a place in the devil's world, They already have a place in his world.
THEY make a mockery of the Muslim, the bearer of truth. The Muslim disbelieves in the devil and in untruth. THIS PARTY (the Muslims) are gradually raised to honor and eminence in the very eyes of the mockers and disbelievers. THE hearts and minds of the disbelievers are so absorbed in the evil and indecency of the world of the white man that their ears cannot be reached with truth.
THE civilization of the white man will bring them to the most filthy, unclean and disgraceful practices that man and woman ever practiced since they have been on the face of the earth. THE leading Black educated class is walking around in civilization like a jungle savage, half nude. They are using drugs and other means to keep them from recognizing and respecting the knowledge of a refined society of civilization.
IT causes Anger to the God of Righteousness for anyone to make mock of His Righteous Servants. In the days of old, He Punished all who mocked His Servants. The mockers of this modern day will not escape the same punishment.
THE Black man and Woman who disbelieve in decency and righteous practices do so because of advantages.I WARN you that the Holy Quran bears witness that this world's life of sport and play and gaiety among you is short lived. It will soon turn into weeping and moaning to those who live such lives.
THROUGHOUT the earth, and especially in North America . . . the earth and its inhabitants are hourly being destroyed.
THERE is no hope for a future in the enemy of righteousness for the Black Man and Woman. You cannot run today and get strength from the devil against Allah (God) and His Truth. NO!
TODAY, the devil cannot get help for himself, so how can he help you against the God of Power? The devil is your open enemy and he would not help you if he could.
TURN to Allah (God) and Come follow me!
ELIJAH MUHAMMAD.
TO THE SO CALLED "WHITE MAN"
You were made in gravity. We were made before there was gravity. then we ordered the gravity. Do you bring the water down or do we bring it down. Do you take the sun and purify the water before it comes back or do we. Then why don't you give credit to Allah. Show me something you have that you didn't get from us. Did not you find remnants of our civilizations buried in the sand?
God has taught me how to contend with the devil and I want to teach you.
Here in the Western Hemisphere, in America, where there is 22 million original black people living whose fathers suffered slavery for around three hundred long years, and this enslavement of our fathers has caused us to believe in the devil and believe in Almighty God, because they never knew anything of God or the devil, only by the teachings of the slavemaster and the slavemaster was always careful to conceal himself so that they might not know who he is; therefore, it was impossible for them to learn who was God and who was the devil.
There are really two Gods. The devil is a god himself, as mentioned by Jesus in the New Testament, the he is the god of this world, the prince of power of hell. This is true that the devil has been the ruler for six thousand years and god of this world. "This world" means the world of the devil.
Under his rule, the people forget the real True God and the way to that True God, because he will not teach the people.
Again, the parable of the vine or the olive tree, pardon me, the fig tree, that Jesus, as the book says, cursed, was also a sign of this world that this world has never produced converts to the will of Almighty God, Allah.
Never has any so-called American Negro been taught by white people to believe in Almighty God, Allah, and His True religion, Islam. Only in higher organizations or we say Masonry.
THE DEVIL'S LIES
The whites of this country make the so-called Negroes do for them everything that a real citizen does, and yet they will not give them equal rights as a citizen. They make my people ( the so-called Negroes fight to keep them ( the white devils ) free to rule them and their kind The so -called Negroes pay equal taxes but are paid the lowest wages. In certain states, such as Georgia, they aren't allowed to use the the ( white-operated )
highway filling stations' rest rooms (but will be arrested if seen relieving themselves in public ).They are not allowed to eat in public eating places, though they may purchase the food eand eat it on the outside.Yet when America's future is at stake, the devils tell my people that it is their country and that they are citizens of it. My people should know that they are fools for believing what the slavemasters ( their open enemines ) say, knowing that they have told them the same old false story many times. If there was any good in the white people ( which there isn't ) they would exempt all the so - called Negroes - their free slaves-from paying taxes, especially when the devils don't intend to divide their forty-eight states with them, not even one state, nor the spoils of war that they so willingly help gain for them.

Metrospy T-shirt Maker Threatened With Death.
Not just production manager Johnathan Alexander, his family too. Sample statements below are of the type that Jawa readers, unfortunately, are quite familiar with. Metrospy is offering a T-shirt with cartoon of Muhammad depicted with a bomb as a turban.
Personally I like this cartoon the most.Metrospy Website : Scores of liberals and hundreds of Islamo-fascists have written in to tell me that I should respect ALL religions. Most of the comments are pretty funny to people who know me. Some of the comments further confirm what I've always thought about the so-called "religion of peace"...there is nothing peaceful about it
More samples
here at YahooNews.
In one email the person writes, “We kill you and burn your shop. I am Muslim with forces in the U.S.A.”... ...Another email claims to be from the terrorist group Al Qaeda. It reads, “You only have 5 days and your company will disappear. I promise!” The email is signed, Saalem Al Qahtani, Al Qaeda... ...One of the more disturbing messages simply says, “In two days we kill your family."
Kill the family? How nice and peaceful.

U.S. Troops Terrorizing Iraqi Civilians, Kids, Dogs (images)
More evidence of America's
barbarity in Iraq. Clearly the Iraqi people have had enough of Americans
abusing and
humiliating them as can be seen in thes photos!
We've known for a long time that American soldiers love to abuse Iraqi men, women, and children. We've know for a long time that American female soldiers have nothing better to do with their time than humiliate Iraqi men. But it seems that their depravity has reached new lows when we find them abusing dogs in Iraq--an Iraqi puppy blender if you will.
Here are some images taken in August of 2005 by female G.I. who goes by the nickname of Parabellum. Where is the MSM and why isn't this frontpage news for the New York Times?

I've seen hundreds of similar photos brought back by my boys. MSM and opposition will never show such material for simple reason - they have a vested interest in assisting in our defeat - in the hopes that this will return them to power where they can resume their domestic agenda. Any complications arising from this "defeat" they feel are acceptable and they can deal with (they can't because they are incompetent and gutless).

Terrorists Using Sheep IED in Iraq (video, images)
Terrorists in Iraq have introduced their latest IED innovation:
the sheep bomb. Yes, the terrorists are using unwilling and unsuspecting sheep to try and kill the infidels. Will PETA now condemn the Iraqi insurgency?
Here are a few of images from a video from the Jaish al-Fatiheen, a terrorist group in Iraq, as grabbed by Doubletap. The first two show the IED being placed in the sheep. The third allegedly shows the explosion.

I don't see what the problem is other than it is state-owned (UAE - primary shareholder) with extensive additional arab, British and German corporate investors. It already has a track record of port ops in the US going back several decades.
Carter will give his 2 cent opinion to anyone if they ask - or don't. He's irrelevant. now Hillary is another thing ... a lot of people here seem eager to jump into bed with her and cuddle up. Why is that?

Bush has never used his Veto power. If he chooses this time to do it, I think there is enough bipartisan opposition to overturn it. Several democrats have already opposed it, as well as some
republicans, like Bill Frist.

It is odd. However right now Bush looks like the Supporter of UAE good for his perception abroad. If shot down it will be by popular dissent. Thus absolving W of the blame for the block abroad(UAE). Also it shows that the American people are involved and are mistrusting the Arab world because of terror. Thus providing UAE, who has stated oil is finite and they want to diversify, motivation to fight terror in order to accomplish the stated goal of entering the new investor economy and moving away from oil as the lone source of their economy. Other than that ???
More to this than meets the eye methinks(hopes) otherwise it's just stupid.

Individuals in country - yes - UAE Govt - no. This is a state-owned multi-national partnership corporation that has been operating ports around the world (and several already here in USA) for several decades. UAE and corporation have got a clean slate and record - so what's the beef?
I work in and around port facilities - many are foreign operated. I hope no one here is dumb enough to think they are going to replace hundreds if not thousands of American port workers with Pakis with green cards! The workforce remains the same with the addition of possibly a few middle and upper level execs.

correction - no current port terminal ops here - confused Corp with Dubai Shipping which is a major world freight carrier and I believe a seperate part of the corporation. Having thought about it, maybe he does have a plan. He used Harriet Myers as a stalking horse to galvanize his base into demanding a real qualified conservative justice, and we got one, more or less. Now, he won't be running for re-election, and neither will anyone in his administration be running, with the possible exception of Condi, so maybe he's using himself as a stalking horse by committing this outrageous act to get us all wound up. He is so unpopular with so many swing voters, and conservatives, that he may be giving strong Republicans a chance to come out and stand up for us. The dhimmicraps certainly aren't missing the opportunity to expose this lunacy for what it is, so maybe they will be forced to start acting like our compatriots again, instead of our enemies. But then, if they do that, we will have a harder time purging them when the war comes to our streets. Damn.

I still can't believe it. People are allowing their attention to be diverted from the most important issue regarding this deal.
Yes, there are obvious irregularities and "conflicts of interest" involved, in this little deal really, which are of concern surely. These are sides issues of less importance though, in comparison to the fact that ownership or control, when not both, of our entire infrastructure has already been sold to foreign corporations.
It is not just our seaports which have been sold off over the last four Presidential administrations. If only that were all there is to it. No, also our airports, railways system, trucking companies, highways and toll roads, bridges, hospitals, national retail chains, shipping companies, and even most of what little domestic industrial capacity left here to us in the US, have already been sold off.
For whatever reason, whether by design or by accident, the public has become aware of some of this because of the DPW of the UAR Ports deal. The electronic media however has not told even half the story. For example DPW is not buying control of a mere 6 ports, but 21 ports in fact.
Thus far media coverage has focused on the sensationalist possibilities, which I am certain the Bush admin, both can and will put to rest as they proceed with the deal.
Media coverage is also making this a very sensationalized partisan issue. Clearly however both US Parties have been fully complicit all along, in selling control and ownership of our entire infrastructure, to the multinational corporate alliance.
This same global confederation of Big Corps, doing all the buying, has no loyalty to any nation state. In fact this multinational corporate alliance, is becoming more powerful in wealth (the one true power) than all national governments put together, and they are doing it through the buying of the infrastructure within all nations, everywhere, not just here in the US.
Well what can we expect of the media? It too is owned and controlled by, the very same multinational corporate alliance.

John Buchanan, lamented Clinton doing the same thing, back when Bill was President.
{excerpted under fair use]
A Chinese Naval Base -- at Long Beach
by Patrick J. Buchanan
March 13, 1997
"And last year, Johnny Chung, who gave $366,000 to the Democratic National Committee, showed up for a Clinton radio broadcast at the White House, with six Chinese in tow, including an adviser of Cosco. The president begged off being photographed with his guests, which raises a question: If Bill Clinton is leery of being seen with these characters, why is he giving them a Long Beach naval base?...
Does anyone care about national security anymore?"
http://www.buchanan.org/pa-97-0313.html
[end excerpt]
As you can see the selling off of America is not a partisan issue. Bush too is selling off our infrastructure. But why would a supposed conservative, hell bent on National Security and improving our economy, sell off our essential infrastructure? Really, it doesn't matter what foreign outfit he sells them to, or which party is involved in this sort of thing now, obviously.
The question really is why. Bush does not need the money, and it didn't go to him. I guess. So what the hell is going on? We shall hear the official story, endlessly ad nauseam, whether we wish to or not. So lets take a look at it from another perspective also.
Could globalization have anything to do with this, and does that have anything to with Globalism? Of course it does. What the hell is Globalism, and who are these guys anyway? Now that is THE question, and here is the answer.
George W Bush, like his father, is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations, as are both Bill and Hillary Clinton, Dick Cheney, Carl Rove, Donnie Rumsfeld, and yes of course John Kerry and other phony liberals and phony conservatives.
WHAT THE HELL!? WHO ARE THESE GUYS?
The Council on Foreign Relations strongly advocates such deals, referring to the practice as "proactive global interdependence", touting it also as a necessary step toward WORLD GOVERNMENT. That's right. the CFR is a Globalist organization. They want a world government, 'and' they want to 'be' that world government.
How could they ever hope to accomplish this?! Well, nobody is stopping them, and they can certainly afford it, because "they" are also BIG OIL not just here in the US but everywhere on earth. Now that is some serious economic power right there.
The CFR along with the Bilderburg Group seems to be the headship of globalization, and they have long advocated "Corporate Powerbuilding" as a means to outstrip governments in wealth, in order to then subvert governments everywhere, through direct economic influence. It sure seems to be working doesn't it?
Oh by the way. Did I mention that Bush Jr and Sr, Bill and Hillary Clinton, Carl Rove, John Kerry, and others you have heard of recently, are also members of the Bilderburg Group? SURPRISE! They are! So is the owner of FOX and many other media owners, major newscasters, and yes even some cute and fuzzy pundits are members too. Hello, Rush? Is that why you are so well fed?
How could it even be possible, for this group of super wealthy corporate heads 'and' heads of state the world over, to ever hope to take over governments all over the world? Can they do it?
Well obviously, they have so much money now, they can both buy the infrastructure 'and' the political cooperation necessary to that possible. In effect they are buying the world as we speak. Both Clinton and Bush, and Reagan and Carter, and Ford, and others, have been selling our nation all along, like, well, like hotcakes. How does that make you feel?
Wont it be wonderful?! Imagine the same ethic displayed by EXXON, McDonalds, "The Good Guys", WAL-MART and that place you slave at, applied mercilessly on a global scale without the government or civil restrictions now protecting you. Wont it be great?!
Do you think maybe they (repubs and dems alike), got us all so divided and blinded with partisan squabbling, thanks Rush, that we didn't notice what they were up to in secret behind our backs?
Ya think? I mean do you think at all? Does anybody think anymore?

In other words, don't go to large events, or malls, or anywhere there is likely to be a large crowd that would attract one of these fools. What is more telling is the fact that two of them were naturalized citizens, this means they have learnt all of the history of the United States, for their test have lived here five or more years, and futher took the pledge.
So, even with all the opportunities, privileges and entitlements being a U.S citizen affords, they still harbor deep loyalties and resentment that supersede the act of being a U.S citizen.
I wonder what that loyalty could be?

Jesusland Joe,
You are absolutely, 100% correct. It is just a matter of time before they begin small-scale attacks here on U.S. soil. I am not a paranoid conspiracy theorist nor am I hoping this happens so I can get some knotches on the stock of my rifle. Small-scale is simply easier for them to carry out. How hard is it for one guy to strap on a bomb and walk into a local Wal-Mart? Or take an AK into a shopping mall? IEDs on main street? This kind of shit is going to happen eventually, and all we can do is prepare ourselves. It is simple statistics that says small-scale attacks like these will slip through the cracks. On the contrary, according to the Islamic Jihad Movement of Jordan, one of the only things standing in the way of attacks like these in the U.S. is armed and knowledgeable citizens. I would be one such citizen, and eliminating jihadis here in the states would be less difficult for me than stepping in ants. I hope it never happens, but...

Jack, you can hope in one hand and... well, you know. Personally, I see it as inevitable that they will begin their cowardly attacks here soon, but I think that for every American they kill, they will lose quite a few more, not to mention burned homes, businesses, and mosques. They are a tiny minority and stand out like a sore thumb, so they can't hide anywhere really, because once it starts, they will all be targets. Every last one will have to be killed or driven from America before we can be safe.

Holocaust Denial Lunacy
I disagree with
Sigmund, Carl, and Alfred. Denying the Holocaust is
lunacy, but it should not be a
crime. If one were to put people in jail for denying the 'truth', our jails would be full of Elvis spotters. Just because the truth that they deny is so disgusting and evil, does not give government the right to outlaw the telling of lies.
Besides, what government do you trust enough to decide the difference between 'opinion' and 'truth'?
Update: More from Wretchard:
But laws establishing "official truth" create categories of the Unmentionable into which subjects like the Jihad, feminism, abortion and Global Warming -- all the assertions, half-truths and humbug of the world -- will presently seek refuge.

Al Qaeda Looking For White "Sleepers"
The trial of an Australian renegade named Joseph Thomas, who is accused of working with Al Qaeda terrorists in Pakistan, may have revealed that Osama bin Laden is trying to recruit Caucasians.
From UPI:
Western intelligence services are increasingly nervous about al-Qaida attempts to recruit white men and women, as they can more easily pass in Western society.
Australia's Herald Sun reported that an ongoing court case in Melbourne uncovered an al-Qaida attempt to recruit Caucasian "sleeper agents."
Australian defendant Joseph Thomas told his police interrogators that Khalid bin Attash, an associate of Osama bin Laden, said that bin Laden was interested in having "an Aussie ... a white boy," according to testimony in Melbourne's Supreme Court.
Prosecutor Nick Robinson alleged that Thomas's conversations with bin Attash occurred in Pakistan, where Thomas was staying at an al-Qaida safe house after training at the group's al-Farooq camp in Afghanistan during 2001.
Presumably, the Caucasians would be mercenaries. Anyone care to bet that there aren't plenty of whites willing to help out AQ for enough green?

Jayna Davis explores recruitment of 'lily white' candidates in her book "The Third Terrorist".
Immortalizing the Oklahoma City bombing as an act committed by two lily white home grown anti-government discontents has shown how successful this tactic is. Certainly the FBI, congress, federal and state justice departments saw no cause to explore 22 well corroborated eye witness accounts to counter preconceived ( or should that be PC)notions.
Just ask Hussain Hashem Al Hussaini (the third terrorist) or any of his cohorts . . . like Majid Ajaj, Dr. Anwar Abdul, Ali Kamel, Adnon Khan, Rizwan Sidiqqi, etc. etc.

The problem with Islamic Law is that it only applies to Muslims. If you kill a Christian, Jew, or non-Muslim, it is not murder. Hence rape of a kufir is not rape, thus anything goes when another person is not Muslim. Now you see why sharia law is so popular with the Muslims, as it gives them complete freedom to do whatever they want with non-Muslims. A terrible set of laws and uncivilized to say the least is how I would describe them.

Islamic law applies to everybody living in a country or under the rule of the muslim leader.
Jesusland Joe you seem to base your argument on your views, please provide sufficeint evidence that what you have said is true.
Fiqh of Sex
Ibn al-Hajj al-Maliki mentioned in al-Madkhal:
The beginning of the night is betterÂ…
One must avoid intercourse with oneÂ’s wife before any foreplay, because it has been interdicted. Rather, one should play around with her and jest with kisses, touches and the like. Then, one sees that she is ready, prepared, and desirous of him, only then should he initiate intercourse. The wisdom of the Lawgiver in this is evident, for the woman derives pleasure as a man does. If he approaches her while she is unprepared, he may fulfill his need, but she may not, and would feel frustratedÂ…
Before penetration, one should say, Bismillah Allahumma Jannibna al-Shaytan, wa Jannib ish-Shaytanu ma Razaqtana, as has been authentically reported in the sunnaÂ…
One should be careful to fulfill the rights of the wife with regards to intercourse, and to safeguard her religion. One should fulfill oneself [=orgasm] after she has achieved fulfillment, to be under the general rubric of the Prophet’s saying (Allah bless him and give him peace), “Allah is in the assistance of a servant as long as he is in the assistance of his fellow.”
One should not have intercourse without coversÂ…
It is best to perform ghusl before sleeping after intercourse. Or, at least to do wudu and wash the private parts. [f: One should not, at the very least, leave washing the private parts.]

Yes, they chop off your head or stone you equally. See, civilized. Or maybe not. I guess it is better to be an oppressed Christian--forbiden, by law, to publicly carry out the 'Great Commission', than to be a Muslim heretic.
Malik's Muwatta Book 36, Number 36.18.15:
Yahya related to me from Malik from Zayd ibn Aslam that the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said, "If someone changes his deen - strike his neck!"
The meaning of the statement of the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, in our opinion and Allah knows best, is that "if someone changes his deen, strike his neck!" refers to those who leave Islam for other than it - like the heretics and their like, about whom it is known. They are killed without being called to tawba because their tawba is not recognised. They were hiding their kufr and publishing their Islam, so I do not think that one calls such people to tawba, and one does not accept their word. As for the one who goes out of Islam to something else and divulges it, one calls him to tawba. If he does not turn in tawba, he is killed. If there are people in that situation, I think that one should call them to Islam and call them to tawba. If they turn in tawba, that is accepted from them. If they do not turn in tawba, they are killed. That does not refer as we see it, and Allah knows best, to those who come out of Judaism to Christianity or from Christianity to Judaism, nor to someone who changes his deen from the various forms of deen except for Islam. Whoever comes out of Islam to other than it and divulges that, that is the one who is referred to, and Allah knows best!

Amaad,
Where do I start? Christians and Jews living under Muslim law, or sharia, if you prefer, were forced to pay the jizra, or a tax for the privilege of being a second-class citizen. They had to acknowledge the superiority of the Muslim, were not allowed to ride a horse or carry a weapon to protect themselves, and were required to go barefoot in many instances. No Christian religious processions were allowed, no Christian was allowed to talk to a Muslim about Jesus, and if a Christian were to say that Jesus was divine, he or she was killed. As in dead.
If assualted by a Muslim, Christians were not allowed to defend themselves, but had to beg the Muslim attackers to stop. If they could not afford to pay the tax, they were sold into slavery or executed. Not good.
Now you say this was a long time ago, but tell me, can a Christian talk to a Muslim about Jesus in Saudi Arabia? Can a Christian have a Bible in Saudi Arabia? Can a Christian give a Bible to a person in Indonesia, Malaysia, Libya, etc. Get the picture. No freedom of religion. No freedom, period.
Do I need say anything about the rights of women? Honor killings? Forced to wear burkas, headscarfs, and I could go on and on. Need I? I thought not.

New to the Blog, really enjoy it. I was enlightened by the following passage right here on this website. It's straight from the Koran. This is what the "Non-Muslim"/"Non-Islamic" (whatever) is up against.
[9.29] Fight those who do not believe in Allah, nor in the latter day, nor do they prohibit what Allah and His Apostle have prohibited, nor follow the religion of truth, out of those who have been given the Book, until they pay the tax in acknowledgment of superiority and they are in a state of subjection. [9.30] And the Jews say: Uzair is the son of Allah; and the Christians say: The Messiah is the son of Allah; these are the words of their mouths; they imitate the saying of those who disbelieved before; may Allah destroy them; how they are turned away!

Zaman:
A delegation of bishops and religious men from the Danish Lutheran Church made contacts in Egypt following the worldwide uproar against the offending cartoons of Prophet Mohammed published in a Danish newspaper....
Steen Skovsgaard, a bishop in the delegation, told Zaman that the cartoons are entirely for provocation. Skovsgard, stressing Muslims and Christians live together in peace, said Danes separated after the events and the majority disapproved the cartoons. He said the freedom of speech did not include humiliation and insult and Muslims can seek remedy through the courts as Denmark is a state of law. Skovsgard, underlining that the crisis is the beginning of a new dialogue rather than a partition, said their tickets were bought by the Danish Foreign Ministry though it was not an official visit.

I like that Sentry gun, kind of reminds me of the one they had in "Aliens" placed in the corridor, monitor-ing and waiting to fire on anything that moved.
I have to wonder if this has some sort of 'friend or foe' recognition systems (not that it would be discussed obviously) due to the fact you wouldn't want to light up the friendlies.

Another Muslim Country Soon to be Jew Free
Muslims love to tell you how tolerant they are. What they don't love to tell you is the story of how the entire Muslim world has become nearly Jew free. In 1948 there were approximately 1,000,000 Jews living in the Arab countries.
By 2001 there were less than 19,000. Contrast that the 'little Satan', Israel, which is
nearly 20% Arab.
The sad thing about this story of the last Jewish Synagogue in Tajikistan is that there are probably so few Jews left that it really isn't needed. Registan:
The last remaining synagogue in Tajikistan is being torn down. The Jewish center and surrounding neighborhood have been threatened with demolition for years, but interventions by the US and Israeli embassies and Jewish religious authorities in Tashkent brought previous assurances that the synagogue would either be saved or fairly compensated. The demolition is scheduled as part of a huge presidential palace complex being built in the center of town. Without written warning or any legal notification, the water and phones were cut on 7 February, and the bulldozers came in this week. The building is still standing but half of the property, including the mikveh (ritual bath), classroom space, and the kosher butchery, are demolished. The road to the synagogue is gone and people must now walk over mud and demolition waste to get to the entrance, the courtyard has been turned into storage space for the demolition work, all by order (or with the blessing of) city authorities.
Rabbi Abdurakhmonov, the communityÂ’s leader, says he has been threatened by government officials for raising his voice.

All for a presidential palace complex, huh? Sounds like the ultimate in eminent domain abuse. Were they late on their dhimmi-dues or something?

Oh nice. I just looked up how much land they're offering to the Jews outside of town. 0.15 hectares. Which is equal to about one third acre. Plus! They want to rent them a building to use with the money they don't have while they build a new synagogue on the 1/3 acre with the other money they don't have.
Nice people.

When I first heard about this a few years ago, the Tajik government made clear that they were tearing down a mosque too. What wasn't clear was whether or not they were going to give
them money to build a new one.
The author who sent me the short report I published said that he's shopping around a longer version that will hopefully appear in the next few days. Sadly, it looks like Uzbekistan's Jewish community, and the US and Israeli embassies will not be able to save Dushanbe's synagogue this time around.

I have to play Devil's Advocate here for a second; if Jews can establish an ethnic homeland, then they can't really claim absolute right to reside anywhere else. I believe in one set of rules for everyone, not one set for Jews, and another for everyone else.

IM, what? Jews have lived all over the world for ever. Because they have a homeland now they all have to go there and leave the homes they've likely been in for their whole lives? Homes that may have been in their families for centuries? Not to mention that in their "ethnic homeland" other ethnic people of other religions live peacefully.
Or are you just pullin' my leg?

So, the fact that Israel is a
Jewish nation doesn't mean anything? What if every other nation followed their policies? They'd be called racist, that's what. They don't even allow non-Jews to join their military, with the exception of those with Israeli citizenship, which is damned difficult for non-Jews to get. Cut the BS people, just because they're Jews doesn't mean they deserve to be treated any differently than anyone else.

IM, few people had any problem with Islamic nations until information got out to all us peons in the world that harsh punsihments are regularly meted out to all who openly practice any religion but Islam, to women who are unfortunate enough to be raped, to anyone who expresses even slight displeasure with the Islamic rulers, Imams and Mullahs. Nobody minded and STILL wouldn't mind if only basic human rights were recognized.
Israel isn't perfect, no, but they are leaps and bounds beyond the barbaric practices of Islamic nations.
It
should be hard to get Israeli citizenship. Look at their location. Try getting Iranian citizenship without professing to be Muslim. Ain't gonna happen.
You simply can't compare the two.

Don't think for one second that I'm siding with muslims, I did say
modern countries after all, not
recidivistic, primitive states. I'm just making the point that any group which wants to have an ethnically pure state shouldn't bitch when they get kicked out of someplace else. And on that note, we should kick all muslims out of the civilized countries.

IM:
Anglicans have a homeland in the UK. Muslims have Saudi Arabia. Germans have Germany. Chinese have China. Have they no rights elsewhere? OF COURSE THEY DO. Jews have a homeland in Israel. But we have rights elsewhere. You are NOT asking that we be treated equally; you are singling us out for expulsion or abuse.
Re your assertions about Israel & non-Jews. Israel's population is 20% non-Jewish. Israel is not perfect, but it does a MUCH better job than many countries. Out of 120 members of parliament, 11 are Arabs (Muslim, Druze, Christian). Some have served as deputy cabinet ministers. There is currently a Christian Arab on the Israeli supreme court. Israeli Druze soldiers have risen to high rank (colonel and above) in the IDF, serving with distinction and commanding Jews and non-Jews alike. Israeli Arabs play on the national soccer team, have become Miss Israel and hold professorships at Israeli universities. Israel's non-Jewish citizens have full voting rights. Israeli Muslim women go to school, drive and open businesses, become lawyers, doctors -- and imams.
I have enjoyed my visits to Germany, but how many Turks are in the Reichstag? In the cabinet? How many Turks are citizens? What does it take for a Turk to become a German citizen? He can't do it, can he? And yet Germany is a progressive, modern country. I love Turkey, but is the parliament even 10% Kurdish? Turkey, too, is a modern nation-state. It has a 20% Kurdish population. How "well" does Turkey do? I won't even consider Saudi, where not a single church or synagogue is allowed, and every other religion but Islam has been forcibly stamped out.
Why is Israel so "bad"? It's doing better by its minorities than a vast array of other countries that are only too glad to point accusing fingers at Israel.
bloody_turk
Imagine that Turks are being victimized in countries surrounding Turkey, and the rest of the world does nothing. Do you just sit by and watch this happen, or do you try to at least bring your fellow Turks to safety? Israel has also given shelter to tens of thousands of Baha'i refugees from Iran. Baha'is are definitely NOT Jews; they are a offshoot of Islam (many Muslims call them heretics). Israel took them in.
IM again:
Let's also not slam all Muslim states or all Muslims. Be specific. Saudi Arabia and Iran have become really nasty, backward places in many regards. But not only are there more prosperous & modern examples to draw from, but there are many Muslims who are more forward thinking and "western" in their outlook. Even in Saudi and Iran, there are dissidents and others who are trying to reform their societies for the better.
I hope this post (though long) made for interesting reading. Thanks for listening.

do infringe, I'm ready to fight to the death without question or hesitation, which is why I hate islam and wish the hell that the muslims would go ahead and start the war in America, which is inevitable, so I can enjoy killing some of the bastards before I get too old. Well, to tell you the truth, wanting to legalize prostitution (which I find abhorrent) is so far right that it's left. In other words, it's so far to the right in that a person wants the gov't to stay out of it that they end up agreeing with liberals who want a bye for bad behavior.
Same with marijuana. Someone like Dr Rusty might say, "don't enter my house to look for drugs" while a hippie lib would say, "Dude, I'm just looking for a good time. What's the crime."

I believe in letting stupid people kill themselves and ruin their lives and not interfering in the process. In that case I think that if people want to pay prostitues for sex and shoot drugs, I couldn't care less. But to think that either of these will ever be legalized wihtout onerous legislation and an increase in crime and that the taxpayer won't bear the cost of both is ridiculous. Which brings us back to letting stupid people kill themselves and ruin their lives
without interference.
It'll never happen that way.

A crime should be defined thus:
A deliberate act which causes direct harm or loss to any person or group of persons. Anything which does not fit this description shouldn't be a crime, including prostitution and drug use. Not that these things shouldn't be controlled, but putting people in jail hasn't done anything but fill the jails.

Did Russia Help Hide Saddam's WMD?
I'm not quite convinced--no, more than that, I'm highly skeptical--but that is one of the allegations made over the weekend at the Intelligence Summit.
It looks like ABC News misled the nation when they claimed that the 12 hours of tape aired at the Intelligence Summit revealed no Saddam-WMD connection. However, as we have noted before, the Summit was not organized by the most reputable people in the world.
Renew America via Rocketsbraintrust:
The chief mischief-maker on the Russian side apparently was General Yevgeny Primakov, who headed the Soviet foreign intelligence service in 1990, served as Russia's minister of foreign affairs in 1996, and as prime minister in 1998. You may remember him as the post-Cold War general who was given to outrageous and threatening outbursts.
Despite Iraq's 8 billion dollar debt to Russia, Primakov convinced the Russian government to invest anew in rebuilding Iraqi military forces after Saddam's humiliating defeat in the Gulf War. "Secret agreements, signed between Iraqi intelligence and the Russian GRU, provided for clean-up operations to be conducted by Russian and Iraqi military personnel — to remove WMDs, materials for production, technical documentation, etc., from Iraq, so that the regime could announce that Iraq was 'WMD free.'"
Part of the plan — specifically dealing with chemical weapons — was described by a Romanian intelligence official now living in protective custody after briefing U.S. intelligence for three years. The Russians specified that all chemical/bio weapons were to be burned or buried at sea in the event of potential capture. Just before war against Iraq by the allied coalition, two Russian ships set sail for the Indian Ocean. Shaw says it's not known whether they then headed for Syria or were destroyed. The point is they were out of Iraq and out of the reach of any invasion force.

I don't know if the Russians helped hide actual weaponry or equipment, but I DO think they spent time helping get rid of any documentation relating to their dealings with the Ba'athists. Remember when their alleged "diplomatic convoy" was shot at by US troops immediately after Baghdad was felled? They weren't supposed to be there. I understood they said they had gotten all their people out already. I think they didn't expect that we would reach Baghdad so quickly and were making a last minute run for it.

If there was a country that was an accomplice in removing chemical, or biological weapons from Iraq, it would be Russia.
Our allies the Russians who sold Iraq, fighter jets after 1990, banned night vision technology and GPS jamming equipment and the experience to use it, and never had to publically explain why.
Russia doesn't have to worry about it's "enemy" the United States anymore, their customers will take care of it.
Russia has armed pretty much every foe of the U.S and continues to do so. Don't believe me? in the last five years they have sold weapons, or experience in China, Iran, Iraq, Syria, North Korea, etc.

Well your opinion is worth exactly nothing considering that there's only tons of evidence to the contrary. I was in Desert Storm, and my unit, along with many others, were exposed to Sarin and Cyclosarin when EOD blew up some scud missiles they found, so don't tell me they didn't have any. Also, ever hear of Halabja?
Posted by: Improbulus Maximus at February 21, 2006 04:37 PM (0yYS2)
5
I was saying they didn't have any WMD's after Desert Storm. Saddam used WMD's during the Iran Iraq war of the 80s. I've seen pictures of the victims. Many Kurds were killed during the war too. I believe Saddam got rid of them after Desert Storm. Also it's good to know you served your country. I salute you.

So they just magically disappeared? Yeah. To Syria and Iran, and probably Russia too, from whence they came in the first place. Remember those Russians we accidentally shot while they were fleeing Baghdad at the last minute? What were they there for, tea and biscuits with Saddam?

Karaoke Without Liquor
(Hanoi, Vietnam) Over 10,000 karaoke bars in the country, some catering to drug usage and prostitution, are being blamed for 'social evils' by the Vietnamese government. As a result, the communist hierarchy has decreed that alcohol is
prohibited at the bars and they must close at midnight.
The logic eludes me. Banning alcohol doesn't necessarily mean there will be less drug usage and less prostitution. In fact, banning alcohol would more likely lead to increased drug usage, especially if someone, without a couple of bracers, anticipated being handed a microphone and asked to belt out a believable rendition of "Buttons and Bows."

With such twisted and dishonest reporting on display, it then comes as little surprise when Andersen stoops to that most familiar of refrains used by Republicans to excuse their representatives' most heinous and indecent crimes - making reference to the sad and unfortunate, almost 40-years-old Chappaquiddick incident and thinking themselves clever for doing so. It's a pathetic fallback position that reveals just how low their sort is willing to drag a debate before ever taking the slightest bit of responsibility for their own failings.

I've read, watched and listened to as much info as I can find on the Able Danger program and I really do believe this is a huge and very credible story. It's easy to be skeptical because, unfortunately, on the surface it just sounds like a 'fringe' conspiracy theory. It is fairly complicated and I think some of the impact gets lost in the details.

It's my understanding that Atta's photo was supplied by a woman (either in California or from there) who worked for a security contractor, hired by Orion Scientific, that obtained his photo and other militants by surveilling a mosque. It is also my understanding that the photo we see regularly now of Atta was not the photo that was on the missing/destroyed chart.
Who that security contractor was - I don't know.

did you see the part about that the data they mined was so vast they had to mount sections of the relationship tables on twenty-foot boards with tiny text, and was over two Terabytes disk storage?
For someone that works with Gigabyte databases, that to me is mind boggling -- especially as I know exactly how much data is available in a Database not even 0.5% of the size of able danger.

I haven't commented on it because nothing is going to come of it anyway. This country is so screwed up that the only thing that can save it is a massive bloodletting. We need a good, old-fashioned revolution.

Why doesn't this information get national news coverage? I think the answer to that one is that the Administration has complete control of the major networks.

The reason why the "Able Danger" story doesn't get national media attention is perfectly clear. The media is controlled by the Bush Administration, period.

Yes, Earl a story that would put the Clinton Administration into bad light due to the fact that four of the 9-11 hijackers were identified as early as 2000, and all action was stopped due to the Clintons "judicial wall" is being held up by the Bush Administration.
Perhaps you might want to actually read about Able Danger.

Dave, if you are not just incredibly ignorant of this subject, then you are definitely an operative for an organization with a sinister agenda... Everyone who has taken the time to read these comments should read Colonel Shaffer's sworn testimony in its entirety, found here: http://www.fas.org/irp/congress/2006_hr/index.html#ad
