9 Yup. It's definitely related to the American version of The Ring http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0298130/ so presumably viral marketing for a forthcoming sequel as there were 3 in the Japanese series. In The Ring, there was a video (which was all of what you saw). Anyone who watched it died 7 days later. The movie is about a journalist who is covering the story (and basically has 7 days to do it). I know a lot of people say the Japanese original was better but I found the American version more terrifying as it's hard to get scared from reading subtitles. Watching that thing gave me shivers again.

13 I minimized the window & listened to it with the volume low. I anticipated something similiar to that damned lich woman whose face fills up the damned screen. I'm about ready to die anyway, so I won't be passing it on. If for some reason I don't die in 7 days (having found some weird audio-only loophole), I'll be back. Oh, "what" was right!
