This poor fellow is obviously the result of that well-intentioned, but disastrous policy adopted some time ago to "deinstitutionalize" the mentally ill. I can picture him perfectly: a scruffy, unwashed dipsomaniac, decked out in tattered, cast-off clothes, sitting in front of a computer in the public library, blogging aimlessly between sips of Sterno. Really, he is more to be pitied than censured.

Just out of curiousity, I'd like to see Right Wing bloggers and/or comments threatening left folks. Ted says there's plenty of it. I don't recall seeing it, but I only frequent a blogroll of fairly popular sites (with the exception of the Free Republic message boards). Are there frequent threats against liberal politicians and figureheads?
I'd just like to see the opposite challenge results. I'm not saying there aren't any, but like Teddy there, I don't run into them.

I have to smile at the fact this writer calls Bush a Catholic Jew. First he's not Catholic and second, he's not Jewish. Have you noticed Rusty that these letters you get (and I get too) the people have absolutely no sense whatsoever and don't even make sense. Unbelievable. I'm not a blogger, just a blogger lover and commenter, and I get hate mail like that. I hit spam and hope it goes away. That's also why I'm anonymous to most people, too.
