1 Nothing suprises me about Oregon, their child protective services are the most draconian group to ever exist when it comes to so-called child protection. http://www.newswithviews.com/child_protection/child_protection3.htm http://www.avoiceforchildren.com/christines/ginny_paseman_5-14-02.htm http://oregonfamilyrights.com/christines/steele/

5 Any that says two virgins? I'm 63.

6 I'm still of the mind that the "72 virgins" are quoted wrong. I believe it should be "72 virginians". Once they get Osama or Zarqawi please send him down to Chesapeake. We'll form a smack down conga line.

7 I say cut their balls off while saying that allah ackbar babble then feed them their own rocky mountain oysters.

8 My guess is that someone knows where Osama is holed up. You'd think with all the top guys from Zarqawi's group, someone would've squealed on his whereabouts...oh yeah, that's right...we cannot "torture" them into spilling the beans, right? We'll just be nice and patient, feed them 3 squares a day, make sure they get plenty of exercise and sunshine, and maybe, just maybe, if we treat them nicely, they may talk. BULLSHIT.

9 They (intelligence) totally know where Osama is, or at the very least, know someone who knows where he is. Why else would they consider raising the bounty to $50 million? Someone probably needed that extra monetary incentive to turn him in. Of course, it's not like we'll ever hear about it when they do capture him.

10 Well we got Saddam and some of Zarqawi's men...maybe Zarqawi's guys might squeal who knows? This Chinese connection is starting to worry me now. Maybe that's why they let those 8 hostages go. Because some of them are now in alliance with Al Qaeda. Pretty soon, we won't be able to "racially profile" anyone at the airport or boarders. For all we know, some Grandma could end up being an ally to those bastards. What can you do?!

Posted by: Laura at January 25, 2005 02:24 PM (ptOpl)

11 The Chinese were probably let go because China isn't an ally of the U.S. in Iraq. They were probably originally taken by mistake. As for some "Chinese connection," who knows. I'm sure that al-Quaida knows that U.S. authorities will be more diligent in screening for Arabic-looking terrorists. It's well-known that China has a sizeable Muslim population in the East, so maybe al-Quaida has taken to using Chinese jihadists from this region for some of their plans. It's just a theory. So, yeah, now the ultra right-wingers here can be freaked out about Arabs and Chinese. And then maybe Al-Quaida will use more African Muslims for their missions, so you can then add blacks to the mix. And after that, who knows. Better start stocking up on those canned goods and bottled water!

12 By the way, it wouldn't surprise me if the latest capture leads to more terrorist arrests. It doesn't really seem to be that a lot of force is needed for some of these guys to give up names.

Posted by: Venom at January 25, 2005 02:54 PM (dbxVM)

13 If that's the case, then why hasn't the 50 mill reward for their heads hasn't enticed any in the groups?

Posted by: Laura at January 25, 2005 04:03 PM (ptOpl)

14 The $50 million isn't official yet. They're only considering raising the bounty.

Posted by: Venom at January 26, 2005 08:37 AM (dbxVM)

15 Regardless, 25 mill is no bag of shells either. Ugh, I just heard 31 Marines have been killed in a crash...they said it was bad weather but they still can't rule out whether or not it was a true crash or shot down.

16 Wonder if any of you remember Zebra: http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/0399900500/qid=1106763838/sr=1-1/ref=sr_1_1/102-7559921-7364149?v=glance&s=books ------------- I wonder how long until some pay offs start kicking up another wave of murders like what is written of in the above mention book in america AGAIN.

17 Has Ghadaffi (sp?) agreed to pay for Hallum's release?

Posted by: Laura at January 27, 2005 09:19 AM (ptOpl)

18 If it's the video you have pasted below, that certainly is not Zarqawi; that beheader was definitely someone else. After all we've seen of Zarqawi's work, he has it down to science; that beheading was not his work. Cindy
