I need help doing a couple of things with the blog. If you can help please e-mail me at: mypetjawa*at*gmail*dot*com.
Regular readers know why I blog anonymously. I would like to keep things that way. Here's what I need to do, but don't know how to do it.
a) set up a pay-pal and amazon honor account, but do it in such a way that would protect my privacy. I don't even want my city to be seen by those donating. Yes, I'm that paranoid.
b) get a blog ads thingy going. I cannot, for the life of me, figure out how to start with blog ads.

Mark Jaquith (http://txfx.net) does all of my technical work for me. He's excellent. He'll probably try to convert you to Wordpress, but he really is good.
He's been busy doing some work for Malkin lately, but I'm sure he could fit you in.

Rusty Shakelford would do, so would the name of your blog "myjawa.com" anound you still remain anonomous. You can also open a PO Box for the ad money and just put a note on your left side here saying this space is free for ads. Not the ads being free, just that you have a really long blog that people can pay monthly to paypal for the space they take up on your blog.
When it comes to asking people if they want space to advertize on your blog; then also talk to other bloggers that have ads and ask them how they got them.
You could make a lot of money,Rusty,because your blog is long and you have so much space here on the right side for advertizements.
Give that a shot.

Like I said before - ask Kevin. Use the name Rusty Shakelford if you want but if it's for your blog, use "MyPetJawa."
