Hundreds of Terrorists Captured in Iraq, al Qaeda Leader Killed
The Iraqi Interior Ministry is reporting that hundreds of terrorists have been rounded up in the Tal Afar region near the Syrian border. Of the 200 terrorists captured, 150 of them were foreign fighters from Syria, Sudan, Yemen and Jordan.
Centcom is also reporting that between Sept. 4th and 5th combined Iraqi and Coalition teams captured over 50 terrorist suspects in the Baghdad area. One of the captured terrorists was found with a note indicating he was about to become a suicide bomber.
In addition, US forces bombed a known al Qaeda safehouse in near the Syrian border. The target was a known bomb-making cell leader, Abu Mohammad, who has been linked extensively to other al Qaida terrorists and foreign fighters in Husaybah and throughout the Western Euphrates Valley. Additionally, he is known to have worked directly for Abu Islam, the al Qaida 'Emir' of Husaybah, who was killed by a Coalition air strike last week.
Husaybah is located near the city of al Qaim, said to now be controlled by forces loyal to Abu Musab al Zarqawi's al Qaeda in Iraq. Sources within the U.S. military have not denied these reports to The Jawa Report. Tribes loyal to Zarqawi and those aligned with the Iraqi government have been engaged in severe fighting in the past several weeks. I expect (or hope) that many more bombs will fall on these locations in the next few days.
Way to go Team America, f*ck yeah!!

Randy, surely you jest. The Religion of Peace is not involved in any kind of insurrection in Iraq. Jihad is a struggle of the mind and spirit. The inner peace of the jihad overwhelms all the outside warmongering of the infidels and the crusaders.
Besides, you know that Islamic Law does not see the crudader Christians and kaffirs as people. The Sharia Law only applies to Muslims, and I can kill the Christian dogs and rape the kaffirs with impunity. Doesn't the Koran tell me to kill them and plunder their wealth?
Can I be charged with killing or raping a Christian dog? Why do you think we want the Sharia? Hell, man, we can kill and rape and plunder and still be following the mandate of the Koran. In other words, we can kill and we can have all the sex we want to with the kaffirs because Allah doesn't see them as people. They are the slaves of Allah and he has placed them here for our use.
Gee, Randy, get a grip. You're going to give us jihadis a bad name if you don't stop with your shit.

Randy is the psydonym that the great Dr. Rusty Shackleford has to use now that the evil professor Mohamad Al-Khodry of West Virgina University is on to him. He cannot let the evil professor discover his true identity.
NOW, WTF? What has happened to all the rednecks in West Virgina? We need a redneck alert in wherever the hell West Virginia University is. Do they have universities in West Virginia?
Posted by: jesusland joe at September 08, 2005 06:44 PM (q9AWQ)
7
The rednecks were all driven underground by a concerted attack by leftist, anti-American organizations such as the ADL, ACLU, and NAACP, with the government doing the dirty work. Not only are whites now unable to publicly declare love for their own people, but are even forbidden from responding to a threat to their safety. I guarantee you that when the first terror supporter is lynched, the media will go into a hysterical frenzy, screaming racism from every housetop, but I think that few people really give a damn what the media says anymore, because it's clear they're not on our side.

E-mail a terrorist
We will make no distinction between the terrorists who committed these acts and those who harbor them.--President George W. Bush
I've just spent the last ten minutes of my life watching disgusting videos produced by the Islamic Media Center. One was a high-production video based on candid camera with laugh tracks accompanying the death of American soldiers. Here is the e-mail associated with these disgusting propaganda films.
zubeiddah1417@hotmail.com
Was Joseph Goebels, chief propagandist for Nazi Germany, who never picked up a weapon and killed any one, a legitimate target in war? If so, why are those that produce jihad videos used to bolster the morale of our enemies and recruit new fighters to kill our soldiers not legitimate targets?

He is also to blame for my expanding beer gut. His mishandling of the hurricane in addition to his extended summer vacation has caused me so much stress that I've had to drink more pints of Guinness than usual. Plus I've been too lazy to exercise, which is also partially Shrubya's fault.

The really funny thing is the left actually believes this approach resonates with the majority of the American people. Thats how insular (and ineffective) they have become. They still can't fathom why the overwhelming majority of the voting military and veterans community rejected "a war hero".

Greed in the face of adversity
This news is so stunning that I actually didn't believe it when I first read it. But I went and checked it out for myself and it's true. Planned Parenthood is using Hurricane Katrina as a fundraising event for itself. That's right, they've stooped that low. On the front page of their website (plannedparenthood.com or plannedparenthood.org, I'm not going to link to them), they have a link stating "Help Those Affected by the Hurricane." Well, that would be great if that's what they planned on doing. But when you get to the page where you can make a donation, you find the following information:
100% of your tax-deductible contribution will go directly to helping Planned Parenthood affiliates and health centers in this region
That's right, folks. In the guise of helping the hurricane victims, they are raising funds to be used strictly for themselves. Never mind that people need food, shelter, clothing, etc. These idiots are only concerned that they have to rebuild their abortion mills. I didn't think I could be any more disgusted than I already am with them, but they have managed it.
The two attached screen shots show the web pages in question, just in case PP tries to take them down and deny what they were doing.

Capt. Michael "Scott" Speicher Still Alive?
This CNN article implies that the Navy still believes Speicher is alive after 14 years. That would be a miracle indeed. But isn't it more logical to conclude, after all this time, that if any former Hussein regime officials 'know of his location' that they are now talking about the location of his body? I pray that he is still alive, but it would be shocking to find out that he still was.

When we captured Saddam; The whereabouts of Captain Speicher was the 2nd question we asked him.
To me if Scott were alive I would not be nearly as shocked as I am to learn that 15 yrs later we are having to (at this late date) "suggest" that our government involve state dept, Iraqi embassy etc. Bremmer should have demanded more on Scott before giving away any power, money and assistance to the (then) newly forming Iraqi
gov't.

Why is it: When you do a google search /News/ then type in Scott Speicher.....You get the context abreviated for this article and a few others stating the opposite of the body of the articles and AP report.
"They left out "Board has found NO EVIDENCE THAT...."
so it reads " CPT Scott Speicher is dead....."
They took him off the KIA list and sent all his back pay and current paychecks to his wife....yet since then...over 5,000 days later....this guy just can't get a break; not in DC, and not in the press.
THANKS GOOGLE, HAPPY National P.O.W. Recognition day to you too!

Company Releases X-Ray Glasses

X-Ray glasses are finally here. It's like a lifelong dream come true. Via Ghost of the Flea we learn that Advanced Intelligence has released a new CCD camera capable of seeing through clothes. And even though they mention that the camera can see through clothes in the very first sentence on their web page, the page later adds that you shouldn't use the camera to view anything 'indecent' like, er, looking through 'tight clothes, swimsuites, or sun dresses'.
The. Thought. Never. Croseed. My. Mind.
Now excuse me while I slip on these glasses....

It's my understanding that many consumer camcorders and digital cameras can do this. As I understand it, the deal is that the CCDs used in those cameras can see into the near infrared, so under the right conditions you can see through light clothing such as the sundresses and whatnot that the web page mentions.

Muslims Attempting to Silence Academics
Why do I blog anonymously? A variety of reasons. The number one reason, though, is that my views are not particularly popular in academia. You will never find a more wretched hive of scum and villany than in academia. Evidence?
On September 12th, 2001, I raised my voice in a class I was a teaching assistant in, and voiced the opinion that Muslims who followed Osama bin Laden's teachings were a grave threat to the United States and Western culture. The professor, literally, looked at me and, literally, began to yell at the top of his lungs that my statements were out of order and that they could have been uttered by a Nazi. Opposition to radical Islam is equated to Nazism......
Richard L. Rubenstein's run-in with those who would make us all dhimmis at an academic conference is further evidence.

Some of these people are so quick to whip out the comparisons to Nazis, yet I remain confused. To these radical Muslims, wouldn't the Nazis be a form of natural ally? Hatred of JOOS and willingness to do something about it? Check. Vision to rule Europe and the world under a single government? Check. Wanton, intentional murder of captured people to envoke fear in the populace? Check. Ultimately then, is it a complement for radical Muslims to call others Nazis?
I guess the real difference is that when wackjobs like the Nazis show up in West, we aren't afraid to call them the bad guys and stop them, thus creating the absolute standard for argument (if it's like a Nazi, then it has to be bad). I do not see the same vision in Muslim governments, but what do I know... I am sure its the very next thing on Iran's agenda.

American Racism Exposed
Mary Katherine Ham has looked deep into the heart of America's soul and finds that we are lacking. Wait a sec....did I say
America's soul? I meant
the souls of the Left. Contrary to popular Leftist discourse, America's profound sense of togetherness is never as great as when tragedy hits.

On Monday, as I drove back to DFW from Ponchatula, La where I helped my brother cut up trees that had fallen around his mobile home (I kidded him about not having any spinners on it) I was listening to a conservative talk radio show.
On the show a NO refugee called in about his experiences. He is a black man who had experienced racism in Southern Louisiana (it happens) and he had always disliked white people. He went on to tell his story of how he waded for miles through sewage infested waters to get out of NO on his own. When he reached a road, he was stopped by a van full of white people. He was tired and hungry, so he reluctantly (he admitted he was reluctant) accepted a ride. What happened afterwards changed his life.
This man, who had disliked white people for most of his life, found white people digging though their stuff, finding clean clothing to give him. They gave him bottled water and the first bite he had eaten in a couple of days. They spoke with him and hugged him and reminded him that HIS life was precious. They then took him to Houston (where they were headed) He said that when he got there, he saw white people working the volunteer lines, handing out food, water, and clothing. He saw white people greeting survivors with hugs and help. Of course he saw black and hispanic people doing the same but he was basicaly in awe of the majority of volunteers being white.....
So when I hear stories like this and I think of the work I have done so far for my fellow man I can't help but look at Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton and cry BULLSHIT.
BTW, I never saw Jackson or Sharpton out there trying to help anyone. I just saw them on TV doing a lot of bitchin'
How do you end racism. One brother human at a time.

A little story from one of the relief shelters here in Texas.
Most of the refugees have been "out of the loop" since the Hurricane hit, and now at the shelter they are witnessing the full onslaught of political punditry. They're tightly grouped around the few TV screens looking for any information from home and as witnessed by a family friend who was volunteering at the time, one of the National Stations was running a story on the racist response to the tragedy and after only a few short seconds almost every evacuee got up and walked away from the set, disgusted and pissed off.

WTVW raising cash
Randy at
WTVW asks that all his viewers talk this up today. So here goes.
WTWV the Evansville/Vanderburgh County police and the Evansville Otters baseball team are holding a telethon this week to raise money for the American Red Cross for Hurricane relief. Last night a total of 20,020 dollars was raised. Calls will be taken on Thursday and Friday from 6 to 10 pm CDT. Donations can be by credit or debit card or if you prefer give your address and they will send you an envelope and you can pay by check. It's not so much how much you give but scrape up that change out of the couch and send it along.
Cingular Wireless has donated cell phones for our volunteers to take pledges. The following numbers will be used to donate during the three days of the phone-a-thon: (812) 618-6956, 618-6957, 618-6958, and 618-6959.
Then don't forget to log donations and mention The Jawa Report. No matter where you are, let's make our presence known. Also if you prefer note the blogadd for mercycorps on our home page.
Also one more thought. Some of the most effective relief efforts I've seen coverage of are done by churches. So toss an extra buck or two their way as well.
Also the company I work for in my real job has added another 20 grand to the effort bringing thier total to 45,000. Way to go.

Guantanamo Prisoners Advised of their Fifth Amendment Rights
If ever there was a bad idea worse than this, I haven't heard of it.
Hey, let's get the ACLU down to Cuba so they can advise the detainees that they have the right to remain silent! Remember, it was a detainee in Iraq, presumably who hadn't been read the Miranda warning,
who gave up the location of Roy Hallums.
WND:
According to these sources, the ACLU lawyers advised the majority of the prisoners that they did not have to answer questions from military interrogators.
“It’s as if they were shoplifters in the U.S.,” said one source. “The lawyers may have left by now, but the damage is done. We’re sending guys down to interrogate on taxpayer’s dime for absolutely no reason now.”
Apparently, the Pentagon believes the presence of ACLU lawyers at Guantanamo will help persuade the world it can give suspected terrorists a fair trial. The ACLU has been at the forefront of allegations of abuse of prisoners.
Is the Pentagon so naive as to think that
anything they do will molify the hard Left? You know, short of full surrender that is.
Hat tip to Jay Stop the ACLU who has more commentary.

Blanco Prevented Red Cross From Bringing Food and Water To Superdome
It appears that Nagin's hysterical rant should have been directed at his own governor.
The Red Cross is confirming to Major Garrett of Fox News that it had prepositioned water, food, blankets and hygiene products for delivery to the Superdome and the Convention Center in the immediate aftermath of the hurricane, but were blocked from delivering those supplies by orders of the Louisiana state government (State Dept of Homeland Security), which did not want to attract people to the Superdome and Convention Center.
Garrett has no paper trail yet, but will follow up on his verbal confirmation from sources at the highest levels of the Red Cross.
Hugh Hewitt interviewed Garrett after he broke the story. Transcript at Radio Blogger.
The Red Cross backs up Garrett's story on their website here
Update:Confirmation on-camera from a senior Salvation Army official in Washington, D.C. that the Salvation Army was also blocked repeatedly from providing relief and supplies to the beleaugered people suffering in the Superdome and Convention Center.

LGF versus Daily Kos
Little Green Footballs is pointing out a jewel of an article over at
Daily Kos. The title:
17th street levee bombed by the Army Corps of Engineers
Basically the article takes two "witness" discussions and strings them together. Somehow, this is fit to print and is obviously the result of the massive influx of black helicopters to the region. One quote just totally shot down the story for me:
people are afraid to speak out... everyone who was near there heard the bombings... they bombed seven times.
Seven times? That's the Army Corp of Engineers! At most it would have taken two blasts to send that levee to Mexico with a quickness.

It seems that there are rumors on the leftist sites of witnesses claiming that the Army Corp of Engineers blew the levees, but on WNT, the guy clearly put the blame on the city, and not to save the other areas, but to get them....

Carlos,
Poverty is a conspiracy, yes, a conspiracy of silence and denial. A society is measured by the way it looks after its weakest members. America failed in NOLA, while the whole world watched.
It's not about race, even though most who suffered and died were "black" (whatever that means!), and those who pointed guns at them and told them to go back were "white".
It's about class, caste, and wealth. The rich look after themselves and leave the poor to drown, literally, in the filth and mud.
You can turn this into a left/right argument, but you don't help anyone like that. Of course, helping others is something that only civilised societies do. America has slid so far into the depths of criminal selfishness that comments like "dumb fucking niggers deserved to die" are pretty much par for the course.
Wait until it's your turn, buddy, when the gas runs out and your cities turn into deserts. Watch while the ultrarich take what's left and kick you out to die.
And wonder whether this is really what conservatism is meant to be? Kick the poor guy in the balls while you sip champagne?
No. Conservatism is about open economies, small state, self-help, and above all, a solid society based on high moral values.

Actually the news (when offered) out of Afghanistan has been very good for some time. The spring/summer offensive launched by the enemy failed big time with heavy enemy causlties. The only media news covered during that period was the helio shootdown and Seal Team loss - again, media coverage and fascination with these items totally devoid of context with the wider battles. Anyway, a failed major offensive by the enemy tends to bring lots of captured prisoners, materials, documents and other great intel our way. Add to that, the enemy has to move its OPs,CPs, and other set-ups since they can and will have been compromised. An enemy advancing to the rear is an excellent target.

Tammy Imre and Sex With 8-Year-Old Boy
(Bridgeport, Connecticut) Remember Tammy Imre? Last November, the 30-year-old mother was
arrested for a laundry list of charges related to having an ongoing sexual relationship with an 8-year-old neighborhood boy who was her 7-year-old daughter's playmate.
According to her attorney Donald Papcsy, in court today Imre agreed to plead guilty to reduced charges at a scheduled court appearance on Sept. 19. Apparently, she will receive something less than the ten-year minimum for first-degree sexual assault. The agreement allows her to claim an Alford plea where she doesn't plead guilty to all allegations but concedes that there is enough evidence to convict her. Prosecutor George Ganim Jr. wouldn't release any details, but said the victim's mother was satisfied with the terms of the agreement.
Consequently, we'll have to wait until September 19 to learn how long she will be sentenced in the slammer. Interestingly, she's already spent nine months behind bars since she couldn't cough up the $250,000 bail.

Weirdness. I don't know what is stranger - that these weird self-indulgent cultural oddities/perversions take place, or our morbid societal fascination and interest in the story. sure it is strange, but hardly a criminal act. A boy

Markus, Maximus he was 8 you sick twits, EIGHT, he didn't even hit puberty yet.
You must be joking when saying that the boy knew what he wanted. I have a son of the same age as this boy and he has no interest in girls at all yet. If a woman approached him to offer sex he would either simply not understand or run scared. It took considerable guile and seduction on the part of this woman to have sex with him.
I had similar experience when I was a child and it makes me sick to my stomach when I see people trivializing sexual abuse of boys.
The main difference in experience for a girl who was abused by a man and a boy who was abused by a woman is in the "Mrs Robinson attitude" that pervades our society. Women who were abused as children get compassion and understanding, men who were abused get "it's not a big deal" and "you should feel lucky" attitude. The effects of the "he got lucky" attitude is almost identical to the "she asked for it" attitude that used to apply to women.
I know at least one boy who killed himself because of idiots who believed he should feel lucky for being sexually abused. You people don't know squat, you are confusing your adult fantasies with the confusion and emotional turmoil of a child. You in a very real way kill people.

If my 10-year-old son were victimized by this white trash piece of garbage, she would be taking a crap from the new asshole in her forehead. ThatÂ’s how funny this is.

Why is it everyone is screaming about women having sex with boys, but pedophile priests have completely fallen off the radar? Is the former worse than the latter? I'd say if a boy was given the choice, he'd pick the woman every time, rather than getting cornholed. Sure it's wrong, it's illegal, and should be punished, but it's not the worst thing that could happen, and many worse things are happening to many other kids every day. And Larry, your hysterical rant is a little over the top in self righteousness. When I was 8, I was obsessed with girls, so I don't see it as a traumatic thing. Maybe you need to eat some red meat and shoot a gun or something, because you sound like a woman.

Ok I must admit that 8 is young but it is time that we all recognised that a woman having sex with a willing boy is no where near the same as a man having sex with a young girl. Most boys want it and crave it and in 99% of cases no harm is done. Lets get real and admit that a woman deserves a far lighter sentence than a man for this, We should lower the age of consent for boys to 12. To send someone to jail for 20 or 30 years for something so trivial is in itself a crime by society - something akin to the Salem witch trials - in time and as our intelligence evolves - society will see its error of judgement here.

I just have to believe the people who think this is no big deal do not have children.
No parent would make the kind of stupid remarks that have been posted above.
This kid was only 8 years old. I think this rapist should be locked up for life. Anyone who thinks the rape of a child is some kind of joke or the fulfillment of some kind of fantasy is twisted in my view.
Lock her up and throw away the key so she doesnÂ’t ruin another life.

I have to agree with Brad. This is not an 18-year old boy we are talking about here. If this were my son it might be me on trial for taking her out. I just don't think some people realize what something like this could do to a child. Their ignorance is no excuse for such comments as were stated earlier in this thread.

I suppose we're dealing with two different opinions that can come from the same person. When it comes to our own kids, something like this is terrible. But also to ourselves, especially to males (obviously...) it can be comepletely different. No, when I was 8 or 9, I wasn't interested in girls at all. That's because they all still looked like boys with long hair and dresses and pigtails. But I was interested in grown women. And my sexual fantasies at that time involve them.
Look at Madonna. She built her entire fame and fortune and money around being the most obscene and offensive, sexually and politically entertainment figure because she knew that she could get the most money and fame by getting people to argue and hate each other (especially the generation gap between kids and their parents) over what she did. And she did it with a "Nay Nay Nay" attitude no matter how much she caused people to hate each other. Kinda like how a big Oil Company will destroy the enviorment just to make as much money as possible. But NOW the Madonna has kids of her own, she's done a complete 180. Even becoming religous, even if it is to a odd off-shoot cult of judaism. I wonder if she'll let her kids see that picture of her of someone ejaculating in her mouth.
So you see what we have here.....!? Excuse me? What were we talking about? Oh well, have fun with that fellas

IÂ’d rather not talk about you beaten it killdozer.
All IÂ’m saying is if a man or woman rapes an 8-year-old child he/she should not see the light of day again. (That would also include Priests).
Whatever fantasies do or do not exist in the mind of an 8 year old do not mitigate the crime.
And big oil? WTF?

I think she should be put in jail and what she did was wrong: With that said, I was 9 when I had my first with a girl 16. Did I want it? Yes. Did she manipulate me? NO. She was a friend who was showing me something I was interested and curious about.
I think that is the difference. The manipulation I guess. I think it is prevalent for kids/teens/adults to engage in this. Who else are you going to learn from at this age about sex besides someone who has know how?. At least I was not getting wrong information from friends who had no clue. I was shown all the facts. Did it tramautize me> Not at all. IT was a growing up experience and actually help me develop I think.
I'm not condonig the manipulation and forcing of this situation. And I think girls/boys of any age who are curious and wish to experiment, either with other kids or adults, maybe should feel free to do so. It's part of growing up.

If Imre were a man having sex with an 8-year-old boy we wouldn't be arguing that a boy knows what he wants. What if the boy already knows he's gay? I suppose the next thing you'll be telling us is that if Imre were having sex with an 8-year-old girl, that would be okay, too. Face it, 8 is too young. Women can (and do) commit statutory rape. For just a second, remove yourself from your own adolescent fantasies and recognize it for what it is.

A 30 year old retard knows that what she's doing is wrong, an 8 year old boy does not. Bottom line. Even worse, this woman's 7 year old daughter was privy to the whole thing. I would have beat that lady fiercely if she touched my son. They would have to drag me off her, and no man, or boy, or woman would want her for anything sexual after I put a vicious knuckle sugery on that ass. Great, send her to jail so she can be an even weirder sexual deviant when she gets out. Nice work. Vigalante justice would serve her better. And it would be a bloody warning to any other ladies, priests, or other pedofiles not to mess with children. I had a particularly sadistic priest who liked to beat us with a blackjack when I was in catholic school. After I took it from him and openened up a 50 stitch cut on his face with the thing, he quit abusing kids. Now that is justice.

You humans have completely and irrevocably gone off the deep end of wrongness in nearly every way, some of which even I couldn't have imagined in The Beginning. FYI: Sexual acts between two willing participants of opposite gender, no matter what their age, is right and natural. Everything else (rape, homosexuality, bestiality, etc.) is an abomination and will be punished AFTER death. You have MY WORD on that.
So why don't you assholes stop hurting one another and that nice planet I made for you, instead of constantly finding trivial things to bicker endlessly about?

Dumb Quote of the Day
"How come it's so easy to send planes in another country to kill everyone in a second, to destroy lives?"
Celine Dion voicing her anger at the New Orleans rescue delays.
1. It's not. The most ready battalion in the entire United States military takes a bare minimum of 18 hours to deploy. And that's only after they've spent two weeks preparing all of their equipment and everyone is standing by waiting.
2. Because destroying is always easier than the alternative. When you destroy, you can be indiscriminate.
Go back to Canada and sing some more of your horrid music, please.
Oh, but thanks for the million bucks.

Dion like so many (not all) entertainers want to be taked seriously for something other than their (narrowly defined) entertainment talent. They are the evolution of the wandering minstrels and court jesters. They live in neurotic fear that they are perceived as shallow and empty one-trick ponies ... and the trick fades and popularity (extremely important to them) wanes with the fickleness of the audience. They need/crave the attention - it is the most powerful drug to them. The stances they take and utterance they make are obligatory and contrived to suit (and entertain) the insular communities they exist in. They are in essence play acting for their audience - giving them what they (or more often their PR rep) believes the audience (again insular) wants to hear. What does Dion actually believe - I really don't know - I just know what Dion says and everything she/they does is a performance.

I'm so positively flabberghasted at the sheer ignorance some people have when it comes to logistics that it's hard to express. I have a friend who is a pretty smart guy but he simply had
NO clue. He honestly thought that we were able to put 50,000 troops into Haiti on 24 hours notice in 1994. I had to look it up and prove to him that it was closer to 1900 troops.... It didn't get into how long it took to actually get them there.

It took us five days to get ready for the Haiti "invasion." Three of those were spent just rationing out supplies. Ammo, chemlights, shells, MREs, etc. Each soldier had to be provided with two IVs and five pairs of latex gloves due to the horrendous AIDS threat we were going in to.

Yeah,
Years of "one last chance" then months of begging the UN and old Europe to show some resolve is "in a second" but when we can not mobilize a corps of national guardsmen and get them into NOLA overnight it is a intolerable delay.

Lots of ignorance out there! Celine deserves the credit for taking a stand. And I think it was VERY obvious it was not a performance. If it is, well she deserves the Oscar this year!! She pays more taxes than all of you and she can give her opinion even if you don't like it. And while you complain about her, what have YOU done in all of this? Celine, keep up the good work! If people are too patriotic to realize the efforts haven't been appropriate in their own country, it spells MORE TROUBLE TO COME. If you can so easily critize someone is trying to help such as Celine well then what are you waiting for to critize the gov't? You might not like her music, but she deserves credit for donating lots of money and helping out others. She does what she can! And she deserves credit for what she has achieved professionally. She has worked very hard to get where she is and people should not judge her because she has tons of money and is successful. Celine, thanks for being there and helping again and again. By the way, you guys forgot she went to sing in NY City a few days after 9/11, not long after giving birth? How many celebrities would have done that? Way to go Celine!!!!
