Beth Geisel Gets DWI
(Albany, New York) Most people, after finding themselves in a hole, quit digging. Not 42-year-old Sandra "Beth" Geisel. Remember, it's only been a couple weeks since she was indicted for rape of a student in a
high-profile case that has embarrassed and humiliated her children, her husband, her friends, and the Christian Brothers Academy.
Yet today, around 0830 EDT, she decides to drive while sloshed, cuts off a police car, and gets arrested for driving while intoxicated. She blew a 0.13 on the breathalyzer. And this all happened before 9am.
The only explanation I can figure for Geisel's behavior is that she's trying to fortify her contention that the hooch made her commit the rape of a student, or that she's exceedingly stupid. In either case, she's a menace to society.

I would be suprised if she stops here. Looks to me like she's gonna plead insanity. This should help.

She is a danger to herself and those around her, and apparently has been for some time.
Her behavior is not rational and has not been since at least early this year, possibley longer.
She is mentally ill, whether it be extreme addictive behaviors, some sort of extended manic episode or what, and strong mental health measures need to be taken.

This woman needs help. As a parent myself, I would never leave my kids in a motel room & go drinking all night & forget about them. She’s made one bad judgment call after another concerning her own kids & so far she’s been lucky, & the kids have not been hurt or killed. But it’s just a matter of time before her luck runs out & these kids either seriously injured, abducted or killed either by direct or indirect negligence of “mom”.
She’s got an alcohol problem & my guess is that she probably felt the calling of the booze, so she left the kids sleeping in the room at around 10 or 11 pm, went out somewhere all night drinking or God only knows what else, then morning came before she knew it, & in her “drunken fog” found herself lost & probably flagged down those that “stranger” for directions back to her hotel & at that time the police got her.
Right now this woman is a danger to herself, others on the road, & if there are kids in her care, she’s a danger to them as well. She may love her kids very much, but b/c her head is not on straight, she is incapable of being a good, responsible parent to those kids. Her husband & the law need to intervene now, before it’s too late, & we are reading some very sad & unfortunately news about her children instigated by their mom’s inability to think straight. So, yes, I agree, her kids need to be saved from her & she needs to be saved from herself. It doesn’t matter what Beth Geisel says, her family need to put their foot down & not allow her to continue to put these kids in danger by allowing her to have them in her care. Those kids could have been killed in an actual fire, & when the law found out they were “neglected” by their mom while she was drunk & lost on the other side of town, that could have added to the list of charges already against her. Thank God, that didn’t happen. She was lucky! The kids were lucky! But luck has a way of running out & one day so could the lives of Geisel’s children.

She leaves her kids alone in hotel room while she is miles away drunk and picking up alleged crack dealers? Where is the limit to the disgrace this woman will bring on herself, the kids and her family? Why doesn't her husband beat the crap out of her for all of this dishonor she has brought down on him? Heck why doesnt he beat the crap out of her for putting "his" kids in danger the way she did? If those were my kids and anyone did that to them, they surely earn a very bad body hurting from me.

Sexual predator lives out high school fantasy?
August 04, 2005 12:17 PM EST
One has to ask the question, how many of these stealthy child predators are working in our schools, both public and private? Sandra Beth Geisel, a wife currently separated from her banking executive husband, is the latest in a continual outing of female child rapists.
Let's deal with some facts out in the open. Women have been having their way with young, underage and inexperienced boys since forever. Obviously, this doesn't happen to every boy, but it happens far more than society would like to admit. What was once seen as some perverse rite of passage (having your virginity taken by an adult female) is now beginning to be seen for what it truly is - statutory rape.
As men, we are going to have to decide that we and the young men growing up around us have value as human beings. We don't want some psychologically-stank pervert deflowering our young daughters, either forcefully or through suave manipulation, and that goes without saying. However, how serious are we about having that same conviction about our sons? Why should their innocence be written off just because they're males?
Yet, that is the message that society sends through its silence and taps on the wrists of female sexual predators. One has to wonder when enough will be enough and parents, family, close friends and responsible members of society will demand that young boys have their youth as zealously protected as that of young girls.
We all know that men have been preying on young girls and women and that's wrong, period. Now, what are we going to do about women preying on young boys - ignore it as we've done in the past or step up and deal with it like responsible adults? I encourage you to write your Local, State and Federal representatives in government and demand that female sexual predators receive the same sentencing handed down to male offenders.

A popular Des Moines Barber shop had a new robotic barber installed.
A fellow came in for a haircut. As the robot began to cut his hair it asked him, "What's your IQ?"
The man replied, "130." So the robot proceeded to make conversation about physics, astronomy, investments, insurance, and so on. The man listened intently and said, "This is really cool."
Later, another gent came in for a haircut and the robot asked him as it began the haircut, "What's your IQ?"
The man responded, "100." So the robot started talking about football, baseball, and so on. The man thought to himself, "Wow, this is really cool."
Later on, a third guy came in to the barber shop. As with the others, the robot barber asked him, "What's your IQ?"
The man replied, "70." The robot then said, "So, I understand you Democrats are really excited about Hillary running for president?"

A gentleman went to England for his vacation. He spent one evening hitting all the pubs he could find, drinking beer after beer. He then decided to take in some of the sights, but before long realized he needed a bathroom. He had no luck finding a public bathroom so he slunk down a dank alleyway and about around to make sure he wasn't being observed.
As he pulled his zipper down an English Bobby tapped on his shoulder and said, "Sir, you cannot do that here." Well the man was embarrassed and apologized, but explained his predicament to the bobby. The Bobby then said, "I understand. Follow me." He then led the man down a few more streets and anothr dark alley to a gate. He said, "You can go in there, sir."
As the man entered the gate he found himself in a beautiful garden. All the plants and hedges trimmed and all the flowers in perfect bloom. He though, "Wow. This is great." So, with the bobby's blessing, he did his business and went back out the gate.
When he came out, the bobby was still there. The man said, "That was wonderful. So that's what they call English hospitality?"
The bobby replied, "No, sir. That is what we call the French Embassy."

Missed Me Missed Me
now ya gotta, eh, nevermind.
AMMAN,
Jordan (AP) - Unknown assailants fired at least three missiles from
Jordan early Friday, with one narrowly missing a U.S. Navy ship docked
at port, an attack that killed a Jordanian soldier. One missile fell
close to an airport in neighboring Israel, officials said.
Further down in the story they say it was a mortar, which isn't a missile, but, that's the informed media for you. It's neither here nor there anyway. No matter what was fired, the firees should be bowing towards the black rock in gratitude that they missed.

Clarance Thomas Redux
At least that's what the lefties are trying to make out of the John Roberts confirmation hearings. Once again, they are attempting to put him on trial for his beliefs. The only difference is that with Thomas they tried attacking him with things that are actually illegal. This time, they're so hard up to find anything that they can use on him that they're simply attacking the fact that he might not agree with them.
Washington, DC (LifeNews.com) -- Not content to stay on the political sidelines shouting their opposition to John Roberts' nomination to the Supreme Court, the National Organization of Women (NOW), a leading abortion advocacy group, wants to testify during the Senate Judiciary Committee hearings slated for September 6. The organization, which testified in 1981 in support of the nomination of outgoing pro-abortion Justice Sandra Day O'Connor, has formally requested to testify at has formally requested to testify at the Roberts hearings. NOW President Kim Gandy sent a letter to Judiciary Committee Chairman Arlen Specter, a Pennsylvania Republican. "After a thorough examination of the available record of the nominee, NOW has concluded that his confirmation represents a danger to many of the rights for which we have worked so hard," Gandy wrote in the letter. "To confirm John G. Roberts to fill the seat [O'Connor] held for 24 years would jeopardize [abortion rights]."
I think that spells out pretty clearly what they are trying to do. Of course what they are doing, at least in my eyes, is revealing themselves for exactly what they are. A politically motivated group who cares nothing for the good of the country as long as their agenda is forwarded as much as possible.
Come to think of it, the abortion industry has to be the most radical, extreme group that I've ever come across. Nearly every other group that you can think of in the United States accepts boundaries and government restrictions on what it can and cannot do. Certainly anything that may be dangerous does. And yet when restrictions of any type, even basic safety standards, are placed on abortionists, NOW, NARAL, Planned Parenthood and the ACLU scream, cry and whine like their world is ending. I'm fairly certain at this point that Roberts will be confirmed, just as Thomas was confirmed before him. Hopefully he'll give these extremist groups the good, hard does of reality that they all so richly deserve as well.

Since the Bar Assoc. has given Roberts their approval, Leahy is saying that the Bar Assoc. is unreliable. However, when they gave other justices (read: liberal judges) their approval, Leahy called them the "gold standard" by which judges are judged. Now, is that hypocrisy or stupidity? I forget.
Interestingly enough, Thomas got the lowest rating from the Bar.

As far as IÂ’m concerned, if Frist wants to continue as Majority leader and Spector wants to continue as Judiciary Committee chair, they had better produce a Supreme Court Justice out of this nominee.
This majority in the Senate and the mandate from the last election is to be used. If the ACLU, NOW, Planned Parenthood and NARAL can succeed in telling America that a person who attends Church and believes in God is not acceptable as a Supreme Court Justice, we will loose the only opportunity we have to balance the Judicial branch in this country.
Frist better be ready to fight to win, if not, he should be thrown out.

Yes, actus, because we all know that his personal feelings and beliefs are so much more important than little things like our laws and the constitution. After all, his feelings are exactly what he should be basing his decisions on.
/sarcasm
We've had 15 years of justices basing decisions on feelings instead of the law, and look at where it's gotten us. I think I'd prefer a justice who actually reads the Constitution for a change.

Rusty's Blogger Military Service Survey
Regarding Rusty's
military service survey of the blogosphere, a commenter objects:
Its disgusting that you legitimize this fraudulent meme of the Left, Rusty.
The meme SPQR is talking about is the often-repeated phrase "chickenhawk" tossed at war supporters who haven't served in the military, or (since G.W. Bush is a veteran, and therefore passes the test) haven't served in combat. Yes, it is a meme, but Rusty isn't legitimizing it. In fact, quite the opposite.

I followed an argument on a blog last year whereby one person called the other a chickenhawk. The recipient of the insult said he had indeed served in the military. The insulter got snippy and said, "What were you? A pot scrubber?" the other fellow said (I'll paraphrase because I can't find the actual words again), "Actually, I was a bomb technician. And before you have anymore inane questions or comments, yes, my time was mostly spent bored to tears punctuated occasionally with moments of sheer terror. And I had as much respect for the guys who washed dishes, typed reports and mopped floors. They all had a purpose and deserve respect." The insulting party never returned. If he had any character at all, he would have apologized.
THAT TOO is why Rusty's project has merit. Idiots like that guy.

Yeah, I saw Starship Troopers the other night too, and couldn't help thinking of the enigmatic connection between Heinlein's fictionalized attitudes and modern resistance to the GWOT and Iraq. You'll never hear anyone in the Bush admin utter anything like Doogie Howser's line, "I send thousands of people just like you to their deaths every day; I'm sorry if that sounds harsh to you. But listen, boys and girls, we're in it for the species. It's simple numbers - they have more."
But the main problem I have is one of the premises in the Chickenhawk discourse, that military/combat experience gives one
moral authority. Morality is concerned with what is right, what is good, and what is virtuous, and, according to the
American Heritage Dictionary, is "based on strong likelihood or firm conviction, rather than on the actual evidence: a moral certainty.
I believe people, deceptively or otherwise, are substituting the use of "moral" for "empirical," meaning "Relying on or derived from observation or experiment: empirical results that supported the hypothesis;" or "Verifiable or provable by means of observation or experiment: empirical laws" or "Guided by practical experience and not theory, especially in medicine." The problem with this is that one person's empirical observations prove useful only in terms of what they themselves can replicate, such as how to behave in combat, but not in terms of applying this to a larger, unrelated sphere, such as strategy. Even a greater sampling of soldiers will only yield information on how to soldier, not how to strategize a war.
So whatever the anti-chickenhawks call themselves, they have no more authority on the war in Iraq to claim, moral or otherwise, than any other informed observer, unless you change the argument entirely. I therefore find Rusty's correlation between service, bias and opinion to be very interesting.

This certainly extends Markos's expertise from the military to foreign policy. He was almost in a war and, now we come to learn, that Markos almost worked at the State department.
{Jerome} Armstrong: Markos started reading MyDD in 2001, and was one of the first people to write comments on my postings. He emailed me to tell me he was starting his own blog, Fishy Shark in 2002, which I linked to. Later, he started DailyKos.
We started e-mailing back and forth, and
he {Kos}told me near the end of that year (2002) that he was going to stop blogging because he was about to start working for the State department.
I was already talking to the Dean folks and Trippi was asking me to build a blog and other stuff. I knew Markos had a strong computer background, and so I invited him up to Portland where I was living, and so we gelled in a day or two.
cite
This sort of parallels the story of Fidel Castro, then aspiring baseball pitcher, not getting called up by the Yankees back in the 50s. Had Markos gone to work at the State Department, had DailyKos not gone through its growth and had the influence that it did -- who knows what would have happened?
My guess: President Kerry.
~ and ~
not to mention now the State Department has lost out on that clear-headed pragmatic world view that Markos "You know the Quote" Moulitsas brings to the table.
Thanks, Kos!!

Actually, I think the term "moral authority" is misleading, because it simply means that the person who has it also has a low probability of being hypocritical in terms of physical courage. I have no problem with that, but it's different from "moral clarity," which has a great deal more to do with morality, justice, and even validity. There's also experiencial and expert authority.
I agree that everyone ought to be paying some price for this war, and it's ironic that one reason it has become unpopular is precisely because the costs are borne so narrowly. We aren't yet invested in it, as a nation.

fwiw - I think it's reasonable to ask "If you support the War, what have you done in support of this war?" Some non-enlist, train, deploy to Iraq options would include:
* donate blood - You've had 12 opportunities to donate blood since the war started, how many times have you actually donated blood?
* donate time/money - Have you donated time or money to a charitable cause for either the troops or the families of the troops.
There doesn't have to be a specific level reached for either dollars or blood, but people who just bang away on a keyboard on either side might consider doing either of the above.

Finn, I'm guessing GW could have been in the Marines and it wouldn't have been valid in your eyes - his privileged background provides the obscuring lens for any of his accomplishments to certain dog-in-the-manger types, and the permanently politically opposed, such as Democrats and liberals. And, by the standards of the chickenhawk argument, you'd have had to serve in order to criticize. Maybe you have.
Dem, I wonder if the whole notion of "authority" isn't another linguistic red herring. When words have their meanings twisted and facts such as pre-war intelligence are regularly discounted by one side, it's difficult to have much faith in managing a reasonable discussion. Such chicanery is typical of people who will use any means to get what they want.
You mentioned on my post that there was a use of the term, moral authority. Is this among historians? I'm liberal arts, so I have some history along with the social sciences and lit. In my academic and personal reading, I've never come across it. Thanks.

Completly Beyond Reason
Those who believe in the adage "when it rains, it pours" might take the tale of the plaintiffs in Kelo v. New London as a cue to buy two of every animal and a load of wood from Home Depot. The U.S. Supreme Court recently found that the city's original seizure of private property was constitutional under the principal of eminent domain, and now New London is claiming that the affected homeowners were living on city land for the duration of the lawsuit and owe back rent. It's a new definition of chutzpah: Confiscate land and charge back rent for the years the owners fought confiscation.
In some cases, their debt could amount to hundreds of thousands of dollars. Moreover, the homeowners are being offered buyouts based on the market rate as it was in 2000.
Yes, you read that right. Not only have these people wrongfully had their homes taken by one of the stupidest Supreme Court decisions in our nation's history, but they are then told that they have to pay rent on their own property for the duration of the lawsuit. I'm certain that some (if not all) will sue, and if they lose this one, someone needs to be impeached.

We thought we were outraged when the decision came down? This is absolutely insane. I hope Kennedy, Souter, Ginsburg, Stevens and Breyer are proud of themselves. They should all be taken out along with the officials of New London and summarily shot.

So now who still thinks it isn't yet time to take up arms? Welcome to the new age of imperialism in the New World, only this time it isn't Mad King George who is the enemy, but our own governments. The people of New London should have a tea party, but instead of tea, throw the city government into the bay, complete with concrete shoes.

Chuck Hagel's Fretful Vision
My frickin' satellite TV is out, so I'm relying an a backup that has only CNN. Today, on the Wolfe Blitzer Show (or whatever it's called)
Chuck Hagel was allowed, or encouraged, to pontificate in an especially headstrong manner. I'm going to have to paraphrase his remarks, because I just don't have access to the transcript yet, but essentially he responded to a question about crafting an "informed opinion" on Iraq with something like:
"Well, all I can do is rely on the same information available to the public, all of which seems to suggest that we're losing, rather than winning, in Iraq." [There were some references suggesting that electricity production is down, etc..]
Well, I beg to differ "Chuck" but you're a Senator who, presumabaly, has access to a great deal more information than we have as a private citizens. Plus you're pulling down the big bucks for your level of authority and responsibility. So just where do you get off making a statement claiming that you're just one of the crowd who sees Cindy Sheehan as credible?

LB:
Why do so many senators delude themselves into believing they are of presidential timbur?
Well, in my capacity as a campaign manager for a couple of races, one for US Representative and one for State Representative, I can take a fairly educated guess. Basically everyone serving in office nowadays has to run a more or less perpetual campaign, which means that a serving Senator or Congressman always has people around him/her whose sole job is to promote every remotely positive feature of that politician, and to downplay everything that's remotely negative. The entire focus of the entourage is on the politician, so they're constantly getting this distorted feedback about themselves convincing them that they're damn near flawless human beings, wiser than Solomon and braver than Achilles. For most of us mortals, that sort of thing turns our heads. It takes a real mensch to maintain a realistic sense of self with all that going on, and there just aren't many around.

Chinese Propaganda: "US Troops Hold Iraqi Children Hostage"
It's so surreal that it's almost funny. The reason many in the world hate us--and the reason many terrorists believe they are engaged in a noble cause-- is because they read stories like this and believe them.
People's Daily:
US troops held five children as hostages to demand handover of insurgents near a northern Iraqi town on Tuesday, police said.
"The US forces surrounded the village of Mazraa near Baiji and detained five children under 10 years old, calling on the residents by loudspeakers to hand over several other children showed on TV channels celebrating the killing of US soldiers after roadside blast last week," a police source from Baiji told Xinhua on condition of anonymity.
The US troops threatened to sweep the village by Wednesday morning to detain the other children and suspected insurgents, he said.
The US military, however, said they had no information about the incident.

Can anyone prove it could not have happened? Since this logical paradox of "if you can't prove that there's no way it exists, it exists" works with gods and such, it applies here as well.
If it's true I suspect some guys were grumpy and drunk
(since the noble art of making booze out of rations has been known here for 500 years, your guys should know it as well) and figured they should get some revenge. Your army has a tainted recent history with kids, maybe they moved the guys paying African kids candy for sex and the guys who had sex with minors in Japan to Iraq.
(in case you didn't know, ever since WWII you've had a base in Japan, since they weren't allowed to have an army for a while and they needed one to avoid becoming Chinese)
Suspected response: "WHAT?!?! NEVER HEARD, NEVER HAPPENED, SOSIALIST BASTARD!"
Not sosialist, centrist, and yes it did happen since it was in the news here and EuroNews with big headlines, victims and interviews, and there's no way anyone can prove it could not have happened.

Terri Hatcher Uses Sex Toys, Needs Gigilo
Terri Hatcher reveals that she uses sex toys and has contemplated hiring a giglo. Let me introduce myself:Rusty Shackleford, male prostitute.
Via Interested Participant who says what we're all thinking, this from Daily Record:
The star, who has just turned 40, confessed she is often too busy to date and has to rely on sex toys.
And in a frank interview, she said she has given serious thought to paying a gigolo.
Teri said: "You know, I once thought of what it would be like to hire a male hooker."
Am I the only one who's prurient interests are piqued by a sentence that contains
Terri Hatcher and sex toys in it? If I am, you probably don't want to read on and view the photos.

Jihad Comes Back to Bosnia
Followers of this will not be surprised, but evidence continues to mount that Bosnia is becoming the focus point for global jihadis in training. But, wait, I thought Bosnia........??
AINA:
Terrorists who previously targeted the U.S. are now in Bosnia, where they have access to a "one-stop shop" of jihad training camps, weapons and illegal Islamic 'charities' -- all at the doorstep of Europe, terrorism experts said.
"[Convicted terrorist] Karim Said Atmani recently returned to Bosnia after being released early from French prison for 'good behavior,'" terrorism expert and author Evan Kohlmann said.
Atmani, a Moroccan, was linked to the "millennium bomb plot" and convicted by a French court of colluding with Osama bin Laden. He has been linked to the Armed Islamic Group (GIA), an organization responsible for airplane hijackings and subway bombings in France...
Also finding haven in Bosnia is Abu el Maali, who like Atmani, was a foreign national who fought in the Bosnia war. El Maali was later accused by French authorities of attempting to smuggle explosives in 1998 to an Egyptian terrorist group plotting to destroy U.S. military installations in Germany. He was also accused of leading terrorist cells in Bosnia, Pakistan and Afghanistan.
"This activity is very significant," said Kohlmann. "Senior members of the former Muslim Brigade and their top commanders are still there, and they're still active."....
Cybercast News Service has also obtained a video that terrorism analysts say depicts an active jihad training camp in Bosnia-Herzegovina, a region previously described by analysts as an ideal gateway for terror missions into Europe.
The video, which is over four minutes in length, shows outdoor maneuvers, explosives training and training inside what appears to be a school gym. Exercises in hostage-taking are also shown....
The presence of active jihadist camps in Bosnia-Herzegovina was also confirmed by attorney and counter-terrorism expert Darko Trifunovic, who previously served as a diplomat in the foreign service of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Kohlmann said that the main camps used during the war have been closed, and a different tactic for jihad training has emerged: disguising them as youth camps. "These days, usually the kind of jihad camp you'll see in Bosnia and other countries are so-called 'youth camps.'" They are usually led by a former member of the mujahadeen, someone with military experience, and perhaps a fundamentalist cleric, said Kohlmann....
Al Qaeda cells were set up in Bosnia in the early 1990s by Ayman al Zawahiri, Osama bin Laden's right-hand man, and bin Laden was said to visit the area twice in the mid-1990s," Brown added. "Iran was very involved in supporting the Islamist separatist movement in Bosnia, and Hezbollah was doing training there in the 1990s."
Training also takes place inside youth centers and school gyms, according to Trifunovic....
Fortunately, all the experts seem to be in agreement that Bosnian Muslims are far more likely to be secular in orientation than Muslims of other countries. Unfortunately, it only takes a small number of well trained people to commit major acts of terrorism. Hat tip:
Evan Kohlmann.

Well I for one am glad we bombed the crap out of the Serbs and stopped them from wiping out the muslims, especially since it's paying such great peace dividends now. Why is it every time a dhimmicrat is in ofice, things only get worse?

Lot of Muslims victimized
(as in made into victims by something) by a quite recent ethnic cleansing
(you know, Slobodan and his merry fellows...)
+
Terrorists looking for a place where there absolutely
can't be any prejudice against Muslims due to pity or such
=> Wooptiedoo, let's go to Bosnia, we'll be safe there, and it's in Europe, so no-one can attack us...
Weeeeell, they're wrong, since the army is moving peacetime forces to offense, I mean peacekeepers, with some darn heavy assault gear and units we traditionally consider to be invasion forces
(Who needs bomber aircraft and saboteurs when peacekeeping?). Who knows, maybe we'll start "peacekeeping" all the EU:s neighbours
(not Russia, since politically we apparently like them now that we got trade going like back in the Soviet days) and countries that have problems with EU rules and regulations... Balkan-unit has already been doubled and re-equipped this summer. Next stop: Aceh.
Finns getting involved in world politics has usually led to a world war
(kicked all that Turkey booty back to Asia and Russians make Balkan a puzzle of independent countries that Austria nibbles bites of => wooptiedoo their emperor gets shot there, WWI. Slaughtered that Soviet horde of millions on the Kannas in Winter War => wooptiedoo Hitler thinks they're weak and starts spreading faster, WWII) or barbarian invasion
(started using flamebombs and iron-tipped arrows and raiding back at them => Swedish Vikings notice it's easier to go south and loot everything along the rivers and create Novgorod the early Russia on their way to Black Sea. Chased those Sami people west and north => famine in Norway due to sudden population growth so Norse and Danish Vikings utterly destroy and conquer Britain France and Sicily), but I'm sure this time it's different... not.
Completely irrelevant? Yes I know, but I'm bored yet not sleepy.

Why don't we just let the Serbs deal with this? Oh, wait, I forgot...NATO decided that the best thing to do was to bomb them, handcuff them, and allow Islamofascists a prime training ground and stepping stone to western Europe. Oh yeah, and I'm still waiting to see evidence of this "genocide" we were all told was going on. What a fucking joke.

Never understood stance against the Serbs. We should have been on their side. Who the hell was president then?

I've been having problems with site meter for the past couple of days. There are hours with no visitors, when just a couple of days ago there were at least 15-20 per hour.

I thought Satan killed all Jobs friends, family and cattle, collapsed his house, ruined his crops and gave him horrible diseases while God was checking poor old Jobs suspiciously fanatic loyalty level. Well, don't worry, it turned out okay in the end, the Bible-Job got new wife/wives and kids and stuff after God decided he was loyal enough.

He did, but what pissed Job off the most was that his friends blamed him for his misery and abandoned him in a time of need.
