Tin Soldiers and Schmidt is coming

Also today in Ohio there is a special election with two pretty good candidates. IÂ’m not from Ohio so IÂ’ll keep my nose out of it. Well maybe not.

We have a conservative Marine Corps Democrat VS a established well rounded Republican candidate. ItÂ’s a pretty conservative district too. I think Hackett has a chance but for that fact that all the moderates that might vote for him will be at the mall ignoring politics and running up credit card debt. So I think Schmidt will probably win. IÂ’m jealous Ohio has two pretty good candidates here. Good race to watch, well the about the only one to watch right now.

Californiaaaaaa!!!!!

I’ve been getting an email every so often from California conservative. I must say that having the time to review and get up a post for me is a pain. Lately I noted that the emails have stopped. Can’t say I blame him. I mean he has taken the trouble to email me and I’ve failed to give it proper attention. One of my projects this week besides sucking air on the blog is to link up and give credit to those that have helped me in my new blogging adventure. So guest posters and regulars email me because I’m working on a post for Sunday to give all of you the credit you deserve for helping out the Jawa while Rusty has been away. I don’t want to miss anyone. So send me your name and site url if you have one and I’ll shamelessly give you a plug this weekend. Right, middle, way right, sort of kind of left I don’t care just no far left crap. Yes the far left scares me far more than the far right. How many times can I use the word “far”. Far more than I think I should. I should look further for more words to replace far or derivatives thereof.

So on to the California Conservative.

It seems Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger has been having a tough time of late. The new has kind of work off and now the real work is going on. Hey I can relate Arnold. We all get those days where nothing goes right. It seems the Gov is getting some support from an unlikely source here. Check it out to see who it is.

Moonbats in the Academy Promote the Grand 9/11 CIA/Mossad Conspiracy

Many of us that teach at the University level belong to various forums or listserves that are set up to foster discussion and keep each other up to date with current research. The following is from The American Society for International Law's listserve. It was forwarded to me by a colleague who remarks that while the Society's discourse is the mundane kind of anti-Americanism generally found in academia, the level of discussion has reached new lows of moonbattery lately.

Subject: 9/11 - Pentagon

Dear All,

Please forgive me for re-generating a widely discussed topic. Since 2001, there had been numerous documentaries on different tele channels as to how the planes hit the Towers and the Pentagon. Innthis regard, the movie clips of the planes hitting the towers are very clear. But so far as the jet hitting the Pentagon is concerned, i have never seen a single picture or movie clip showing even a single piece of a plane found from the debris in Pentagon. Does anyone have any information regarding this ??

Regards.

Faisal.

Many in the forum took umbrage to Faisal, but his remarks must have forced the tin-foil off at least one member of The American Society for International Law. Especially forceful in his defense against this insanity is Dr. Rich Edwards, of the University of Toledo, referred to in the text below. Mr. Davidson is a human rights activist, born in Israel but living in Iceland. I've deleted references to his website, a left-wing conspiracy site wrapped in a facade of human-rights, since the man clearly is looking for attention:

I fully empathize with the difficulty Rich Edwards has to believe that the official story on 9/11 may be untrue. It is certainly easier to believe that a bearded Muslim in an Afghan cave who, we are told, issued blood-curling threats against Americans and Jews, would mastermind 9/11 than slick American politicians with their slick assistances who speaking buddy-buddy with journalists. Nevertheless, those who have studied US foreign policy within the last century, cannot fail to perceive a long trail of deception, covert operations, attempts at assassinating foreign leaders, unwarrented and extremely bloody wars against other nations and incredible reckless of American
lives expended in those wars. This does not necessarily mean that the current administration enginerred 9/11, but it means that we cannot simply dismiss such a scenario out of hand because we find it difficult to stomach. There is much circumstancial evidence that suggests official complicity in 9/11.

Let us also remember than most mass murderers in dark suits were and are charming psychopaths (see my collection "Charming international "criminals" at www.xxxxxxxxx ), able to create a positive image of themselves and escape scrutiny.

Finally, I urge Rich Edwards to take more seriously those serious researchers who have unearthed hundreds of anomalies, misrepresentations, omissions and lies in the official account of 9/11. Their work deserves more than a sweeping dismissal. What if they are right ?

Respectfully,

Elias Davidsson

But there's more from Mr. Davidsson. Much, much more. Read to the last paragraph where Davidsson, a Jew, implicates the Mossad in 9/11.

Mr. Edwards refers, as it seems to statements made by the then Solicitor General Olson regarding alleged phone conversations between himself and his wife who was allegedly flying on AA77 and crashing on the Pentagon. Olson is a person who said in the Supreme Court that under some circustances, US officials are justified to lie. His statements including this statement are no proof that AA77 flew on the Pentagon. No court would accept his statement as positive proof of fact. The US government has not presented much more compelling evidence, such as photographs of wreckage and video recordings of the flying object, let alone did it produce any remains of the alleged hijackers of that flight. Yet it had almost four years to produce such evidence.

The US government had ample time and opportunity to produce positive proof that the named 19 Muslims actually boarded the aircraft which they allegedly hijacked. It had ample time and opportunity to explain why WTC nr. 7 collapsed at the speed of a free-falling stone. Yet instead of producing incriminating evidence, the US government thwarted investigations into this monumental crime, failed to convict a single person for complicity in that crime, failed to charge alleged Al Qaeda leaders under its custody, announced its disinterest in chasing Osama bin Laden and gagged people who have witnessed various aspects of the crime. Does any reader claim that I invent these facts? Aren't these facts sufficiently disturbing to cause pause forthought?

It is facile to knock down the strawman that "no Jews were killed in the 9/11 attack". Certainly this claim is wrong. Many Jews died in the attacks. This claim can, however, be traced back to its origin. The origin of the story was a report in Jerusalem Post of 12 September 2001, that the Israeli Foreign Embassy was concerned about the fate and whereabouts of 4,000 Israelis [that is Israeli citizens] believed to be in the area of the World Trade Center in New York. It was not explained in the report from where the figure 4,000 came, nor was the figure denied later. In the final count not a single Israeli employee of the World Trade Center died on 9/11. According to the New York Times, one Israeli, a casual visitor, died in the WTC on 9/11 and two Israeli died as passengers in the allegedly hijacked planes. We still are owed an explanation of the discrepancy between the figure 4,000 and 0.

Self-Promotion

Part of having the keys to Rusty's site is the ability to post links to your own posts. I've stayed away from this . . . until now.

There is much "controversey" over President Bush giving a recess appointment to John Bolton. I've looked into the future and heard what went on at the Ambassador's first 'Meet and Greet'.

Hopefully the tyrannical rule of Howie and Mad Dog Vinnie will allow this self-promotion. If not, I shall delete their posts for I am just that evil.

The Perfect Answer To IslamoFascism

While putzing around the blogosphere I found this image that screamed out at me as the weapon of choice for terror cells and the neighborhoods that support them.

moab1.jpg
(image from Time Hath Found Us)

It might be a little bit of overkill (pun intended), but I think it would only take one or two before we'd see some mosques shut down in a heart beat(or over the lack of one).

If you fund a terrorist, you are a terrorist(and you get a MOAB), if you hide a terrorist, you are a terrorist (and you get a MOAB), if you offer assistance of any kind to a terrorist, you are a terrorist (and you get a MOAB), and if you are a terrorist, you get two MOABS, one for your immediate location, and one for your country of origin.

I know, it's getting a little late for me too! I'm just mad as hell and I'm sick and tired of hearing the word Islam and everything about it.

A great big hat tip to Tom Spence at Time Hath Found Us, who has his own message for the image.

I bet all jawas can agree on this.

Well my good Senator Mr. DICK Durbin of Illinois is at it again. Hey I take it out on all parties. If I disagee I say so. It seems DICK shot off at the mouth again. I've been looking for a good Democrat to vote for you know a moderate conservative honest one. Good luck Howie. Yes I'm a big fat swing voter. Kind of out of place aren't I, a moderate in a sea of heavy right wingers. But if this is the guy they are going to put on the ballot for me. Well sorry I just can't do it. Actually I've only Voted for two Democrats that I can recall. Simon and Poshard VS Ryan (that's George Ryan the crook). At least on a state or national level. In local races where I know people I tend to go more by the person than by the party.

From my ILL Republican newsletter dated 07/29.

DURBIN LEAKED INACCURATE INFORMATION TO TURLEY.U.S. Senator Dick Durbin went back on a previous denial that he was the leak for Jonathon Turley's Los Angeles Times column, published Monday, where it claimed that when Durbin asked what Supreme Court Nominee John G. Roberts would do if faced with a case that conflicted with his Catholic upbringing Roberts said he would have to recuse himself from a judgment. Turley had verified his conversation with Durbin's press secretary before publishing the story but was rebuked Tuesday by the Senator's office. On Wednesday, Durbin admitted that he was indeed the source for the column but that the account was inaccurate because Turley never identified himself as a journalist. "He (Senator Durbin) made a serious mistake that could have had major implications on the nomination process," Illinois Republican Party Chairman Andy McKenna said, "Senator Durbin's actions are disrespectful to both the integrity of t he process and the people of Illinois who demand the highest level of honesty from their U.S. Senator. (Washington times 7/27/05)

Also seems we have some out of state influence in the 8th district here in ILL.

·BEAN CAN'T RAISE CASH IN THE 8th. U.S. Rep. Melissa Bean (D-8 IL) has been raising a lot of campaign cash, the only problem is that only 7% of her individual contributors are from her district. In her Q2 FEC report, Bean raised more than $130,000 through liberal pro- choice fundraising conduit Emily's List out of Washington D.C. and over fifty percent from individuals outside of Illinois. "Melissa Bean needs to ask herself which group she wants to represent, the people of the 8th district or the people in Washington D.C.," Andy McKenna said, "The evident lack of support will catch up to her in the voting booth."

Well mark another one off the list.

Religion of Peace(sic) Update - Some Of Today's 'Islamic Terror' - related Activities Around The World

First of all, a visual reminder of the Islamic agenda - courtesy of the AP and CBS (blogstorm needed), although their intention was to promote the Islamization of America, not to make us Islamo-aware (info and image previously posted).

crescent&stripes.jpeg.jpg
[Image from an AP/CBS article on a phoney fatwa by terrorist supporting Islamists]

Chad at InTheBullPen provides us a very good reminder that, contrary to moonbatism, the Islamofascists were busy at trying to convert the world to Islam through violent jihad, long before Iraq. Read Chad's Bin Laden Funded Jakarta Attack; Iraq as a ‘Cause’ a Shift in Tactics? While at InTheBullPen, Chad also has a piece on Osama Bin Laden directing terrorist attacks within Saudi Arabia that provides us another little reminder that the 'religion of peace(sic)' is more about world domination and politics than theology and spiritual inspiration.

The LA Times has news that some senior authorities say there is enough anecdotal evidence to warrant concern, and suggest that whatever radicalized the British bombers could presumably also motivate Americans who have embraced Islamic extremist views expressed on websites and chat rooms, in radical mosques and elsewhere. (so when is this news and when have we had any doubts about terror cells in the U.S.? )

Victor Comras has a piece at TheCounterterrorism Blog on the funding of Iraqi insurgents coming from wealthy private donors in the Middle East and elsewhere, as well as former elements of Saddam Hussein's Baathist regime. Apparently, some experts speculated at the time of the first Gulf War that Saddam had over $5 billion stashed away in addition to the $5 billion Iraqi assets located at that time. Since then, Saddam and his cronies may have raked in more than $7-10 billion through various schemes, kickbacks, extortions, and other illicit methods. The oil for food scams were only one such source of SaddamÂ’s money. And very little of this money has yet been accounted for. (in other words, the insurgency is well funded, it's leaders are well protected in Syria, and the killing isn't going away anytime soon unless we can dry up the funds and bring a halt to Syria's participation in the terror in Iraq, and, you better believe it - elsewhere as well!)

The TimesOnline.com (UK) offers up the good news that over the past fortnight Israeli intelligence agents have noticed something distinctly odd happening on the internet - one by one, Al-QaedaÂ’s affiliated websites have vanished until only a handful remain. (Oh heck, how could that be? Must be those pesky 'British Intelligence' folks!)

"Someone has cut the line of communication between the spiritual leaders(now that's a sick as hell connotation - since when is there anything 'spiritual' about murder and mayhem?) of international terrorism and their supporters." Apparently, since 9/11 the websites have been the main links to disseminate propaganda and information to Islamofascists around the world.

The News.Telegraph tells us that Scotland Yard is investigating evidence that the two waves of terrorist attacks on London this month may have been masterminded from Saudi Arabia. (Seems as though we;ve been down this road before.)

The News.telegraph.com also provides a handy "London terror factfile" for a review of most of the happenings related to the London attacks.

Sky News reports that London police are still on high alert amid fears that a third terrorist cell could be plotting another strike on the capital. Thousands of officers are on the streets and guarding Tube and overland rail stations as the huge security operation continues. (As with the Lodi case in the U.S., we're barely seeing the tip of the iceberg relative to the number of potential terrorists and existing cells in Britain)

In the Middle East Times we see that Iraqi women are split over how great a role Islam should play in the new constitution, currently being drafted in parliament, with some fearing "a return to the Dark Ages". An early draft of the constitution published in the local Al Sabah newspaper on Tuesday made clear that Islam is to be "the official religion of the State" and "the main source of legislation".

Women covered.jpg

(Apparently Iraq's women are split over Sharia becoming the law in Iraq, and wouldn't be too happy about this becoming the dress code for women. I wonder how well this would go over with American women?)
The text of the document is supported by the conservative Shia majority in Iraq's parliament, and reads "No law that contradicts the universally agreed tenets of Islam may be enacted." But it's still up for discussion by a parliamentary committee and subject to revision. The parliamentary speaker, Hajim Al Hasani, has made it clear that he doesn't believe that it means the rule of Sharia, or Islamic law, and has said that he thinks there's an agreement [in parliament] that they should not include Sharia in the constitution." Luckily for the women, he says that "There are different interpretations of Sharia law," so "why open that door"? (But many of the women want no part of even thinking about sharia, and if that's coming from Muslim women, we all better think a little harder about that Islamic agenda we keep hearing about and work together a lot harder to prevent the AP/CBS's new flag for America becoming a reality!)

In what I consider the MUST READ of the day, there's an opinion piece in The Middle East Times by Youssef M. Ibrahima, former Middle East correspondent for The New York Times, energy editor of the Wall Street Journal, and managing director of the Dubai-based Strategic Energy Investment Group, entitled "The Muslim Mind Is On Fire."

(...) The world of Islam is on fire. Indeed, the Muslim mind is on fire. Above all, the West is now ready to take both of them on.

(...) The only accomplishment of jihadis is that now they have aroused the great "Western Tiger". There was a time when the United States and Europe welcomed Arab and Muslim immigrants, visitors and students, with open arms. London even allowed all dissidents escaping their countries to preach against those countries under the guise of political refugees.

(...) Well, that is all over now. Time has become for the big Western vengeance.

The most important message to both the Islamists AND the naysayer moonbats in the West, particularly the members of the KOS-set, comes in Ibrahima's closing in which he writes:
I fear those naïve Muslims who think that they are beating the West have now achieved their worst crime of all. The West is now going to war against not only Muslims, but also, sadly, Islam as a religion.

In this new cold and hot war, car bombs and suicide bombers here and there will be no match for the arsenal that those Westerners are putting together - an arsenal of laws, intelligence pooling, surveillance by satellites, armies of special forces and indeed, allies inside the Arab world who are tired of having their lives disrupted by demented so-called jihadis or those bearded preachers who, under the guise of preaching, do little to teach and much to ignite the fire, those who know little about Islam and nothing about humanity.

To recap, from 'us Westerners' the Islamists face an arsenal of laws, intelligence pooling, surveillance by satellites, armies of special forces and indeed, allies inside the Arab world who are tired of having their lives disrupted by demented so-called jihadis or those bearded preachers who, under the guise of preaching, do little to teach and much to ignite the fire, those who know little about Islam and nothing about humanity.

So isn't time that we get on with it? Maybe I should re-phrase that with - LETS GET IT ON! It's time to light up a heck of a lot more than the Muslim mind. It's time to shut down mosques with jihadi-preaching imams, profile people likely to commit acts of terror - not little old ladies and the like, stop allowing Islamic immigrants in the country and kick the ones that are here and have doubtful ambitions - out of the country to their country of origin, shut down our borders tighter than Fort Knox, stalk terrorists and kill them wherever they are, seek out terrorist sancturaries and destroy them, shut down terrorist funding and make the act a life sentence, let Syria and Iran know in no uncertain terms that if they don't stop supporting terrorism and the Iraqi insurgency - they're next, and most of all, somehow convince the Democrats that our lives depend on us working together and that they should think less like a moonbat and more like an American.

Bolton or Iraq? As if you had to ask.

Bolton was appointed this morning. Immediately George Voinovich, Olympia Snowe, and Lincoln Chafee left the Republican Party, screaming and urinating uncontrollably, bawling about their grandchildren. Their switch surrendered control of the Senate to the Democrats, who promptly tore up the paperwork on all of Bush's judicial appointments and claimed "it'll take a couple years to find" the other copies. Then they passed a resolution condemning the Iraq War and calling for US diplomats to enter into a Native American drumming circle ritual with the leaders of terrorist-sponsoring nations in order to "heal the rifts between our cultures".

Oh, wait, none of that happened and I'm just goosing Howie a little, as he often does to me when I go off on my pet issue. Actually, the people sweating and bawling over the Bolton appointment today are Howard Dean, Kofi Annan, Dominique de Villepin, and especially Kim Jong Il, who thought he was finally done with this guy but just keeps showing up out of nowhere like Rutger Hauer in The Hitcher. Actually Kim Jong Il's not sweating since his scalp was replaced with a teflon polymer poofy hair-do.

This was the right thing to do on a personal level--Bush has a reputation for loyalty to his staff and he backed Bolton all the way. But he was backing him in the first place because it's sound policy-- we need a firm hand in steering the UN. Bolton's a great guy for this job and I'm glad Bush followed through.

He's also right for this job because in many ways, Bolton doesn't fit in with the neocon/pro-spreading-democracy tenor of much Bush's cabinet. I've heard Bolton described as a paleocon and he's certainly not a fan of excessive US entanglements nor of the advance of international law and the enthroning of international institutions. Except, of course, for the PSI (which he authored)and the Illicit Activities Initiative. Which is why he's uniquely suited to this position--busting the chops of a ridiculously corrupt and self-important institution that thinks itself the Universal and Apostolic Church of the Secular World.

Bolton or Iraq gee I think IÂ’ll go with Iraq

If you are tired of the steady stream of bad news coming from Iraq from the MSM you are not alone. IÂ’ve been looking for good stuff when I have time. Well today I stumbled across another blogger who is doing a fantastic job of just that. He puts me to shame. Not hard to do but you have got to read this. Plenty to keep you busy for some time. See I learn something every day.

A war for the future of Iraq is going on, no doubt about it, but not all of that war is being fought with guns and explosives. Terrorists and insurgents might be killing both soldier and civilians and sabotaging infrastructure, and the Iraqi and the Coalition security forces might in turn be hunting down the enemies of the new Iraq, but every step towards self-government, every new job created, every new school opened are a small victory against those who would want to turn Iraq's clock back three or 1300 years. Below are some of these stories that often get lost in the fog and smoke of war.

Also IÂ’ve neglected Feisty the last week or so. She has a pretty good post on HillaryÂ’s crusade to save the world from GTA. Some cool comments on the C64 and Amiga 1000. Kind of gives me the idea sheÂ’s older than she lets on.

We need you to support Air America

Mr. Right sends us this fine piece. If you remember last week it came out that Air America is under investigation for possibly diverting charity dollars intended to feed poor people to their propaganda operation. Thus choosing to let people go hungry. I guess all those erectile dysfunction ads just aren't paying the bills. So they have started a telethon to raise funds since they can't take rice from the mouths of babes any more.

...JERRY SPRINGER: Thank you, Janeane and Al! A big
wet Air America Radio kiss goes out to Ms. Carrie A.
Grudge of Berkeley, California for her generous
donation of $0.13 and a stale Cheeto, all of which she
just found by digging deep... deep into the cushions
of a couch in her dorm floor lounge! Thank you,
Carrie! Every little bit helps! And after 14 hours,
that brings our grand total to a stunning $227.69! Be
certain to stay tuned, because later on, I will be mud
wrestling two nude toothless midgets with triple-D-cup
sized breasts, live on the air - and at least one of
them, is a man! And now, over to you, Randi!...

Get out your wallets guys.

100,000 British Muslims Back Bombers

Religion of peace update.....

Islamic leaders in Britain are urging their flocks to turn away from "the harbingers of hate" in the wake of a survey showing that 100,000 members of the nation's Muslim community support the London train bombers.

"The word 'Islam' means peace," insisted Rafiq Hayat, national president of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Association U.K. "But we have to live by it in order to grow," he warned, in quotes picked up by the Washington Times.

A YouGov survey commissioned by the London Telegraph last week, however, shows that Hayat and other pro-Western Muslim leaders are facing an uphill battle.

Twenty-four percent of 500 Muslims responding said they sympathize with the suicide bombers. More troubling still, 6 percent said the attacks were necessary.

These "believers" ought not worry about the infidels describing them as promoters of violence and terrorist sympathizers, they validate the accusations by their own shameless admissions.

Update: More illustrations of peace and compassion......

Defending Frist

Yeah, I'm sure the title got a lot of your attention. But it won't be me defending Frist. I'm getting a little tired of trying to find excuses for his bizarre behavior.

However, in today's edition of GOPUSA, one of our esteemed Representatives does attempt to defend Frist. It seems that Representative Paul Stanley once served as an aide for Senator Frist and was around for Frist's first hard decision which, according to him, was the confirmation of Clinton's controversial Surgeon General, Dr. Henry Foster. According to Rep. Stanley, after much discussion and debate, Frist voted for the Surgeon General's confirmation. When asked why, his only response was "Because I had more information than you did."

Rep. Stanley notes this as being indicitive of Frist's decisiveness and strength of character. I note this as being evasive and roundabout. That is the kind of answer that just reeks of "I've been painted into a corner by the Democrats and have to vote with them, but I can't say why." ANY investigative reporter, faced with an answer like that, would be digging for the truth of what happened, hoping to find whatever dirt Frist was blackmailed with.

Now, of course, I don't know if Frist was blackmailed back then any more than I know what his motivations are for coming out against the President on stem cell research. But here's what I do know.

1. Frist has show a fairly consistant record of voting RINO.
2. Frist will be running for President in 2008
3. Frist has no idea of whom he represents.

It seems to me that he's been listening to the Democrats tell him what "mainstream America" wants for too long. Maybe he should go ask mainstream America what they actually do want. Because I'm pretty sure he would get a different answer than what he's coming up with on his own. Hopefully his 2008 aspirations won't be enough to keep someone who is actually worth having in the White House from running.

On a side note, Rep. Stanley mentions an interesting idea for 2008. Have Fred Thompson run for President. I'm not sure exactly about his politics, but I know that he would be well recognized and well liked. It would probably be about as good a chance as we have for continuing Conservative reign.

Teacher Sent Perfumed Love Letters to Boy

(Ft. Worth, Texas) A teacher at Holy Trinity Catholic School in Grapevine, Dawn Reiser, 30, was arrested last year and charged with aggravated sexual assault of a child and indecency with a child for allegedly having an extended-term sexual relationship with her 13-year-old student. Today, her trial starts in Criminal District Court No. 2 in Fort Worth.

From Star-Telegram.com:

Reiser befriended the boy at the Grapevine school, where she had worked for four years.

According to a search warrant affidavit, Reiser kept in contact with the boy in the spring of 2004 by calling him on the telephone, emailing him and meeting with him without his mother's knowledge.

At some point, Reiser told the boy that she loved him, and they discussed getting married when he turned 18, the search and arrest warrants state.

The boy told Colleyville police that Reiser picked him up June 10, 2004, at his house and drove him to her Euless home, according to the affidavits. Her husband was not there.

The boy told police that Reiser tied his arms to a bedpost with black silk ties and spread warming lotion on him, the search warrant states. For the next three hours, they had sex "nine or 12 times," and Reiser performed a sex act on him, according to the affidavits.

Days after that encounter, the boy went to the Christian summer camp, where he received what appeared to be "love letters," the affidavits state.

The perfumed letters were adorned with hearts and flowers and professed Reiser's love for the boy. The boy contacted camp counselors who alerted the police. During a search, police found the warming lotion and black silk ties in Reiser's home.

If convicted, the 30-year-old Reiser could get life in prison on the assault charge and 20 years on the indecency charge. It's unknown what Mr. Reiser thinks of the situation.

Within the past week, there have been a number of female sex abuse cases reported, seemingly a spike. Dawn Reiser's case is somewhat unique in that it's the first time I've heard of an adult woman introducing a child to bondage sex. For consenting adults, it might be considered kinky. This case is a sick perversion.

[Update 8/05/05, 0630 EDT]

Reiser was convicted and sentenced to eight years in prison, to permanent loss of teaching credentials, and to register as a sex offender. Both the prosecution and defense were satisfied with the punishment.

Free Music Monday

I have a friend over at Conservative Friends who is a musician. She has recently released an album called "Good Clean Fun Volume 2" that you should really check out. She's a lot like a political Weird Al. You can get a sample of the music here as well as seeing the track listing. There is also a link in that post to another area where you can download the entire "Good Clean Fun Volume 1."
