2005, A Sandcrawler Year In Review

It's as predictable as the rising of the sun. The slavering fools of the media are shoving their Year In Review stories down your throats in print and over the airwaves. In their arrogance, they think it's up to them to tell you what the most influential and important news of 2005 was.

Well, we at the Jawa Report hoist our beer steins and shout F*ck You! at these gibbering fools.

Don't read some idiot's recounting of the year, give us what you think was the best and worst, happiest and saddest, most fun and least fun event of the year that is passing.

I'll give you a jump start:

Worst moment of 2005, my mother-in-law, dying of cancer, telling me to "take care of her baby." Those were her last words to me.

Best moment of 2005, celebrating the 10th anniversary of marriage to her baby.

You get the idea.

2 Agent Smith's best times: System search for Club Hel's gas mask woman. Laughing hysterically at the grotesqueries of human nature. Smacking Agent Brown with the hockey stick. Agent Smith's worst times: Explaining the meaning of life to stupid podlings who thought they were free. Listening to a GI bot describe the stench of the churned ooze from a neglected pod where the occupant expired years earlier - leaky dead battery! Educating dumb podlings that 2005 was over 100 years ago.

3 I prefer to wait for Dave Barry's year in review. did you ever read his piece on Jan 1st 2000 "The Y1K disaster"? Funniest thing he ever did. My best personally? Having my daughter move from north Georgia closer to me after 5 years so far away. Celebrating my tenth anniversary with Nin and still being crazy about him.

5 Best time: Waking up every morning and realizing I'm still alive and the world hasn't destroyed itself while I was asleep. Worst time: Immediately following waking, I also realize that the world is still full of liberals, muslims, rats, and flies, and immediately regret that the world didn't destroy itself while I was asleep.
