7 I attended the Cowboys game today. At half time, besides the usual big name stars, they had a bunch of Army guys and gals,stationed out of Ft. Hood, TX. People in the crowd started chanting "USA", "USA"...it wasn't hard to get caught up in the moment. My youngest son, who has Down Syndrome was captured on camera giving a salute, similiar to JFK, Jr. at his Dad's funeral procession. Needless to say, lots of tears were shed.

9 The sacred month of Ramadan has barely passed and the murder of Magaret Hassan reminds us all of the grim circumstances that exist in Iraq. It appears that the murderers decided to let Ramadam pass before going through with their act of callousness. To even the most hard-hearted and extreme Muslim, this timing makes little sense, for this act is unlawful and inhumane, irrespective of when it takes place. Today we are not debating the religion of the murderers of Mrs Hassan, but rather whether or not they are human in any way. If these murederers were Muslims in the slightest, they would have been familiar with the rules of engagement: that women, the weak and elderly are not to be harmed in any way. Everybody hopes that those responsible are brought to account. Last Friday, thousands of Muslims raised their hands in prayer for Mrs Hassan and her family. The digust and anguish is clear from all at the fact that once again their religion has been hijacked and abused. There is, however, another side to this coin. Mrs Hassan worked in Iraq for many years, some under Saddam's tyrannical regime, which now appears to have been safer: the danger seems to have begun after the liberation. This liberation turned an already volatile country into a breeding ground for terrorists, caused people to pick up arms and take the law into their own hands, and brought about unimaginable brutalities. All violence raises the question: was the lawlessness of Saddam actually more peaceful? If these hostilities are a celebration of that liberation, then I hope that Tony Blair and George Bush will not go liberating other countries, at least not in my name.

During WW1 if you had an officer of an infrantry regiment, just like Zarqawi for example in charge of his men, and the men were aggrieved they would of shot the officer in the back. These Zarqawi cling-on's, should kill him too, for deserting them in the battle, that was Fallujah. He is a coward, as you say. They are losing in Iraq and they know it.
