Electoral Vote College: Bush Winning

Screenshots taken from one site that is openly pro-Bush, and another that is openly pro-Kerry. Dr. Chaos pointed these out to me.

Update: Steve Green has been predicting this for some time, too.

1 Rusty: I'm pretty sure the lower one's wrong. It's sixteen votes short of a full load.

2 That's because they have 'toss-up' category.

3 Rusty, Check out the following site: http://geekmedia.org/tradesports/ It keeps a running tally (updated every 3 hours) of the states based on how people are betting. Essentially it's like having the Iowa Political Markets broken down into 50 states. PS: I bought 30 shares of Bush to win Missouri when it was at 55. It's over 60 now.

4 The Electoral College count I found earlier today had Bush at 300and Kerry at 238. Sorry, I didn't bookmark the url or I'd post it here. Any of the three, or even an average of the three indicate things aren't going Kerry's way - and the EC is the poll that counts.

5 Man! I've *really* got to learn to preview when I find myself typoing my user-nick. ;]

6 Looks like my prediction is almost there - Bush winning with 49-53% of the popular vote and 300+ EC votes.

7 The numbers are still way to close. That scares me. No one has ever asked me to poll so no one has the opinion of those in my household or even my neighbors and I can tell you they are voting for Bush. So how can the numbers be correct in any way? ~C

8 firstbrokenangel, Consider yourself lucky that when the doctors ask for a blood sample they don't take two quarts.
