1 Unless something dramatic and quite possibly bloody happens within the next 20 years, Europe will continue its ever decaying orbit around history's drain. The thing is, they have the power to stop it. The people are not violently oppressed by their governments and thus lack the excuse that Iraqis could have once made or that people like Libyans and Zimbaweans could make now to justify living with their current situation. They see the downward spiral, something only they can fix, but choose to do nothing about it. Watching things get worse on a daily basis sends my blood pressure skyward.

3 European freedoms are not the same as the American counterparts. Their "freedoms" are narrowly defined privileges as prescribed by the state. These privileges are always under-review and modification. Many Americans would be surprised that so much they take for granted is illegal or restricted in Western Europe. There is a lot there that would be unconstitutional here. Its their countries so I usually don't bitch until some here start confusing us with them. Did you all ever wonder why Libs & Leftists here in America as so fascinated and enthralled with much of Western Europe? Did you think it was just fashions and music? Europeans aren't really obsessed with "liberty" because their primary obsessions are actually "libertine". Their comfort, the status quo, and personal pleasure is what's important to them foremost. If they can work out a deal with muslims while maintaining whatÂ’s most important to them - they will. Don't cry for them - they may seem weak - but they are not. They pass themselves off today as progressive, enlightened and peaceful peoples - but they have a long history of ruthless savagery, viciousness and brutality. They have dealt with "minorities" in the past (ethnic, racial, religious, political etc.) - and not that long ago! Its one of the reasons why so many of them fled to here as immigrants - you all don't think it was done on a lark now, do you? The Europeans need the muslims for a number of reasons - primarily because the Europeans aren't breeding. When they decide the risks outweigh the benefits - the muslims are gonna be screwed.

5 Perhaps the most disheartening aspect of that story is that the response by the governments in these European countries is to look at enacting new laws prohibiting speech that Muslims might find offensive. 6 Hondo, I doubt it. Europeans have been brow beaten with if they dare say that they have any value they'll be called nazis, typical statement by leftists. Yes, leftards will get violent but not against muslims, they'll get violent against their own not against murderous thugs of islam.
