Now, predictably, Wafa Sultan is the target of mumerous death threats left on her answering machine. This New York Times article may have increased the danger to Dr. Sultan and her family by unnecessarily revealing personal details about Wafa and her husband. Two big surprises: Islamist terrorists threaten a woman for bravely speaking her mind, and the New York Times gives no thought to anyone's well-being when they're writing a story.

The New York Times is the most far left newspaper in this country. You shouldn't have been surprised.

She did, however, I doubt taht she expected them to reveal as much as they did, especially since most of the personal detail seems irrelevant to the story. It's possible she encouraged them to publish it as a show of defiance, but, if the NYT doesn't care about national security, why would they care about danger to an individual?

Dammit, did I step on a post of yours, Howie? If so, let me know and I'll delete this one.

No Bluto don't take it down at all you brought up an important point I did not think of. Feel free to leave it like it is or combine. I checked my post and I did have the city. But most of my quotes didn't have much I thought would be bad. If you see something, as always, fee free to edit me anytime. No you did not step on me at all. If I remember right you have some training as a jounalist so I'm glad your pointed that out for us ordinary schmucks,

Wufa, get you a .45 auto, a concealed carry permit, practice weekly, and mentally prepare to protect yourself with deadly force, if neccessary. This is better than any police protection available anywhere.

That would be some really bad PR for American muslims if Wufa gets fucked with-- There only has to be one violent asshole that doesn't care--or think about-- the post-PR to do something like this. And, um, we know that there are a lot more than just one person who would try something so "against your group's interest". The Jihad breeds a Retard. It rhymes here in boston... we don't have "r's" up heah.

The New York Times released Bat Ye'or's real name, too. Is revealing Dr. Wafa Sultan's name a thinly veiled attempt of liberals to get conservatives killed by Islamists?

The Times, in an unconscionable breach of journalistic ethics, revealed the real name of Bat YeÂ’or in a recent article.

The NYT has done this before and without a doubt will do it again. The NYT reporters and editors live in a fantasy world where what they write has no consequences and no need to be based on facts. If they did, Paul Krugman would have been fired years ago since he's never been right on anything since he learned how to write.

I really wish people like the NYT writers who published Bet Ye'or's name would move out of the city for a few years, so as to get a basic clue as to how most of us live. I am so fucking sick of the citys' people telling me--through most media outlets--how the rest of the world works. Such arrogance. I don't even like to get started on this one, it gets me so mad!!!
