Top Democrat Leaves House Ethics Committee.

Yes itÂ’s just the Republicans who are crooked.

CNN :The top Democrat on the House ethics committee, Alan Mollohan, will leave the panel -- at least temporarily -- while he defends his own financial conduct, Democratic leader Nancy Pelosi said Friday.
Mollohan's decision comes in an election year when his party is accusing majority Republicans of allowing a "culture of corruption" in Congress.
Mollohan, of West Virginia, will be replaced by Rep. Howard Berman of California, a former ranking Democrat on the panel. Mollohan has denied any wrongdoing.

The Wall Street Journal reported two weeks ago that Mollohan steered millions of dollars to nonprofit groups in his district -- with much of the money going to organizations run by people who contribute to the lawmaker's campaigns.
Also, a conservative group filed a complaint with federal prosecutors this year questioning whether Mollohan correctly reported his assets on financial disclosure forms.

Hmm guess not. More to this than we now see, methinks.

1 This actually happened 3 (three) days ago. Amazing how it has *not* been covered by the MSM/DNC. The above is a snide remark for anyone not familiar with me. The MSM/DNC has tried to hide Democrtatic corruption for 76 years. Talk Radio threw a monkey wrench into the machinery 28 years ago.

3 I think it has more to do with teh word politcian than Republican or Democrat.

4 Hmm gunshot. Heard that twice while blogging now to give yuo and idea of where I'm at. No it's not dangerous or frequent. Something may be dead though not a person. Some times people hit deer too and a bystander or a policeman has to you know. Kill it.

5 Every time you hear a gunshot, an angel gets its wings.

6 And all these years I thought it was a bell. Now where did I get that idea, Clarence, uh, I mean IM? But if it is gunshots, I've sure caused a lot of angels to get their wings. About 25,000 or so, I guess.

7 Not to post on topic or anything, but to have a dhimmicrap on an ethics committee is like Libya chairing the UN Human Rights Commission.

8 This was in our local Saturday paper on page three. If it makes page three in our paper it'll be damn lucky to appear on page 16 in the NYT.

9 I'm reminded of the late great LBJ - a man from very humble beginnings who committed his entire life to public service - and died with an estate worth in excess of 40 million (then dollars).

10 You folks are right, when a Democrat sinks to the criminal behavior of a Republican, that is news, kind of like dog bites man! But here's the thing: this very report stated the Wall Street Journal reported on this matter two weeks ago, as did the Christian Science Monitor, the New York Times and the Washington Post among others. I'd say these sources are about as MSM as you get. So where do the MSM drop a ball the blogosphere had to pick up?

11 Oh wow Eddie, that stung! Boy, you really showed us that time, you did.
