fellow hunter Harry Whittington, a lawyer. Whittington is in the hospital and reported to be "alert and doing fine."
There's no confirmation of the rumor that Whittington is a Democrat.

Nope, Whittington contributed $1000 to Bush's 2000 campaign, and $2000 to his 2004 campaign.

Soon we'll hear that Cheney was using Depleted Uranium.

I don't know about "Depleted Uranium", but I'm curious how long it takes before someone uses the words "high capacity", "assault", or "banned" in regards to Mr. Cheney's shotgun.

Too bad Kerry wasn't there, but then, he only goes on fake hunting trips, with pre-shot game and new-out-of-the-box clothes and guns.

In other news, Dick Cheney's office has invited Venezuelan Pres. Hugo Chavez to Armstrong Ranch next week. Pres. Chavez replied "No f***ing way!"

IO: I'm not sure of the relevance. That little fact never stopped the dhimmi's or Frank "the wide mouth ass" as he's known at Hair America----by all of his friends. Neither one was available for comment as they noticed the gun oil smell permeating the entire closet!

While I cannot claim this, it's worth passing on:
"I'd rather go hunting with Cheny than riding with Ted Kennedy..."

Atleast Cheney did his own shooting. Remember when Kerry pretend to shoot some ducks?

The left is having a blast with this. Conspiracy theories are cropping up everywhere on the liberal blogs. They are sounding the death nell for gun rights, as if this were the first hunting accident, as if the world didn't know that guns can be dangerous things. If there is anything the left hates more than the truth, it is Dick Cheney. Of course, since his political career will be over in 2008, they are just wasting their energy. Their stupidity is quite funny.

I used to think that Cheney was given five draft deferments so he could focus on his "other priorities in the '60s." Turns out the Army was just looking out for its soldiers.

Randal:
"I used to think" pretty much says it all, don't ya think? That's rhetorical.
Accidents are just that, nothing more and nothing to be made out of it. Hence the term accident.

Yeah forest, except that we know he's lying; he never has had an actual thought, and never will, he just lives on his emotions, like an ugly girl at home on prom night.
