10 Grey, Canada looks after its own, first. The same as any country ought to. Would you put the citizens of Canada ahead of the citizens of the U.S? Of course not. Canada isn't going to let its citizens suffer if it can avoid it. As such, Canada contributes what it can in terms of, say, troops after taking care of its citizens. I mean, Canada's army is so small to begin with, how many troops would you think they would be able to offer up anyways? It's not a question of "being afraid to fight." It's a question of being *able* to contribute meangingfully. Canada has troops on the ground in Afghanistan. I don't see how that makes them afraid. I'm not saying America should adopt Canada's way of governing. I'm just implying that I don't see the point of criticizing a country that's actually dont pretty well for themselves. It took Canada decades to even consider limited aboriginal self-government (a people with more sympathies across Canada than Muslims), so the adoption of anything close to Shariah law is, realistically speaking, a ways off, if at all possible. Not to mention that Canadian laws will continue to supercede all others (aboriginal, Muslim, or otherwise).
