disaster scenario for New Orleans earlier today. Up to 100,000 people could be dead by this time tomorrow, and New Orleans could be uninhabitable for weeks, maybe months.

Gasoline is gonna kill me now. My car is totally empty. I have no money in my wallet. Got paid Friday but my bank is no longer open on Saturdays.

Apparently it is not as bad as what was thought. A last minute eastward movement and a quicker than expected weakening of the storm is going to keep things to less than epic proportions.
