News according to Big Brother. A pretty good example of how relying on the MSM for your news and worldview is like living in a fantasy world.
The days of the Liberal MSM as gatekeeper are quickly coming to an end. They've got another 10 years max until the seniors who keep them in business pass on, and then the MSM is toast. The Dems built-in handicap won't last much longer either.

JC - the MSM will exist for a long, long time because they can do things that we bloggers can't - like hire stringers and reporters to be everywhere at once. Most blogs are about analysis and opinion because we blogger have real lives (and jobs) that keep us from traveling the world to get the story. They won't be able to hide stories or ignore them, but for the most part they will continue to function as they have - because whether we want to admit it or not, we need them.

yes, currently the MSM are the only one's who can afford to do what they do, but eventually they will succumb to market forces. Journalism will look very different ten years from now. Money follows the readership, and the readership is dispersing to non-traditional news sources.

I realize our country has crime, and crazy folks are going to do stuff, but Islam seems to bred hate, and death on a scale never before seen.
Maybe, I am just not useing enough compassion, and understanding for other religions. On second thought, screw that. Islam worships a false moon god, and their boy Mo. likes to get it on with children.
